Sydney, 30 Pitt Street 🧭 Map
Location, location, location. Everything close at hand. The hotel was beautiful. Staff very helpful.
We recently had a nine night stay using only Bon Voyage points. Soon after arrival we knew we made the right choice. We arrived at 9 am after a red eye flight. Although a room was not available, we were given keys to an early arrival suite. We were able to take showers and change clothes, then stored our luggage at reception.
The room was great, with a view of the Opera House and harbor. The Executive...
The hotel itself isn’t the best. The location is absolutely great and in a fantastic spot. Also, the lounge and breakfast area was very welcoming. The elevators are EXTREMELY slow. I had to wait around 10 minutes for one to arrive which is also a big safety hazard. The breakfast buffet was rather miserable. I asked three times for a cappuccino until finally it arrived. The waiters weren’t professional...
This hotel and its staff was impeccable! Daniel at the front desk was incredibly friendly and had a wealth of knowledge to share about where to visit and what to see. Daniel was a great first impression - Marriott is lucky to have him. The executive lounge was also impressive - a very large spread for breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend.
Rooms and the hotel structure are all aged and a bit tired. A bed with peaks and valleys may not comfort you enough to sleep through the night. You will experience slow lifts that randomly reset themselves refusing to take you to your floor. Also, calling a lift takes forever. The hotel management should open the staircases for everyone. It would be quicker to walk down 15 floors than wait for an overloaded...
From arrival to departure I felt all staff where attentive and extremely helpful when the need arose to make enquires. Room was very comfortable and beds where extremely comfortable, location was great and made travelling around city very easy

Sydney, 12 Darling Drive 🧭 Map
My welcome was warm and personal as usual. My room was on the 19th floor with amazing views of Darling Harbour. The hotel is very close and within walking distance to many restaurants and the Sydney Conference Centre. I enjoyed a few drinks in the reasonably priced lobby bar with complementary nuts, its a good meeting spot. My room was well appointed with an exceptional bath room and a bed fit for...
What an amazing hotel. Well located and views to die for. The new bar on level 35 delivers some of the best views in Sydney.
Its a bit further to walk to the city but this is outweighed by the fact the hotel is amazing.
Go to the champagne bar for a pre dinner drink then the restaurant for dinner.
We decided to go to Sofitel for a little getaway with our 3 year old daughter. What an amazing experience it was. The view was phenomenal, I even woke for the sunrise view. The food was delicious! There was a big variety of food at the breakfast buffet. The pool view was spectacular. The hotel was child friendly and the staff were so friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again!
We have stayed at this hotel several times. Amazing location with great views (either harbour or Anzac bridge views). The hotel is modern, clean and well-maintained, and has friendly staff. We stayed on the Easter weekend and were treated to an amazing fireworks show at Darling Harbour. We went up to the swimming pool on level 4, a great location to view the fireworks show. Always a pleasure to stay...
Another amazing visit to Sofitel Darling Harbour. The views from this hotel are mind-blowing. The executive lounge is magnificent. Thank you, Yen, for your smiling face. And Naomi for seeing i needed help with opening things. It was very much appreciated. Staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful. Gabriela at Antilier was such a friendly and knowledgeable waitress, and her recommendations on...
The service was exceptional as always, with the staff going above and beyond. They were always attentive to my needs and requests.
My room was spacious, modern, and beautifully appointed with luxurious amenities and an abundance of natural sunlight. The bed was so comfortable, with the option for a customized pillow. The highlight of my room, however, was the stunning view of the harbor, which was...

Great location in the centre. A few minutes walk from Circular Quay but tucked away so not noisy.
Generous gesture of treats to the room from the concierge after our long journey. Instantly lifted our mood!
The place was clean, staff super friendly, great location, great room! Brittney/Nicole went above and beyond, as did the other staff. Best stay in Sydney!
Absolutely LOVED staying at Establishment Hotel 😍🙌🏻💯 The room was amazing - HUGE, so well proportioned & comfortable with everything at your fingertips 🤗 DELICIOUS room service, with catering from the UNREAL Mr Wong restaurant 😋 Truly OUTSTANDING service from ALL staff, but especially have to mention the concierge as they were absolutely HEAVEN 🤩🙏🏻 Will DEFINITELY be back, thank you so much 💛
I'm honestly really surprised by some of the reviews saying this hotel was 'dirty'. We just finished a 2 night stay and were delighted with the room and service! The rooms are cozy and large with beautiful bathroom ammenities. The staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfast (which was included with our room) was delicious! Would absolutely recommend and will be staying again!
In terms of location, you can't beat the Establishment Hotel in Sydney's Central Business District. The design style is sleek/modern.
It is the most convenient in terms of proximity to all public transit (trains, buses, and ferries).
For a five star hotel, however, I expected a slightly more new feel to the rooms. The carpet was clearly a bit worn. The hotel itself would be perfect for a young professional...

Great location and that's all we liked. For $380 a night the room was small, closed 2 meters by 1.5 meters window over looking harbor. We had to ask for extra coffee, milk and sugar. No expresso coffee by the way. Even after asking we didn't get extra milk. Had to leave a note to fill up the body wash and shampoo.
Great views of the harbor. The rooms are a little on a smaller size but reasonable. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast is awesome -pretty much anything you can think of having for breakfast. The service was good. We arrived very early and got a room within an hour. We loved the location. The harbor, ferry, and lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The city center is...
This was probably the best hotel stay I've had in my life. The staff were extremely accommodating and even went the distance to become "tour guides" for us, giving us GREAT ideas for walking/ seeing the city. On top of that, their breakfast spread was second to none, with the LARGEST assortment of options I have EVER seen for a hotel. If you have the option, make sure breakfast is included, you won...
UPDATE: Three staff members came and tended to the previous mentioned issues. They were all extremely kind and even hand brushed scrubbed the tile in the shower. We deeply appreciate the willingness of the Hyatt to rectify the situation and help our final night be a clean and peaceful one.
The rooms are small but the views we have overlooking the Darling Harbour have offered some enjoyment. Room service...
Revised review 2: I have to compliment the management and staff at the Hyatt Regency Sydney for listening to their customers feedback. Sincere efforts to make changes and an immediate difference in service is rare these days. I will be sad to leave when I head to the Melbourne Hyatt for the next leg of my journey. Thanks to all for your efforts. (for reference, I have upgraded from a 2, 4, then 5 star...
Rooms are nice and clean and the location is convenient. Plenty to do and see within walking distance. Only about a 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour.
Service is great and quick.
There's also a beautiful bar on the rooftop with a 180 view of the harbour so that's worth seeing (free entry).
Only downfall is that there's no pool, but not a major issue :)

Absolutely enjoyed my stay. The staff were very professional and I was looked after so well.
My rooms was a harbour view room and it was beautiful. Very spacious and comfortable beds. The room was be very clean and the bathroom was very spacious as well with a large bath.
The food was amazing. Slightly expensive, however, it was worth every cent.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking...
Nice hotel in an excellent position just by The Rocks area of Sydney where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Easy access to all of the main sights.
The rooms are large for a city hotel and very comfortable. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We had room only so didn’t experience the restaurant. Would recommend this hotel.
Stayed for the location, but it’s so much better than just that with a wonderful view from the restaurant (and the room), staff, fitness center, and room.
Spacious rooms, well done bathroom, a huge gym, decent looking pool, spa, and lots of common areas. Getting to the hotel is a bit of an uphill walk but you can avoid the stairs by approaching from the left side and it’s just a few blocks to the...
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely stunning and we had the most amazing view.
We had cocktails at the top floor bar which were delicious and had the most amazing view of the harbour and city.
The only suggestion for improvements is the decor of the bar could do to be updated slightly.
I highly recommend a visit for both visitors or someone looking for a nice staycation.
What can I say, if you can spend the extra, the Grand Harbour Rooms will leave an everlasting memory. Its worth every dollar.
Big thanks to Charlie and his valet staff in valet parking. Your warmth is wonderful. And also thank you Eric, you did all you could to give us the best room available. Thank you.
My husband and I were celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary. The Shangri-La Sydney staff went above and beyond. InterContinental Sydney, an IHG Hotel
Sydney, Corner of Phillip and Bridge Streets 🧭 Map
The staff were excellent. The rooms are very comfortable, has everything you could need. Great location.
After a break of many years, we recently returned and had a great stay. The hotel has been tastefully refurbished but still has an old world charm.
Checked out the rooftop bar on level 32 which was fantastic. Great views.
The room was well appointed and comfortable. The main draw is the location of the property - almost right on Circular Quay and a short walk to the Opera House and The Rocks....
You pay for what you get. In this instance, the cost reflects quality and the expectations of a 5 star hotel. Beautiful rooms and charming foyer/reception area. Cannot remember what it was like prior to renovations but either way, this hotel chain has always been one of exceptional customer service and overall client experience.
I've noticed people complaining about the views - seriously? Walk 5 minutes...
It’s somehow sad to leave this fantastic hotel. I suppose we came right time after the renovation. We started at level 28 and we loved the view. The breakfast was presented as one of the best levels we had seen before even though the service and the menu can be improved but we liked the experience in total. The roof bar is a must and the location was the best we could imagine. We will be back 😉
I love love this hotel! I have stayed there for 3 nights and it gave me homey vibes! The renovated rooms are fantastic and the shampoo/body lotions smells AMAZING! The location is the best part as it’s only a couple of minutes walk to the opera house! The view and service is impeccable! I cannot wait to stay at the intercontinental again!
This is a lovely hotel, where we have stayed several times. It's normally quiet, well appointed, and has nice extras like a pool on the 31st floor with a spectacular view over the harbour. It's in a great position, near the CBD and the Botanical Gardens. Only regret is that we don't get to stay there more often!

The Sofitel Wentworth has an excellent location in central Sydney within easy walking distance of Circular Quay and Pitt St Mall. It adds a little extra something when the staff greet you in French!
Hotel had a great location since it was near the tram and if you want some exercise, you can walk towards Circular Quay where the Sydney Opera house is located. Staff are very attentive and they always clean your room and provide you fresh set of towels.
I would like to commend, James the Duty Manager on the weekend of July 22, who was very accommodating to our requests.
Our 2 weeks stay in the hotel...
No windows in the room so was a bit stuffy. Sign in desk were not very helpful or friendly however desk where we put our luggage to store for the day were lovely. Bit disappointing overall for an up market and expensive hotel.
While the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth might not boast the most updated facilities, it delivers a classic charm that can't be found in modern establishments. Despite its vintage architecture, the accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained.
The hotel's real gems are its staff members. They were consistently kind, professional, and accommodating, making my stay remarkably pleasant. Their exemplary...
Front of house were so courteous and friendly, from the concierge to reception. We upgraded to room overlooking the lovely Chiefly Square Garden Courtyard (complimentary). The room was immaculately appointed, with a king size bed; unfortunately the big screen TV didn't have reception. Location is perfect, a minute's walk from Wynyard St and across the road from a Starbucks. A short walk to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Harbour. Really nice location.
Room was clean and spacious too.
Buffet breakfast was delicious.
Staff is very efficient and attentive. However, aside from the fact that the rooms are in bad need of renovating, cleanliness is lacking, attention to detail is just non existent. There was hair in the bathroom upon my arrival, all handles were dirty, air vents very dusty, cushions on armchairs dirty and the floor not vacuumed properly....just not good enough for a 5 ☆ hotel.
Beautiful room, very clean & tidy. Lovely bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the views, and it was so close to everything! Right near the light rail, buses, & Wynyard station. Lots within walking distance. We'd definitely choose to stay again.
Very good sized larger than usual hotel rooms.
Bedding very comfortable, accommodation was a little rundown outdated furniture pieces, carpets definitely needs a changing or vacuuming all corners and under bedding frame, u can see layers of dust piling up on the non trafficked areas. Bathroom airy and bright with a fantastic view towards Barangaroo Crown tower.
Service for checking in was so busy ...
Good 5 star hotel, which, however, would be even better if some of the rooms would be renovated and the restaurant would be designed a bit more charming.
The stuff is very, very friendly. Sometimes more friendly than competent. But they always try their very best to help you.
The indoor pool is cool, so is the jacuzzi and the sauna. The showers there need an upgrade.
The breakfast is good. Fresh omelette...
Getting to the hotel by car was a nightmare but that wasn't the fault of the hotel. However, they could have provided a thumbnail sketch to make things easier for access to their car park.
Checking in was a breeze and our room was very pleasant. A complimentary bottle of wine was lovely but a kettle and a sachet of gunpowder was not my idea of a cup of drinkable coffee.
That night we tried the hotel...

Quirky hotel with a theatrical feel. Love the lift music & porters dressed up. Creating a really unique ambience which we loved. Only complaint is the rooms are so dimly lit it was difficult to do makeup! It would be great if the bathroom had the option of being brighter.

Only one third of prices compared to Hong Kong Four Seasons. Room is small but well layout. Bathroom is grand. View of the harbour is nice. Couch by the window. Housekeeping and Concierge/luggage staff are 100 marks. Front desk people are relatively way too cool to help - promised to inform me when the room is ready but actually I got the mail after checking in.

It was my wife’s birthday and the staff went to next level to make it special.
By far, our favorite hotel in Sydney. Well done Four Seasons and we can’t wait to visit again.
We had such a wonderful stay over 10 nights at four seasons Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic! You can walk to almost all the touristy and shopping spots in the city. The big bus tour station is also just two minutes walk from the hotel.
We even got to watch the new year fireworks directly from the comfort of our own hotel room.

This hotel is the perfect location for a harbour view. Walk to the Opera House, close to the light rail etc. Excellent attentive friendly service from the moment the car pulled up outside. Seamless check-in and check out. Good size room. Lovely bed and great pillow menu. In room coffee good and beautiful amenities provided. Highly recommend. I've already booked again!
Such great service and friendly staff. Straight after we checked in and went out for the night we came back to a bucket of ice in our room and slippers next to the bed and the water pulled forward next to the bed and our pillows set up nicely. Thank you for making our stay so magical! We were sad to leave!
Room is comfy and nice and the lobby is absolutely beautiful. Front desk staff were polite and friendly. Room service was delivered quick and was high quality.
However for the price of this hotel I believe that there are better options for high end accomodation in the city especially for those travelling for leisure instead of business. They seem to be stuck in the out dated phase of extreme overcharging...

The updates made to the hotel are lovely, certainly improving the quality. We stayed in a Harbour view room and have no complaints. Large room, separate bedroom with a large balcony and nice view. I want to be able to give the Pullman 5 stars, but they just aren't doing the little things correctly at the moment. I don't know if it was because it was a particularly busy weekend that we were there, or if they were still having issues with their new system. I was travelling with a platinum Accor member and when we checked in, we weren't given any information about the benefits that the platinum...
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted and treated by super friendly staff who went above and beyond to make my family's holiday memorable.
We stayed on level 16 and watched the Royal Easter drone show and then the fireworks from the on the first night it was fantastic car parking was a breeze.
The king bed was fantastic.
Being so close to the show was a huge bonus.
Only stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms. Could not fault anything. The staff were exceptional could not do enough for us. Very compassionate seeing we were in Sydney for a family funeral. Would definitely go back again hopefully under better circumstances. Special mention of lady at reception and Joe.
We stayed for Fridayz Live this weekend and the staff were friendly and helpful, they gave everyone free drink vouchers as check in is 2pm however it was 3pm before our room was ready, which is understandable given the turnover of guests. Our room was great, lovely big fluffy towels however the bed was uncomfortable and the body wash was empty. I appreciate the refillable bottles instead of the little...

Primus Hotel Sydney
Sydney, 339 Pitt Street 🧭 Map
Justin, Patrick and Buster are very welcoming staff which you don’t find everywhere! They greet you no matter what time of the day with friendly smiles - incredibly hospitable! They gave us a tour of the ‘strong room’ and shared the history of the building. Beautiful architecture! The hotel rooms are always immaculate, comfortable and value for money. The roof top bar and pool are always lots of fun...
Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, the Primus hotel has over 100 years worth of stories. This iconic hotel has seen the growth of the city over the course of time while serve as a important memory in many people’s heart. The hotel follows many of the protocols and keep up with the status quo. It has all the facilities a 5 star hotel must have. My friend and I have stayed with them for over a week...
Lovely standard of hotel and the heritage feel of the building meeting contemporary. Nicely appointed rooms and nice bedding made for a great nights rest. Rooftop is a great addition and we have used for birthday gatherings before (great in summer). Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.
The hotel looks more grand than what the photos show. The room are specious, clean and new. There are a lot of bench space which is really useful. The room has all the basic amenities you need. The bed is really comfy with premium linen and choices of pillows. The hotel gave us a nice treat for our trip. The bathroom is modern and clean. The location is excellent, all the key tourist places are within...
The rooftop bar is good for a social gathering but could benefit from more shade for daytime events. The cocktail menu is varied but pricey, and the wine list is quite limited. Service was okay, nothing special but nothing terrible either. I would have happily given them 4 stars if they had not charged a surcharge to my card when paying with savings without any forewarning at all. The screen displayed...
The owners of this hotel have done a spectacular job in renovating this building into a fresh and modern marvel whilst maintaining its vintage, Art Deco charm. The Wilmot bar downstairs is amazing but the rooftop bar absolutely takes the cake. There’s nothing else quite like it in Sydney. Sweeping views of the surrounding skyline and the most incredible rooftop pool.

This was an extravagance. I do not normally frequent 5 star hotels, so this review might be positively biased!
The hotel is beautifully appointed with big spacious rooms. The staff are excellent, discrete and professional.
The breakfast options were varied, very good quality and copious.
The indoor pool and jacuzzi were clean, inviting and very pleasant.
Of course, it is expensive! Way more than...
The Location is fantastic. So much history to explore. It’s a flat walk to Stargazer park and from here you can catch a lift to Barangaroo or do gentle scenic walks around the Harbour and Rocks . So many great restaurants to chose from .
The staff are exceptional, and their attention to detail is excellent. The spa is amazing. It’s kept around 38 and is extremely therapeutic on sore backs and legs...
Absolutely stunning hotel and location. This is our second stay here and definitely will not be our last. The staff are always extremely attentive. The standard of the hotel is high end and I absolutely love that pets are welcome. We had a wonderful room with a balcony that overlooked the harbour. Whilst we did t have time to use the pool you simply must as it is spectacular and we loved it last time...
We had a wonderful stay here and didn’t want to leave!
Our room was beautiful, luxurious and spotless. The service we received from every staff member was extremely professional and helpful, and made us feel very special.
We loved all the small touches, from the pillow menu to the way housekeeping tidied our things with such care.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay...
Beautiful hotel. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable with a touch of luxury. Pool was amazing- such a nice atmosphere. Good little gym. Buffet breakfast was extremely good. Service lovely and location perfect. We will stay again next time we are in Sydney and will now try to stay at other Langham hotels as well considering this one was such a nice experience.
The critical reviewer in me wants to give the Langham 4 stars. The room was a little dated, and the view not too exciting, with a construction site and associated noises in the distance.
However, I am compelled to give it 5 stars. The service was excellent (particularly from the foreign staff members). The bed comfortable, which is most important. The bathroom was nicely updated. The hotel has a lovely...

Location, cool, funky, all comforts and friendly staff
Wow loved this hotel. We had a great time and loved our room. We got the loft suite and it was perfect! The restaurant is great and our Higgre experience made it perfect! Highly recommend this hotel it’s walkable to everything and super easy to find.
So happy I stayed here. Hotel is so cool and all the little touches just make the stay. Avocado on the breakfast buffet was the best. Pool amazing. Location amazing. The rooms are so cosy and all the tech you need. One thing I'd say is maybe have some vegan pastries or something else vegan at the buffet. The staff were so kind and friendly. 100% recommended.
We loved this hotel a lot. The rooms and the shared area where the restaurant and bar located is very well designed and so cosy. The cocktails are in the bar were great. There are reverting here I except from a hotel. We are very happy with all personnel as well. Especially the room service did very good job. I will definitely will come back and stay in another branches of the hotel.
Well, this is a very special place.
From the second we arrived, to check out - it was a brilliant experience.
The staff are fantastic. Sadly I can't remember the name of the gent that checked us in. Perhaps Kevin? He was very polite and actually introduced himself to us properly. I had a prior concern about arriving early and our luggage. He sorted everything for us.
We were offered an upgrade - due...
This is a great hotel. In more than 30 years of staying at hotels this is the first time that I have experienced two things. One, a complimentary mini bar (and a very well stocked one), and two, the hotel GM meets you when you check out to find out what you loved and didn’t like about the hotel. Lots of other great features like art, breakfast, free sweets, etc etc. Keep up the great work. Other...
