Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Edmonton South

I would have had nothing nice tonsay about this hotel until the last few months. I was a long term.daily.paying client. I considered this hotel as my home. At first the staff were great. The rooms not the cleanest and all staff except the b night male staff and one or two of the afternoon staff are amazing. Otherwise the manager and general manager have absolutely no concept of customer service or people skills as well as personal.confidentualoty the know nothing of business practices or confidentiality of they're guests as I caught several staff especially the day manager talking about my.personal business to other people on staff and other clients staying within thr b hotel. I spent 20k in 6 months staying here for them to turn round and kick me out with the pathetic excuse thay they no longer wanted long term clients n td there. They didn't even tell me i found oit through other staff members thsy thank God felt I needed to know incase going to be blind sided and thrown onto the streets after they took the remainder of my money. Not.omce did I receive a free breakfast and I felt I walked on egg shells the entire time I stayed there. They got onto my personal business abouy who I made friends with the other long term tnants there and them disclosing my personal.informatuon to other clients and staff members. Not once was a complaint made about my stay as I respected the hitel ,staff and other guests as it was my own home. I treated the place as my own house. I kept me mouth shut on several.occassions the outrageous situations and issues that arose thunkkng staff would care enough but to my surprise they didn't care at all serious issies brushed under the rug and hidden . They made. sure makes the aboriginal culture was destroyed and made a joke the way they treat the property and the clients not only me but also the n property and the staff. The ones care and work there for a longer period of time. All they aredd about was the money nothing to do with hospitality or reputation of the hotel

The hotel bar & restaurant looked nice on arrival. The rooms however where not clean The floors wasn’t vacuumed and moped. Coffee & food from the last people who staid was still there. A uncleanliness feel in the room. I slept in my clothes. I couldn’t wait to leave. I complained & one of our rooms was changed to a better room but unfortunately again it was not clean. We had no choice but to stay due to our road trip time frame. The Ukrainian lady at the front desk was not very polite, very rude & not helpful. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects a clean & up to date room. It’s a shame really because I could see how good the hotel must have been when new.
