The service in terms of responsiveness and kindness are excellent. Came in a great variety and the quality is good. Although it is a old hotel, the management did a wonderful job to maintain it

The service and locations are great

Service staff was polite and helpful. Room decor style is simple modern classic, nothing fanciful. Bathroom looks a bit dated but clean. Shower head is fixed to the wall, can't be removed

So happy to get the room with the Opera House view. The room is quite spacious, and reasonable price. I will come back again if I have an opportunity.

There is no rain shower head too. Toiletries were not provided in the room, need to request from front desk

My favourite stay in Sydney, great location and nice amenities, easy access to Circular Quay station.

It was a busy week due to the vivid Sydney but they are still able to find us a room. There is a famous restaurant on the lower floor and also a place where kids can hangout with gadgets and a pool table

The hotel location is great, face to the Darling Harbour and connected with the Light Rail - Convention station, just 3-4 stations to China Town and CBD, but the room light is not enough, if add 1-2 lamps will be better, but everything are good, still consider to stay next time!

We were supposed to stay for 4 days but ended up extending for our one week vacation in Sydney! The rooms are big, we need to transfer to another room as we extended our stay and had to do another booking

It’s very convenient and just walking distance to the Darling Harbour as well as the city proper. There are a lot of convenience store around as well as restaurants

The location is golden, near to the light rail station and very strategically located in the heart of Sydney Harbour. The view is beautiful especially at night.

Room is really good and clean, good location , breakfast was really good too. My room had the view of the harbour, great view at night with the lights.

Great experience! The girl who checked me in was very friendly and professional. Damon at the bell desk took care of the luggage as I had arrived early. Overall great stay!

I could still feel the separation of the bed underneath, which was uncomfortable during rest time. The bed and pillow was too soft for my liking

Disappointed to know that the king size bed was actually too single beds combined together with a thin layer of “protection” above the sheets

Location is great, very central from everything, breakfast was delicious, however the queue was long, very comfortable bed, room was not too small or big. was just the right size.

Spacious and clean and comfortable room with good decorations. Breakfast with views to the QVB. Fitness centre and pool/sauna are part of Fitness First, which closes at 9pm

On the other hand, a couple of management decisions had a very negative influence on my experience: First, the swimming pool closes too early, at 21:00, despite not having a life guard on duty, nor being staffed

The hotel itself and the room are good. However the house keeping could be improved.  I have 3 people but always only 2 sets of towel were provided even after my complaint

This is an excellent hotel with friendly and responsive staff who were very helpful during check-in. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained

 Besides, the toiletries and coffee capsules were not refilled frequently

The fitness centre is well appointed and the pool, spa and sauna area were fantastic with the pool area having fantastic views of the city. Chris from Day Spa reception was very kind and welcoming

- Gym Facilities Are Too Poor Location: BEST The hotel is old and the facilities are worn out overall. However it was clean and well maintained The best thing about this hotel is the location

Helpful to advise to deduct the payment from the deposit for the buffet breakfast on the second night, so facilitate me to do express checkout, email me receipt so that it is also environmental friendly and saving time to catch the next morning flight

The view from our room on the harbour side was so stunning and impressive. However, the size of the room was too small and inconvenient. So overall, I'd give it about 4 out of 5 stars

This hotel was amazing and location was perfect. Within a ten minute walk you could tour the main attractions like the opera house and the cruise ships

An unique trip stays with this hotel just besides the circular quay. Open the window, you can see the bridge fm your clean and elegant room. Swim in the highest level 31 floor, there you will have a wider view

Uncomfortable duvets and way too tucked. Breakfast wasn’t great, a bit disappointing for Intercontinental, not very fresh or nicely displayed as it was separated between two small rooms

We were surprised as we had tried the M*rriot breakfast in the same neighborhood which was much better, from the quality of the products, to the selection or the way we were welcomed

Service was good and attentive. We arrived early in the morning and the reception offered to send me a whasapp once my room is ready and my bags were already in the room waiting

Easy to travel to all places since here is the center. Most important for me is the staff here do know hospitality. Definitely my choice in Sydney next trip in AU

A nice hotel in a good location close to the train station and cafes/ restaurants. Rooms are spacious however not much view outside as there are other buildings close to it. Also has a bar with good variety of drinks

This hotel is great, we stayed for 4 nights. Also close with public transportation. We have two little kids they love to walk to tram and buses very close

The staff are very pleasant and obliging. Happy to help with any difficulty of request. King bed very comfortable and breakfast buffet very nice and caters for various cultures. Enjoyed our fourth stay in 15 months.

The location is prime. The service is excellent. Warm greeting at the entrance. Smooth checkin and checkout. Free upgrade to clock tower king room. The clock tower view is stunning. Would stay here again if we come back.

This is a beautiful hotel set right in the heart of downtown Sydney. The staff were very attentive to anything we needed and happy to help. The room was clean and very beatifully appointed with luxurious features

My favourite stay in Sydney, clean and fully equipped with perfect location where you can see the Opera house.

They ran out of the room, but provided a big room with a roller bed. Not to bad. The pool is a bit small, especially for the busy season, it was crowded.

Great location, great pool and jacuzzi, will definitely go there again.

Next to Light Rail Station Bridge St and few mins walk to Metro Station Wydyard. Kind service and big room for family. Arrive at 9am and they allow early check in after a long haul flight arriving early morning

Had the king bed last night and it was fantastic. Are downstairs at the restaurant and it was some of the best good I've ever had. Service has been impeccable. Great gym and pool. Had a great stay

Everything was fine during my 4-night stay, except for the fact that they unreasonably set the key access to end before the 11 am check-out time. I couldn't open my room door after my morning walk at 10:40 am

That said, everything else is a bit off - breakfasts are disappointingly lacking in variety, the chairs are extremely hard to move on the carpet, towels are linty, in the bathroom - the sink is the only place to put your phone, and shampoo is fixed in the shower stall with no way to take it to the tub (do people not wash their hair in tubs here?)

It’s impossible to have dim lighting since the lamps shine right in your eyes. The furniture, while stylish is a bit old and creaky and the trash bins are ridiculously small and awkward to open

Yet the hotel offers good value for money in central Sydney, and the staff truly deserves praise. Just consider twice if minor annoyances could bother you and destroy your nerves

This situation made me anxious and wasted my time trying to find someone to open the door so I could get back my luggage. I hope that they can make improvement

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms are newly renovated, modern, and very comfortable. Everything was spotless — from the bathroom to the linens. You can really tell they pay attention to cleanliness

Overall, a fresh and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommended for travelers who value a clean and updated environment

The only negative was the limited TV channels, and having to pay $34. 99 for 24 hours unlimited viewing fir films, when guests are likely to be out and about for most of the day. It would be better to pay per film

Nice hotel, beds comfortable, food in boca restaurant was good, very tasty and good portions. 10 to 15 min walk to train station, which are cheap and relatively easy to use .

Easy location to the train station , 2 stops, and you're at Sydney Central. If you're on an early morning flight, i. 30, use an Uber otherwisethe provided shuttlebus is a great resource

The hotel is lovely; however, the restaurant needs improvement. It is widely believed that the restaurant has poor ventilation, which led to the arrival of the fire truck

Additionally, the restaurant staff could benefit from better English proficiency and guidance

I especially loved the $10/night credit offered if you skip a room clean

It's one of those hotels that corporate or business people uses for when travelling for work. What surprised me, was that the TV had access to downloaded movies and shows of all genres. Was a good library of choices

The team are so friendly, the room has everything you could possibly need. Step outside and youre walking distance to everything. The bed was comfy and was quiet to sleep

Stayed here many times and haven't given a review. It's been a positive experience for me as the rooms are always clean and presentable, small but comfortable. Nice bathroom and very centrally located. Friendly staff.

Front desk staff was very courteous and accommodating; went above and beyond to help me locate a lost item. Hotel is walking distance to many, many points of interest. Room was small but nicely appointed

From the minute we arrived we were treated like VIPS, the rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were marble and very nice. The pool and spa were great to kill time between outings

Comfortable bed also! Was very delighted to stay here! We also had a nice swim in their pool which was great temp, the only negative was that the sauna was SO hot I felt like it was burning my skin and I literally couldn’t sit there

A wonderfully historic hotel backed by very courteous staff. We had 2 kids with us and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Pool and amenities were great. Will come back in the near future

I can only talk about the pool, spa and steam room which I had a chance to use. The pool was great - large enough and heated. The spa was smaller but a good level of heat

I've stayed here twice in the last month and each time has been a really pleasant experience. You can't beat the location for convenience with Vivid activities. Rooms are comfy, quiet and thoughtfully appointed

Good and central location. Only please bring your own toiletries, the hotel is probably trying to be sustainable so we were only provided with a small piece of soap & 1 tube of shampoo/conditioner for our 4 day stay.

We had a comfortable room eventhough the bed mattress showed signs of wear and was a little lumpy and had body indent areas. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks, nice surprise

I chose The Grace Hotel because it was close to the Theatre Royal, we had booked to see "Cats". I love th gothic style of the building and had always wanted to stay there

Very happy to see that the art deco fittings were still in place and the building model and historic articles were very interesting

They seemed to only supply free to air television stations but with a bit of their guidence, we were able to chromecast our app. to the television - I say it this was because we are not the tech minded but we got there

Love the old style glass and wood deco matched by the modern rooms. The showers I won't describe because I wouldn't want to ruin the fabulous surprise. It's just a shame the room service isn't late night/24hour

Room was clean and comfortable, unfortunately there was 5 of us booked in the room and the sofa bed hadn’t been made up ready and there was only 4 towels. Reception didnt pick up when called

Sad about the pippis ( sesame sauce on it? Really?) The best recepi is garlic,olive all and coriander. Lamb shanks was a great idea in a massive pan swimming in rice, same to the "Taco shed"

The Novotel in Brighton Le Sands is a fabulous hotel in Sydney's south. Highly recommend it for families, couples or just for a relaxing night before a flight!

I do prefer the ones in the big plates, they were moist. Coffee was terrible, they used to have Nespresso. Overall was a great day of Easter

Easter Sunday lunch was better than last Friday. Staff were amazing polite and ready to serve. Seafood was nice and plenty with variety

It is nice that there is a free gym and pool, but unfortunately it was raining every day and I was unable to use them

It's very close to the subway station and bus station. There are many food nearby.

After being told numerous times that they would organise a refund, they then said that I had to contact Trip. com, who I had booked through, so not very good at resolving their errors. In saying that, I must commend Trip

Whilst there were a few disappointments you have some staff who are shining stars who soften the disappointments. I didn't take down the young lady's name who checked me in Friday evening but she is one of your stars

The restaurant being closed Friday & Saturday evening was a nuisance. For breakfast the first morning (Saturday) the staff didn't recognise that I am a Platinum member and what that meant

It has everything you need for a Sydney trip: great location, room amenities and service, a restaurant in the building and pool with SPA is great perk after a ling day in the city

Since the check in time was 2pm and no vacant room was available in the morning, I left my luggage with them and was offered the changing room at the swimming pool to refresh myself after the overnight flight

The hotel gets a bit dated with that typical smell but still I’d recommend

Nevertheless, the hotel can pay attention to the cleanliness of the furniture in the room and cleaning of the bathtub. To include a bath gel in the bathroom amenities would be a good idea!

The room was spacious and comfortable and the restaurant offered delicious food. The location of the hotel is convenient and just a few minutes walk from the Central Station

My only suggestion would be that if you are catching the Sydney Shuttle Service from Bay 4 at the airport, it was confusing to find. Once I figured it out (followed a crowd and asked them), the shuttle was full

Novotel was last on the shuttle drive, so it took a while. On the way from Novotel to the airport, the next morning, it was super easy and quick because you can book your seat ahead of time

The shuttle driver was wonderful and made it work by squeezing me in, however if I didn't make it on the shuttle there was not another one for 40 minutes and it was 8:15pm (ish) at night

The waiters and waitresses are very kind, the food is amazing and you definitely pay for what you get. I would recommend this place if you'd like to come here for a celebration e

I've never actually stayed overnight at this hotel but I have come here multiple times both with my family and by myself for a drink or for lunch/dinner
