Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, Sydney1 / 50High rating

Sydney, 199 George Street 🧭 Map
This hotel is the perfect location for a harbour view. Walk to the Opera House, close to the light rail etc. Excellent attentive friendly service from the moment the car pulled up outside. Seamless check-in and check out
The big bus tour station is also just two minutes walk from the hotel. We even got to watch the new year fireworks directly from the comfort of our own hotel room. The room service food was good too
Maintenance of the room was very good. It doesn’t look tired and the bathroom was very clean, even the fixtures looked as good as brand new. Special mention to Jordan from the Mode restaurant
Straight after we checked in and went out for the night we came back to a bucket of ice in our room and slippers next to the bed and the water pulled forward next to the bed and our pillows set up nicely
We had such a wonderful stay over 10 nights at four seasons Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic! You can walk to almost all the touristy and shopping spots in the city
And the front door and valet staff we super friendly and accommodating. Thankyou for such great service guys. Highly recommend and super close to the rocks and transport and great restaurants

The evening food and drink options were always good and served as our dinner 8 of 9 nights. The location was amazing, only a five minute walk to the Circular Quay and the ferries, trains, trams and buses
We went to a performance at the Sydney Opera House which was less than a 15 minute walk away. The Concierge staff gave excellent suggestions and was always helpful
To be Marriott, I would have expected better since it’s a very big and popular chain around the world. But the position it is in is the best. It really is and I really recommend it
The hotel itself isn’t the best. The location is absolutely great and in a fantastic spot. Also, the lounge and breakfast area was very welcoming. The elevators are EXTREMELY slow
Although a room was not available, we were given keys to an early arrival suite. We were able to take showers and change clothes, then stored our luggage at reception
This hotel and its staff was impeccable! Daniel at the front desk was incredibly friendly and had a wealth of knowledge to share about where to visit and what to see

I enjoyed a few drinks in the reasonably priced lobby bar with complementary nuts, its a good meeting spot. My room was well appointed with an exceptional bath room and a bed fit for weary travelers
Well located and views to die for. The new bar on level 35 delivers some of the best views in Sydney. Its a bit further to walk to the city but this is outweighed by the fact the hotel is amazing
We stayed on the Easter weekend and were treated to an amazing fireworks show at Darling Harbour. We went up to the swimming pool on level 4, a great location to view the fireworks show. Always a pleasure to stay here
My welcome was warm and personal as usual. My room was on the 19th floor with amazing views of Darling Harbour. The hotel is very close and within walking distance to many restaurants and the Sydney Conference Centre
The food was delicious! There was a big variety of food at the breakfast buffet. The pool view was spectacular. The hotel was child friendly and the staff were so friendly and professional
We decided to go to Sofitel for a little getaway with our 3 year old daughter. What an amazing experience it was. The view was phenomenal, I even woke for the sunrise view

The window is the best place to be to see the view while enjoying chilli prawns, fresh oysters and a great selection of wines in the Executive Lounge
This hotel is fabulous! The people are kind and go out of there way to make you feel welcome! Daniela took the extra time to help us come up with a plan for our time in Sydney! The Taft in the club room greeted you with a smile and cheerfulness that made you excited to be there! The food in the club area was also beautiful and tasty! Thank you for making our stay so magical! We were sad to leave!
Another huge disappointment was the credit card surcharge (adding Approx $90 to the bill) Overall a good experience but unsure if I would return due to value for money
The view of the park is phenomenal…I can look out the window all day. I also love the location as it is close to CBD, but feels like a world apart thanks to the proximity to Hyde Park
A friend recommended the Sheraton Grand after they’ve stayed a few times. So far I’ve enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room is nice, plenty of outlets for various devices
There are a lot of great food options in the area so it’s not a negative for me, but wanted to mention it for people that like to eat regularly at the hotel

Very good sized larger than usual hotel rooms
There was hair in the bathroom upon my arrival, all handles were dirty, air vents very dusty, cushions on armchairs dirty and the floor not vacuumed properly. just not good enough for a 5 ☆ hotel
Beautiful room, very clean & tidy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the views, and it was so close to everything! Right near the light rail, buses, & Wynyard station
We'd definitely choose to stay again
Bedding very comfortable, accommodation was a little rundown outdated furniture pieces, carpets definitely needs a changing or vacuuming all corners and under bedding frame, u can see layers of dust piling up on the non trafficked areas
Bathroom airy and bright with a fantastic view towards Barangaroo Crown tower. Service for checking in was so busy 😫 because all the only 2 service attendees were flat out

The updates made to the hotel are lovely, certainly improving the quality. We stayed in a Harbour view room and have no complaints. Large room, separate bedroom with a large balcony and nice view
Recently, my husband and I stayed at the Star Grand Hotel on the 7/2/23. We took a premium suite package, which included Harvest Buffet buffet breakfast, parking and a $50 dinner voucher
This was meant to celebrate a special personal event. I was a bit apprehensive as I did read up the reviews of the Star Grand Hotel before coming and they did not paint a welcoming staff picture
It took our breath away! This was in such stark contrast of the reviews of the service I had read in the reviews. Dita was such a pleasure checking us in
What was the most amazing thing was the view - we had a view of Darling Harbour and Port Jackson and it was just beautiful! My heartfelt thanks to Dita, which made me feel very special and made our stay a joy! Thank you Dita!
When she found out it was our first stay at the Star and that we took the package to celebrate a special event, she upgraded us to a much grander room

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. Great location in the heart of the city and close to shopping
The dark chocolate fondue for dessert was excellent. Limited covers, but did not seem too busy
Room is modern, service is good & fast, the location is convenience with short walk to train station & 800m to circular quay. Breakfast is variety and good quality .
One of the best and most affordable hotels I've been. This was a mystery deal and they gave us a massive room with amazing bed and bathroom.
Our stay was wonderful! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious! The validated parking was tremendous value! A very enjoyable time was had!
I only ate at the fondue restaurant here. A great range of dipping meats, veg and breads and a superb fonue dip. Several different flavoured fondues with different cheeses

It's one of those hotels that corporate or business people uses for when travelling for work. What surprised me, was that the TV had access to downloaded movies and shows of all genres. Was a good library of choices
Stayed here many times and haven't given a review. It's been a positive experience for me as the rooms are always clean and presentable, small but comfortable. Nice bathroom and very centrally located. Friendly staff.
Front desk staff was very courteous and accommodating; went above and beyond to help me locate a lost item. Hotel is walking distance to many, many points of interest. Room was small but nicely appointed
Hotel will hold your bags, which is very helpful for a later departure. We were able to enjoy downtown Sydney a bit more and go out for a late lunch before leaving later in the afternoon
The team are so friendly, the room has everything you could possibly need. Step outside and youre walking distance to everything. The bed was comfy and was quiet to sleep
I think courteous behaviour could be improved by the staff. Location was excellent though. Overall we probably wouldn’t stay here again when in Sydney

Excellent location and attentive service by the hotel staff. Short walk to China town and Paddy's market. Rooms are spacious and there is convenient parking for guests at the attached car park
We stayed there for a night to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was very generous with compliments to make my birthday extra special. Indeed, they helped me enjoy my birthday
The room amenities were good enough for the price we paid for. The only concern was the lift that taking too long to arrive when it was peak hours (like check in/out)
*The staffs are so kind and helpful with your needs. Spacious room, toilet is way too small for a gigantic occupant. *It's a really good location for me as it's just walking distance to nearby activities
Nice hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. A key aspect is the rooms are quiet and seemed to have good sound proofing - making for good sleep and privacy
*Restaurant is just on the ground floor and you can also order for in-room service for your meal if you're not in the mood to go out

Once again the Pullman never fails to deliver! With the FIFAWWC2023, AFL and Cirque du Soleil happening we sadly couldn’t get a room and had to stay at another Accor hotel, but you can never go past the Pullman for breakfast, and they delivered! Nothing was an issue and Ines was so attentive and amazing
Thanks Pullman for capping off a great weekend
The rooms are of a high enough quality, but are now starting to show their age a little. The air conditioning in the room also doesn't seem to be as efficient as we have had in other hotels
When we enquired about this, we were told that the membership was only showing silver on their system. It was like it knew about the platinum membership for some things and not for others
The staff are usually very friendly and are happy to help in all situations. I can recommend the buffet breakfast, as the food seems to be of high quality and very fresh
I was travelling with a platinum Accor member and when we checked in, we weren't given any information about the benefits that the platinum membership should give us

Great Pool on Top floor with Amazing 360 degree views of Sydney!! Staff are Amazing, great size rooms with Excellent Views. Bar 36 on Ground floor is great for pre Drinks!!!
I took the kids for first time staying hotel experience. We all love the Pullman Hype Park. Parking underground was so convenient and reasonable price. Swimming pool was little bit cold and small but it was lovely view
Comfy bed, good views (not referring to the St Kilda footy boys who were staying there. but that was sweet as also) and sweet staff
Kids kept asking to go back again. We will be back again 110% for sure. Thank you for our great experience
Comfortable rooms and bed with a great view and lovely staff and service :) We stayed over the New Year and were surprised with welcome drink vouchers on arrival, a lovely bottle of Prosecco and mini desserts in our room
So thoughtful! We loved having a nice bathtub in our room and access to a 24/hr jacuzzi. There’s also a beautiful park nearby

This is the best hotel in Sydney by far. High floor rooms, and incredibly well maintained bedrooms and lounge areas. The location is pretty good, the closest station being Mascot about a 8 minute walk from the hotel
This is such a nice hotel, surprisingly good for an airport hotel. Parking is relatively convenient, even though you have to go through 1 lift to get out of car park and 1 to get into hotel
We went for dinner oh my gosh there was this lady named Jen, she took good care of us. This is definitely a place to be. I know where I'm going to stay when I travel internationally
The Canapes are served in the restraunt which has good food. Fitness centre and pool are both provided and they will live up to your expectations
It makes it easier for vegetarians. Very good breakfast options including options for kids
Ordered in room dining and tell you what, food was delicious. It looked good and it tasted good

location (not surprising), ease of access, front of house staff were excellent, cocktail on arrival is a nice touch, rooms were quiet, bed was comfortable.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 7 nights here. PERFECT place to be during a visit to Sydney for leisure OR work. I didn’t like the loud vacuuming each morning in the restaurant. I wasn’t impressed with the dinner menu selections
A hidden gem of Sydney! A lovely hotel in such a great location and only a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Circular Quay and the CBD. Rooms were great and the welcome drink on check in was a nice touch
Staff was amazing and had our room ready when we arrived at 10 a. from our international flight which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast each day was delicious and beautiful view of the harbor
We had one of the Drive & Stay packages, but were treated like we'd booked one of the top of the range suites. Now that's the sign of a quality establishment
Have just had a very memorable stay with Pier One Sydney. So much to love, including the room, location, bed, staff, cleanliness and breakfast

We stayed here for 5 nights early November ’24, check in went smoothly and our rooms were ready early. The rooms were spotless and so was all the other public areas of the building, the cleaning team do an amazing job
The beds are super comfortable, you really sleep very well. The location is optimal, very central and everything is within walking distance. The spa is also great, there is a sauna and a jacuzzi
Stayed in a Studio Deluxe suite and it was absolutely lovely. Only thing I can fault is that the cutlery in the room was dirty. No dishwashing liquid in the room to even clean the dishes
There were power points and USB ports at both sides of the bed, set at an easily accessible height. The hot water took a bit of time to arrive at the tap, but was good and consistent. Staff were friendly and helpful
) Location is good with many places to eat very close, supermarket nearby, good public transport and major shopping centres only a short walk away - from about 50 metres along Kent Street you can enter Town Hall Square and access, all undercover, Town Hall Station, the Queen Victoria Building and Westfield
Only thing I would adjust is the lighting in our room 2707. It needed a few more lights in the main area between the bed and the TV as it was a patch of darkness there. Apart from that was a great stay here!

The furnishing and décor of the accommodation appealed to my taste. It was our first time attending Night at The Barracks and we were not disappointed. It was a great spot, easy to walk and find nice places to eat.
Large TV, once connected could use your phone or tablet to watch 7 plus etc. Follow the instructions how to connect. View of the ocean was so good & fresh air was a wow factor
And don't miss out on trying the spicy margarita at 55 North Bar – it's a wow-worthy experience! Absolutely, Tokyo Jo deserves its own review. Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable, with so much to offer
The open buffet had a wide variety of options, and the fact that kids dine for free was a bonus. I must also commend the reception staff for their helpfulness and constant smiles, even during busy times
The hotel's facilities are impressive, from the bar and restaurants to the pool bar, lounge and spa with an ocean view. I'd like to highlight Bisto Manly, where the staff was super friendly
Always had great bones, the refurb is exceptional! Great food & beverage offering, the addition of the roof top pool is fabulous and all staff encounters were personable and attentive

Beautiful architecture! The hotel rooms are always immaculate, comfortable and value for money. The roof top bar and pool are always lots of fun too! Highly recommend this hotel if visiting Sydney
The hotel looks more grand than what the photos show. The room are specious, clean and new. There are a lot of bench space which is really useful. The room has all the basic amenities you need
The bed is really comfy with premium linen and choices of pillows. The hotel gave us a nice treat for our trip. The bathroom is modern and clean
Rooftop is a great addition and we have used for birthday gatherings before (great in summer). Very friendly and helpful staff
The rooftop bar is good for a social gathering but could benefit from more shade for daytime events. The cocktail menu is varied but pricey, and the wine list is quite limited

Fantastic stay, affordable, breakfast was amazing, rooms and hotel are spotless and modern, beds very comfy, selection of firm soft labelled pillows, staff are really friendly
Great experience, comfortable bed. Attentive staff, breakfast could have been better but we paid $150 for a queen room so the fact breakfast was included was great
It would be good to have hash browns as a vegetarian option for the hot food
Richard on the front desk was particularly helpful and upbeat - great service team!
Hotel had basement parking however, there were issues using the boom gate to access the car park 9 out of 10 times. Special thankyou to chef for arranging hash browns on special request
Location of the hotel was nice but it was lacking the standard IHG quality. There was definitely room for improvement. Some staff members were extremely friendly other were very rude

He offered excellent recommendations, ensured all my needs were met, and made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel's amenities were fantastic, and the overall ambiance was incredibly welcoming
Only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom was a tad small and you could see in to the shower and toilet from the main bed area. Water pressure great, air con on point and will stay again!
Great service and location! Easy access to the city and museum station and Surry Hills and food. Hotel has had a huge makeover and the vibe is next level. Rooms are very modern and fun
If you're looking for a memorable stay with exceptional service, I highly recommend ADGE Hotel. Thanks again to Patrick and the entire team for making my visit so enjoyable!

Attended a Sunday High Tea in the Whisky Bar. Nice environment, good service. Only negative, they don't make cocktails which we had asked for to toast a special occasion. Nice place to meet and chat. Quiet.
A beautiful old style hotel with plenty of charm and character. Would highly recommend staying here especially if you are boarding a Ship at Circular Quay as the Hotel is in walking distance
By far one of the most impressive accommodations we have stayed in, from the comfort of the room to the exceptional service given. Fay at reception was exceptional
