The service in terms of responsiveness and kindness are excellent. Came in a great variety and the quality is good. Although it is a old hotel, the management did a wonderful job to maintain it

Service staff was polite and helpful. Room decor style is simple modern classic, nothing fanciful. Bathroom looks a bit dated but clean. Shower head is fixed to the wall, can't be removed

So happy to get the room with the Opera House view. The room is quite spacious, and reasonable price. I will come back again if I have an opportunity.

There is no rain shower head too. Toiletries were not provided in the room, need to request from front desk

My favourite stay in Sydney, great location and nice amenities, easy access to Circular Quay station.

The service and locations are great

The dim sensor lighting was really good also when getting up to use the bathroom late at night. Room service was quicker than the website ETA all three times and the waiting staff were lovely each time

Great facility, great location, it would be a great stay but your receptionist Ramy has ruined it at the time of the check in. A great thanks to your reservation team who is able to solve the problem whin a few minutes.

Really well located, just 4 blocks from the Opera House. Goods installation, but the swimming pool is not warm enough.

The hotel is located in a good central part of town and walking to most places is easy. The room price was affordable and good value. I would certainly recommend the Amora

Spacious room. Room service menu was ok/good. Lifts are under refurb and need it. Very slow and worn out.

There was hair in the bathroom upon my arrival, all handles were dirty, air vents very dusty, cushions on armchairs dirty and the floor not vacuumed properly. just not good enough for a 5 ☆ hotel

Next to Light Rail Station Bridge St and few mins walk to Metro Station Wydyard. Kind service and big room for family. Arrive at 9am and they allow early check in after a long haul flight arriving early morning

Staff are very professional, enthusiastic and patient. The buffet breakfast has a good range without being ostentatious - highly recommend packaging this into your room booking

The room amenities were good enough for the price we paid for. The only concern was the lift that taking too long to arrive when it was peak hours (like check in/out)

*The staffs are so kind and helpful with your needs. Spacious room, toilet is way too small for a gigantic occupant. *It's a really good location for me as it's just walking distance to nearby activities

Nice hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. A key aspect is the rooms are quiet and seemed to have good sound proofing - making for good sleep and privacy

*Restaurant is just on the ground floor and you can also order for in-room service for your meal if you're not in the mood to go out

The buffet breakfast was a wide spread, even my kids enjoyed it. It's just sad they do not re-heat outside food (for my fussy-eater son) But all in all, we had a wonderful stay. We achieved the goal of relaxing weekend

My wife and I had a 3 night staycation over Easter. We had one of the amazing ocean terrace rooms. Perfectly spacious for a 4 day stay with both indoor and outdoor dining

The local is simply incredible to enjoy the beach, Manly and venture into the city for an explore and shop. One of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I’ve had. I will definitely plan another staycation there

The hotel has just had a refurbishment, very tidy with a good bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Only slight negative, front dest - check in could be better and a bit more friendly

I had difficulty sleeping due to TV noise from my neighbour - If you are driving a SUV, moving your car in the hotel parking can be challenging as it was very narrow. - Not enough parking spaces in the hotel

The hotel ticks a lot of boxes, clean modern rooms, pool and steam room, and in the best location, very central over looking the beach

The best feature that I really appreciate is the free parking. Public transport is also easily accessible. The room is spacious, with a kitchenette and balcony overlooking the park

I have stayed here 3 times since 2020 and have enjoyed the experience each time. The location is unparalleled, it is right in the city, opposite Hyde Park with a convenience store and pharmacy literally next to it

Great centrally located close to all Sydney has to offer, either on foot or by public transport. Lovely spacious and clean room, filled with all the features one would expect in a hotel of this grading

The only improvement is for housekeeping to replenish the shower gel before it gets almost empty as we need to ask them for this to be done. Other than that, the stay was perfect!

This place is wonderful and will be sadly missed by many who have stayed here over the years as it will soon cease to exist. The new development was inevitable I suppose

the air conditioner in the room was not working properly. luckily weather was not too hot. room was old, bed was too soft for my liking. service was good, receptionist was helpful

The reception area now has complimentary coffee for guests which was an absolute life saver. I have always enjoyed my stays here as it is lovely and quiet and most rooms open on to the grassed area near the lake

The room has everything you need if working in a laptop and is well set up with a great shower and shampoo, conditioner and bodywash supplied. Could not fault the service and stay often

Had a change of schedule so called ahead as I needed to find out if I could store a bag there. The receptionist said there were some rooms available now and I was given early access

Parking is limited near reception area but there is plenty of parking behind reception within a short walking distance and is free

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, during our stay, there was ongoing construction work which made it extremely loud, we struggled to get enough sleep

Additionally, we had to use the stairs, but thankfully there were staff members on standby to assist with our luggage, which we really appreciated

Hotel’s lift is under upgrade work and not available to use, construction also going on, very annoying if you stay in hotel on working hour

We were also a bit disappointed that the hotel didn’t inform us about the construction when we made the booking

We had such a good time in this city for sure would come back again if we could and enjoy the food and scenery around us! Not only that our friends and family enjoyed it too! Definitely recommend come and enjoy this place as we did!

My wife and I spent a relaxing weekend at the Pullman Quay Grand where we enjoyed fantastic harbour and spectacular Vivid lights

The hotel is centrally located with short easy strolls to restaurants, Opera House and Botanical Gardens. Special thanks to Omi at reception who warmly welcomed us and ensured our stay was perfect

I hope to go back when certain upgrades have been made to the building and front of house. If everyone acted like Sammy and certain improvements were made then this place would really be special

However, the rooms were dated and some staff were not 5 star. The location of this establishment is amazing. It's minutes from all the sydney sights

I highly recommend the Macleay Hotel for anyone wanting to stay in the Potts Point/Elizabeth Bay area. The staff are really helpful, the room service very good and the location of the Hotel is outstanding

The location is okay and the Hotel is generally clean and good. Veranda size is good. However, there is no washing machine and only 1 toilet/bathroom.

Excellent service! Very nice people - I cannot say enough about their pleasant and kind demeanor. My room was very small, but clean. Very old building, and my window only offered a view of the building next door

Excellent location 10 minutes to the train station close to bus with plenty of eating options and coffee close by

The floor makes noise underfoot, even when trying to walk quietly. Shower offers plenty of hot water at high pressure. The bed was okay - much better than many I have slept on. There is free parking, but limited capacity

Love all the original features in our big room. A pleasure to come back to our room and just chill. minutes by bus from Sydney CDB and a few minutes walk from great redtaurants

The hotels is not bad its an old house converted to a hotel. Not sure why its not a bed and breakfast, maybe because they only have cereal and toast. I had the deluxe room so it was big enough

It's a good place for a short stay. Right in the middle of city and almost on the centre of Sydney action. Rooms are pretty small, but very clean and neat , receptionist have their timings of availablity but courteous

This hotel is a fantastic and surprising gem in the heart of the very hip and happening inner city Potts Point. The room provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay and restful stay

Great for the price, easy walk to the train station and only half a dozen stops to the city. Breakfast was basic, but great that it was included. There was a full kitchen available for guests to use

Quiet area though far from the city if you'd like to be more near the centre. The breakfast for me was fine and has some nice paintings to look at and books to read

There was some noise from the street on a Saturday night and an early morning airplane fly-over that made it a little difficult ( but not impossible) to sleep

We managed to get one of the 3 car parks out the front, but there appears to be ample free on-street parking close by on quieter residential streets

We stayed here for 5 nights early November ’24, check in went smoothly and our rooms were ready early. The rooms were spotless and so was all the other public areas of the building, the cleaning team do an amazing job

I stayed at this hotel for just one night, but it left a great impression. The location couldn't be better - extremely convenient for getting around the city and close to all the main attractions I wanted to visit

Great location, easy to access to George Street, and there is a shops/restaurants arcade next to the building! Building carpark is very secure and convenient ($35 dollar a day with unlimited in & out), highly recommend for staying!!

The room service (cleaning) was not good. They did not clean the coffee cup and refill coffee capsules. The location is walkable to the Central Station. It is easy to walk around for food

It is very close up terminal 2 and it is very quiet. Location is perfect if you are just staying overnight after your flight. The room is very spacious and comfy.

Nice big room with chaise, table and chairs besides the regular king bed and bedsides. Very comfortable and spacious. John was very welcoming at check-in.

Love how this place located, close to train station and eatery. The only downside is the entrance is hidden which made it difficult for Uber to spot

This is the best and most convenient one among the three hotels and apartments I have stayed in Sydney

First of all, the location is very convenient to Broadway, where there are Coles supermarkets and various restaurants, food courts, Kmart, and Target. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport

It is within walking distance of Sydney University. The hygiene is very clean, and the kitchenware, bedding, and bath towels are all cleaned very well

I didn't expect it to be such a nice apartment. I will definitely stay here next time if I have the chance👍
