Have been to this hotel twice. The service in terms of responsiveness and kindness are excellent. The breakfast was great. Came in a great variety and the quality is good. Although it is a old hotel, the management did a wonderful job to maintain it. The service and locations are great.
My favourite stay in Sydney, great location and nice amenities, easy access to Circular Quay station.
Overall better than Melbourne one but have to say the room cleaning services was bad. I’ve left one toothpaste stain on mirror, it’s not removed. When I was searching for something on the floor, I’ve found one slipper left under my (bed) - no idea the poor slipper was left there for how long 😒 The hotel is old but charging a 5-Stars price… definitely not worth the price That said, front desk staff...
The location is perfect, near restaurant halal, near station n port of cruise... Will be back if I go to sydney next time
So happy to get the room with the Opera House view. The room is quite spacious, and reasonable price. I will come back again if I have an opportunity.
Location is excellent. Service staff was polite and helpful. Room decor style is simple modern classic, nothing fanciful. Bathroom looks a bit dated but clean. Shower head is fixed to the wall, can't be removed. There is no rain shower head too. Toiletries were not provided in the room, need to request from front desk.

We had a really lovely time here. They gave us complimentary cake and champagne for our wedding day. It made me and my husband feel apprecited and valued. The view was truly spectacular.
Location: Decent, but not as convenient as expected—especially with the steep slope nearby. Food: Limited variety in dining options. View: Stunning! From 33 floor, Harbour Bridge and Opera House views were the highlight. ✨ Parking: Pricey at $65 (casual) / $105 (per day). Overall: 4/5 stars – Great stay with amazing views, though some areas could improve.
Great experience! The girl who checked me in was very friendly and professional. Damon at the bell desk took care of the luggage as I had arrived early. Overall great stay!
Can't fault our stay! The best accommodation we've ever had in Sydney and extremely good value for money.
Disappointed to know that the king size bed was actually too single beds combined together with a thin layer of “protection” above the sheets. I could still feel the separation of the bed underneath, which was uncomfortable during rest time. The bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. I like firm beds/pillows. Even though I had requested a few other firm pillows from the menu pillow amenities, the...

Great location, great pool and jacuzzi, will definitely go there again.
They ran out of the room, but provided a big room with a roller bed. Not to bad. The pool is a bit small, especially for the busy season, it was crowded.
Location is a bit far from restaurant, or bars and cafes.
Next to Light Rail Station Bridge St and few mins walk to Metro Station Wydyard. Kind service and big room for family. Arrive at 9am and they allow early check in after a long haul flight arriving early morning. View is good.
Everything amazing. But the breakfast could have more international options.
I have issues with the concierge and every time that I have to contact you

When I have international suppliers staying I accommodate them here. Easy walking to everything for all tastes. It’s also near great food hubs. Best of all easy to collect them from the hotel. Don’t arrive after 10pm. They lock the doors and annoying to find someone to open up.
5 Stars for location and convenience - stayed 2 nights over Christmas for Boxing Day shopping and being able to take purchases back to hotel was priceless! A group of 6 had 3 rooms - great for the price. All were basic, clean and comfy. Staff were helpful.
Good location and the staff at check-in were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and I didn't hear any noise from outside. However, the room and bathroom are very old and in need of an upgrade. The room wasn't as clean as I would have liked and the cups in the cupboard weren't clean at all.
Clean, cheap and cheerful accomodation just off Martin Place, Sydney
The staff was so polite and usefull. Help me with all I need and made easy my time on Travel lodge.
Lovely place in the cbd of Sydney. Easy to get anywhere from here. Struggled to find a bottle shop close by but there's a supermarket not far. I would stay again.
Perfect location just steps away from train stations, ferries, and Opera House. Very friendly staff and an early check in.

Great facility, great location, it would be a great stay but your receptionist Ramy has ruined it at the time of the check in. A great thanks to your reservation team who is able to solve the problem whin a few minutes.
Service was good. Managed to get a room before standard check in time. Nice view from the room.
Very convenient to go anywhere especially the fish market, many restaurants nearby.
I would definitely stay here again. The staff were amazing and the pool area was fantastic especially the outdoor spa.
Excellent service, best location for public transport thank you!😀
the staff were not aware of their hotel and surrounding areas- i was sent in the wrong direction and no one mention my sons special birthday despite saying something three times it really wasn’t the right hotel

Friendly and helpful staff along with very clean and comfortable room made for a restful and relaxing albeit brief stay. Will stay again on next trip through Sydney. Thanks
I don't normally give bad comments but the Stamford Plaza was not a good experience. The room was old and very dated. The thing that was the worst for me was the bathroom. It was not clean at all and there was a big lot of hair on the wall in the shower which just shows that there is no attention to detail like a so called 5 star hotel should. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport 2 weeks before...
The hotel is lovely; however, the restaurant needs improvement. It is widely believed that the restaurant has poor ventilation, which led to the arrival of the fire truck. Additionally, the restaurant staff could benefit from better English proficiency and guidance.
Nice hotel, beds comfortable, food in boca restaurant was good, very tasty and good portions. 10 to 15 min walk to train station, which are cheap and relatively easy to use .
Clean comfortable room. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Prompt room service. Easy location to the train station , 2 stops, and you're at Sydney Central. If you're on an early morning flight, i.e., before 6.30, use an Uber otherwisethe provided shuttlebus is a great resource.
Ice machines broken on every floor, took an hour to have ice delivered to our room. Light globe not working in the sitting area of the room. The room seemed quite tired.

The staff are always fabulous, we’ve stayed several times as the location is great for a weekend in the city with the family. The added touch of free hot chocolate for the kids was a high point for them!
We stayed there for a night to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was very generous with compliments to make my birthday extra special. Indeed, they helped me enjoy my birthday. As per the location, the hotel is just 7-10 minutes walk Central Station. There are several restaurants, cafes and supermarkets nearby. It is short walk from Darling Square and Paddy's Market. In short, very accessible. The...
Hotel is in a great location to my work with convenient parking. Comfortable clean rooms, although I was placed in a room close to the lifts and they were quite loud which kept me up at night. Also in the morning not all the lifts were working and I had to wait 15 minutes for a lift as they were all full. This was at 8am and ended up making me late for the meeting I was in Sydney to attend.
*The staffs are so kind and helpful with your needs. Spacious room, toilet is way too small for a gigantic occupant. *It's a really good location for me as it's just walking distance to nearby activities. *Restaurant is just on the ground floor and you can also order for in-room service for your meal if you're not in the mood to go out.
Nice hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. A key aspect is the rooms are quiet and seemed to have good sound proofing - making for good sleep and privacy. Staff are very professional, enthusiastic and patient. The buffet breakfast has a good range without being ostentatious - highly recommend packaging this into your room booking. My wife and I had a 3 night staycation over Easter. We had one of the amazing ocean terrace rooms. Perfectly spacious for a 4 day stay with both indoor and outdoor dining. We love the new look. Positives: - Attentive and approachable staff at the reception - Staff accommodating to guest's needs - Excellent view if staying in the villa / beach view rooms - Practical with amenities and caring with cleanliness in the rooms - Great Breakfast bar with buffet style food. Great centrally located close to all Sydney has to offer, either on foot or by public transport. Lovely spacious and clean room, filled with all the features one would expect in a hotel of this grading. Staff were friendly and informative.
Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable and we had a view over Hyde park. Which was very nice as compared to elsewhere where your view is looking at other highrise buildings. We found the location was easy to get to light rail, train and buses. Overall we were very happy.

My flight landed super early so I left my luggage at the hotel before I could check in. The staff was very nice and helpful. I'm not from Australia so I didn't know you need to out the card in the slot to turn on the lights. Once I figured it out it was a nice stay with no issues. Restaurant attached doesn't stay open super late but is in a walking distance to so many places.
Fantastic location and really friendly staff, even with our little ones running around. Loved the kids recreation room. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and great range, even for little ones.
I’m actually surprised by the latest stay. I thought I’d found a great hotel for all future stays here, I travel a lot. The location is great, service at first stay was great however the service this time round wasn’t so. I called room service and front desk multiple times over a 30 min period with no answer. Room wasn’t cleaned properly. Smears on window and light switches.
Great hotel, great location across from Chinatown and only a 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour but without the Darling Harbour rates. Really nice vibe to the Darling Square area and felt safe. Great kids club with xbox and playstation although perhaps a few more interesting activities would be good as well, but it offers a free and well appointed self serve food and drinks bar for the kids and a phone...
We paid extra for the deluxe room with a city view. We were placed on the third floor and our "view" was a tree, a busy road and the wall of the Chinese garden. We love this hotel so much as it is very convenient and accessible to all such as restaurants. And the station is just around the corner. Perfect location!
My room was very small, and I was unable to fully unpack my baggage.
I had an amazing stay! Argelie and Sabin were absolutely incredible—so warm, helpful, and professional. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was spotless, the service was excellent, and their smiles made my day. I truly appreciate their kindness and dedication. Highly recommend!
Is nice and quiet clean, is good for one night stay for one person or couple. Also is cheaper than other hotels in CBD , can save money for your travel.
Location is great, nearby many restaurants & shops that open til late in Sydney. Amenities are complete and they have all you need (dental kit upon request, microwave at lobby). The family room is incredibly small though, so if you have big luggages, it will be challenging.

Location was not too bad. Really thin walls was able to hear other people talking outside, door shutting, and when the lift arrive at your lvl it will play a sound and that disturb my sleep, in house guess parking could be cheeper, washing machine is abit dusty after wash cloths was still dusty
Good location, only 5 mins walk to Chinatown tram stop, 8 mins walk to Museum train station. It locates in the city heart 👍🏻. Nice and kind staff. Hotel room is clean. Only if you hang the service card outside the door, room service will clean your room at your preferred time. Air-con works well. Do recommend Ibis syd to friends.

Traveling with friends, we booked two rooms. The hotel is relatively clean. You can take the subway from the airport to the hotel and transfer to another one. The hotel is about 700 meters away from the station. The hotel is convenient to Sydney Opera House and Chinatown. It is a good choice.
The location is okay and the Hotel is generally clean and good. Veranda size is good. However, there is no washing machine and only 1 toilet/bathroom.
Great value, service and location, nice bathroom. Slightly dated electricals and room decor but everything is in full working order and clean so continues to be a great option in Potts Point

Love how this place located, close to train station and eatery. The only downside is the entrance is hidden which made it difficult for Uber to spot
People there are nice! The lift at the main entrance is not obvious we have to carry our luggage up the steps. Hotel should indicate clearly so that customers can make good use of the lift instead of carrying heavy luggage through stairs
Great stopover. Plenty of quality restaurants and major chain stores. 2 min walk to major shopping centre. Short taxi run to harbour Spacious apartment. All you need. Comfortable bed clean amenities Spotless Very friendly and accommodating. Nothing too hard

Newly renovated apartment, great location. No breakfast, the pool is semi-outdoor and a bit cold.
Everything has been perfect.  Brand new renovated.
Just few mins to town hall..good location
The staffs are nice and helpful.
Very good location. Will definitely come back again.
Close to tourist attractions in Sydney, with convenient facilities. Although it is old decoration, it is not offensive.
