The room was basic, comfortable, and clean. The mattress was comfortable as were pillows. Tea and coffee facilities were nice with a big TV. The bathroom was well appointed and clean. Numerous fast food outlets within 2 minutes walk. There is also the ability to buy drinks and snacks at reception. Close proximity to both domestic and international terminals.

I know it's a budget hotel, but cleanliness should be a non-negotiable. The room is tiny and dusty, the bathroom awkward and the shower soaks the floor. There's even a notice telling you to keep the bathroom door shut or you may incur a $1500 fine if the steam sets the fire alarm off! Charming!
The reception staff didn't say a word, just handed me the key card and that was it. No directions, or welcome. The only positive is that the bed is comfortable (but I'd hate to see what is under the sheet!) And we can apparently walk to the domestic terminal in 10 minutes. That remains to be seen!
Wouldn't stay again, and certainly wouldn't recommend. I've stayed in nicer backpacker hostels.

Managed to book a room fairly last minute as my flight was cancelled and moved to the next day. Within walking distance of the airport although I Uber'd for $13. The room was nice, and the bed was very comfy. Plenty of floor space for luggage and even a mounted device for holding a suitcase (I think, didn't need to use it). The shower was a bit annoying since there was low water pressure, but this was because of there being no door or curtain to stop water going everywhere.

In my opinion you can't beat the location for the price. We needed an overnight to fly into Sydney and out to Jakarta the next day. The room was not large, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a ledge in the bathroom above the sink for our toiletries - something I appreciate when there is no counter around the sink. Don't plan to dance in the bathroom - it's small, but completely functional. No closets, but for an overnight that was unimportant. There is a small desk space with a stool if you needed to do a little work. There are vending machine snacks and beverages available. The hotel next door has more substantial food such as breakfast until 10 a.m.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I am fine with budget accommodation, but not dirty, poorly kept and dishonest budget accommodation. We booked a few weeks in advance for a Queen bed room, when we arrived was initially told that the Ibis did not have a room for us. They did sort this out, thank you. The bed is NOT a queen. My partner is quite tall and broad so we did not sleep well, have a queen at home and usually fit just great. The window shade was broken so the lights from the signs outside kept our room very bright. The air conditioning was preset, so we could not set a temperature that suited us. It also made such a racket that we turned it off in the end.
I would not stay here, the room was very run down, the elevators were dirty and dingy. Neither of us slept. Not a great place to spend the night. Spend the extra money and stay at the Mantra next door. Have stayed there as well, it is MUCH better.

+ Cheap and chearful like all ACCOR IBIS BUDGET hotels By Ibis Budget Accor brand this has the poorest breakfast I have used this brand level in a number of countries around the world.
- I stayed as i HAD AN EARLY FLIGHT Breakfast was very por for IBIS BUDGET ....it was to start at 6000h the shuttle bus to the international terminal was at 0610 and 0650 the breakfast was not properly set up giving 10 mins to wolf it down Accor is huge French Hotel group I would have expected better management of this stupidity I hope that Paris HQ is reading this comment ...VERY POOR ORGANISATION FOR A MAJOR CHAIN.

Great value for money and the rooms, although on the small size, were super quiet! Bed comfy and there are some fast food places within walking distance. Good for a transit. It's budget but in a good way!

Friendly , helpful service. If you want a hotel that's close to airport and cheap, then it's okay. Kind of hard to get here on foot from the airport , there's a shuttle you can use.

Bed looked like it had already been slept in, photo demonstrates how it was when we pulled the duvet back. Cleanliness and maintenance needs some attention. The only thing that wasn't budget was the price.
