Home2 Suites by Hilton West Edmonton

The Home2 has been my second home on and off in the past 2 months because of my work. I have to say that service is absolutely beyond expectation and the staff pays special attention to my needs. Shout out to Paul who's always very attentive to details and always ready to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable ! The kitchenette which includes a fridge, microwave and dishwasher are really practical and I'm able to buy and make my own healthy food. They recently updated the Gym with a Peloton Bike ! Gym is always clean.
Pool looks fun although I never swam yet. There's always families and kids in it.
Would definitely recommend this hotel !

Rooms were nice and our stay was pleasant. Just a few recommendations:
1) The bed sizes of King were small compared to a regular King. We noticed this when we stayed in the 3rd floor.
2) The line up in the breakfast can be avoided if they organize the breakfast area better (people don't have to go back and forth for spoons, jams, toppings) and add another waffle maker.

If you are lucky like I was and are greeted by Bennett at the front desk, then you are going to get the warmest sincere welcome and fantastic service!
The room was very clean and comfortable! The layout was great. You can completely make yourself at home and be relaxed doing so. All staff I have talked to have been very kind and friendly.
The only downside I have found is there is no hot tub and the pool itself, you feel like you are in the way as private swim lessons take place in it by an outside company. So, if you plan on enjoying the pool check to see if there are instructors there as you may have to play dodge the lesson.
However, I have still marked this location as a favourite.

Breakfast was great, they have managed to create a system that allows them to keep the food coming without getting in the way of the guests and keeping queues to a minimum.
No hot tub in the pool area, but that's ok. Nice small gym (which was always empty anyway so it worked great for me).
The queen bed was for a very small queen.
The staff was awesome!!! They really helped a lot and listened to all our requirements and did their best to help us enjoy our stay (we have two small kids, life is hard).

Located just off what I call Hotel row. Got in late and the air conditioner made noise all night. I asked for a refund in the AM and Paul did a great job to help us. Thanks Paul for caring about our stay. Lobby was small but nice. Rooms are painted yellow which makes them seems older than they are. Nice curtain in our room to separate king bed from pullout.

Hotel is on the north west side of Edmonton, good location for a business trip if you only need to visit that side of the city, but really far from downtown. Rooms are really cozy, kitchen is very well equipped for a long stay. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is above average. In general it's a very good option.

Very nice place to stay and close to everything that we needed. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast is a simple breakfast nothing fancy. Front desk service staff are always friendly and happy to help where they can
