Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay, Sydney1 / 50

Have been to this hotel twice. The service in terms of responsiveness and kindness are excellent. The breakfast was great. Came in a great variety and the quality is good. Although it is a old hotel, the management did a wonderful job to maintain it. The service and locations are great.
My favourite stay in Sydney, great location and nice amenities, easy access to Circular Quay station.
Overall better than Melbourne one but have to say the room cleaning services was bad. I’ve left one toothpaste stain on mirror, it’s not removed. When I was searching for something on the floor, I’ve found one slipper left under my (bed) - no idea the poor slipper was left there for how long 😒 The hotel is old but charging a 5-Stars price… definitely not worth the price That said, front desk staff...
The location is perfect, near restaurant halal, near station n port of cruise... Will be back if I go to sydney next time
So happy to get the room with the Opera House view. The room is quite spacious, and reasonable price. I will come back again if I have an opportunity.
Location is excellent. Service staff was polite and helpful. Room decor style is simple modern classic, nothing fanciful. Bathroom looks a bit dated but clean. Shower head is fixed to the wall, can't be removed. There is no rain shower head too. Toiletries were not provided in the room, need to request from front desk.

We had a really lovely time here. They gave us complimentary cake and champagne for our wedding day. It made me and my husband feel apprecited and valued. The view was truly spectacular.
Location: Decent, but not as convenient as expected—especially with the steep slope nearby. Food: Limited variety in dining options. View: Stunning! From 33 floor, Harbour Bridge and Opera House views were the highlight. ✨ Parking: Pricey at $65 (casual) / $105 (per day). Overall: 4/5 stars – Great stay with amazing views, though some areas could improve.
Great experience! The girl who checked me in was very friendly and professional. Damon at the bell desk took care of the luggage as I had arrived early. Overall great stay!
Can't fault our stay! The best accommodation we've ever had in Sydney and extremely good value for money.
Disappointed to know that the king size bed was actually too single beds combined together with a thin layer of “protection” above the sheets. I could still feel the separation of the bed underneath, which was uncomfortable during rest time. The bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. I like firm beds/pillows. Even though I had requested a few other firm pillows from the menu pillow amenities, the...
Washroom was having insects. They charged me extra for parking. I payed 115$ extra for parking After having conversation with hotel staff I come to know that , if I book from any site like trip view -I have to pay extra for parking If i was knowing this- i won’t be booking the hotel. Overall I didn’t like it.

Great facility, great location, it would be a great stay but your receptionist Ramy has ruined it at the time of the check in. A great thanks to your reservation team who is able to solve the problem whin a few minutes.
Service was good. Managed to get a room before standard check in time. Nice view from the room.
Very convenient to go anywhere especially the fish market, many restaurants nearby.
I would definitely stay here again. The staff were amazing and the pool area was fantastic especially the outdoor spa.
Excellent service, best location for public transport thank you!😀
the staff were not aware of their hotel and surrounding areas- i was sent in the wrong direction and no one mention my sons special birthday despite saying something three times it really wasn’t the right hotel

Supermarket and bus close by and a great room. Quiet at night and a fascinating view of the horses training and swimming mornings. Only shortfall was a lack of cooking pots and a kettle. Turns out it should have been there but had gone missing since the last audit. Would guess it's been remedied since. Staff were friendly and VERY helpful.
I was worried a lot cause of all bad reviews. But this place was pretty good!(if you've been experiencing hostels) Room was clean, this buildings are new. Kitchen is small but we didnt cook so... Wifi worked well in the room (i stayed at another hostels and those places had wifi only available in lobby) Reasonable price for this conditions i think!
You get what you pay for. The bed is okay covered in a light sheet for bedding, and 2 pillows. The shower works well, all the lights work, and the room was clean. The downside is there is no a/c, and you can hear people in the hallway clearly. We try to leave the fan on while we’re away but the house keeping turns it off. All the house keeping does is take out the trash.

Great location, great pool and jacuzzi, will definitely go there again.
They ran out of the room, but provided a big room with a roller bed. Not to bad. The pool is a bit small, especially for the busy season, it was crowded.
Location is a bit far from restaurant, or bars and cafes.
Next to Light Rail Station Bridge St and few mins walk to Metro Station Wydyard. Kind service and big room for family. Arrive at 9am and they allow early check in after a long haul flight arriving early morning. View is good.
Everything amazing. But the breakfast could have more international options.
I have issues with the concierge and every time that I have to contact you

The rooms were comfortable and the restaurant was excellent.
I don’t think this is a 5 star hotel..3.5-4 stars at best The only decent thing is the gym and proximity to the airport. The faculties are outdated including the room and bathroom (clean but old) There’s not even a microwave in the room and I get that in most 3 star hotels. The beds are comfy enough. The minibar fridge was empty which was shocking. The gym and pool shut at 10pm which is annoying for...
Average hotel, good location. This is not a 5 star hotel. Average fit out in the rooms, very dated. Mouldy grout in the bathroom. There is 0 minibar in room. Not even a bottle of water. Great place to stay? No. Convenient? Yes.
Close to the airport. Shop online for bargains and special prices. We were lucky to get a good deal!
Its ok... nice people.... some noise from airport; decor showing some age; parking fairly expensive $30 a night. You're stuck buying food but room service is 24/7 ( if only that was the price... :-) $20-$30 =$60 pp plus $10 / drink. breakfast in hotels always $$$ , no different here -paid $30. You can walk to domestic terminal 10mins closer than Holiday inn Ibis quest etc but you're a captive...
Stayed for work over night. The facilities were nice. The breakfast was good. Just some confusion re payment from my company and then required my credit card for payment at check in in addition to $100 hold.

The staff are always fabulous, we’ve stayed several times as the location is great for a weekend in the city with the family. The added touch of free hot chocolate for the kids was a high point for them!
We stayed there for a night to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was very generous with compliments to make my birthday extra special. Indeed, they helped me enjoy my birthday. As per the location, the hotel is just 7-10 minutes walk Central Station. There are several restaurants, cafes and supermarkets nearby. It is short walk from Darling Square and Paddy's Market. In short, very accessible. The...
Hotel is in a great location to my work with convenient parking. Comfortable clean rooms, although I was placed in a room close to the lifts and they were quite loud which kept me up at night. Also in the morning not all the lifts were working and I had to wait 15 minutes for a lift as they were all full. This was at 8am and ended up making me late for the meeting I was in Sydney to attend.
*The staffs are so kind and helpful with your needs. Spacious room, toilet is way too small for a gigantic occupant. *It's a really good location for me as it's just walking distance to nearby activities. *Restaurant is just on the ground floor and you can also order for in-room service for your meal if you're not in the mood to go out.
Nice hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. A key aspect is the rooms are quiet and seemed to have good sound proofing - making for good sleep and privacy. Staff are very professional, enthusiastic and patient. The buffet breakfast has a good range without being ostentatious - highly recommend packaging this into your room booking. Had a pleasant stay in this hotel for my birthday. My room was upgraded and received a card, bottle of rosè, little bag of chocolate. Thank you so much! Will definitely visit again. :)
My wife and I had a 3 night staycation over Easter. We had one of the amazing ocean terrace rooms. Perfectly spacious for a 4 day stay with both indoor and outdoor dining. We love the new look. Positives: - Attentive and approachable staff at the reception - Staff accommodating to guest's needs - Excellent view if staying in the villa / beach view rooms - Practical with amenities and caring with cleanliness in the rooms - Great Breakfast bar with buffet style food. The overall building is fantastic and the courtyard looks like its straight out of Harry Potter. The rooms are fairly basic which was expected for the price but the beds are comfy. The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the shared toilets and showers.

Wonderful place to stay. Received a beautiful and personal welcome email right after I booked. The place and rooms are fantastic. Had an amazing night sleep in a fabulous room. I've never actually stayed overnight at this hotel but I have come here multiple times both with my family and by myself for a drink or for lunch/dinner. The hotel serves the sole purpose of being close to the international departure gate for an early morning exit. Please note, it was still a 45min commute and a $10 ticket on a 3rd party shuttle bus in Sydney traffic at 7:30am for me, so please factor that in! Rooms are to Novotel standard and the breakfast is nice. Room was surprisingly quiet but I packed earplugs just in case. Happy travels!
I really expected more from this hotel because it is a 4 star hotel. I was highly disapointed the toilet leaked through the whole night the water from the shower got all over the bathroom floor as there is only a time shower screen that doesn't cover the whole length of the shower. Room was pretty small but clean at least. We had to buy our own water but the hotel did book a taxi for us. 3 stars at...

I thought that the staff were very hospitable. The rooms were kept very clean and serviced daily. The bed was most comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location for getting around on public transport which was important to us as my husband is not very mobile. I have Coeliac disease but was catered for very well at the breakfast facilities in the dining area.
Staff were pleasant and efficient. The room was very dated and shower rather inconvenient. Our main gripe was that the curtains didn’t fully cover the whole window which was uncomfortable. The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to train and light rail stations. The room is also reasonably clean. However, that’s the extent of the compliments. One of the lamps beside the bed did not work. The toilet was clean but extremely worn, the shower head is low, and the space for the toilet is tiny. The toilet paper is situated behind the toilet. And a great view out the window of...
Older style hotel in a fantastic location, close to bars and restaurant precinct. Small bathroom which had been renovated recently, very comfortable beds with crisp sheets. Set temp on AC was pleasant. There was only one lift functioning in the morning as everyone was trying to checkout, otherwise no problems. Only stayed for 1 night, would stay again for sure.
Pretty good location and decent value for money. Nothing really special about this place but it does everything well. Rooms are a bit old but very clean and employees are very good and professional. Not a bad place to stay if you're traveling on a budget.

My flight landed super early so I left my luggage at the hotel before I could check in. The staff was very nice and helpful. I'm not from Australia so I didn't know you need to out the card in the slot to turn on the lights. Once I figured it out it was a nice stay with no issues. Restaurant attached doesn't stay open super late but is in a walking distance to so many places.
Fantastic location and really friendly staff, even with our little ones running around. Loved the kids recreation room. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and great range, even for little ones.
I’m actually surprised by the latest stay. I thought I’d found a great hotel for all future stays here, I travel a lot. The location is great, service at first stay was great however the service this time round wasn’t so. I called room service and front desk multiple times over a 30 min period with no answer. Room wasn’t cleaned properly. Smears on window and light switches.
Great hotel, great location across from Chinatown and only a 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour but without the Darling Harbour rates. Really nice vibe to the Darling Square area and felt safe. Great kids club with xbox and playstation although perhaps a few more interesting activities would be good as well, but it offers a free and well appointed self serve food and drinks bar for the kids and a phone...
We paid extra for the deluxe room with a city view. We were placed on the third floor and our "view" was a tree, a busy road and the wall of the Chinese garden. Reception were good to amend the situation and put us on the 6th floor. This was apparently an upgrade to the executive suite, but I couldn't tell any difference, perhaps the pod coffee machine? 5 Stars for location and convenience - stayed 2 nights over Christmas for Boxing Day shopping and being able to take purchases back to hotel was priceless! A group of 6 had 3 rooms - great for the price. All were basic, clean and comfy. Staff were helpful.
Good location and the staff at check-in were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and I didn't hear any noise from outside. However, the room and bathroom are very old and in need of an upgrade. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked and the cups in the cupboard weren't clean at all.
