On hot days like now, the advertised air conditioning is all but inefficient. The rooms are reasonably clean, but the cleanliness in the shared bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. We stayed three nights here, and our stay was alright. The room, the bed and linens were clean when we arrived. The bathroom and showers were also clean throughout our stay. Perfect location for the hostel. Everything is nearby. Stayed for over a duration of 3 weeks and I loved it. Breakfast was really good. Loved the ambiance. Staff was very friendly. Cleanliness should be rated 10/10. Would surely recommend this hostel.

In overall a good hostel. The prices were cheap compared to other places in the city. Location is awesome, walking distance to many sightseeing locations and 5 min walk to metro. Dorm room was a bit small, but I guess that's expected. The cleanness was OK. There are quite large safes in the rooms so you can fit a lot of stuff. Breakfast was amazing.

Nice service, loved the pub downstairs! Big room in comparison to people, including own personal locker for valuable items. Bed was not the best, even for a hostel, had better experiences. Good for short stays. Took part at 2 events which were nice, they offer something every day.

Really good location. Really friendly staff, clean showers and beds. Personal safes are a great addition. Nice bar with plenty of activities and nice music. Really good value for money.

It is ok. It is fairly standard for a HI hostel. I picked a few long strands of black hair from the sheets and pillow. There was a lot of hair around the dorm room floor and in the ensuite bathroom. I saw a guy come to the room on a daily basis, but the only thing I saw him do was take out the garbage. I never saw anyone clean the floors. The location is good downtown. It is a nice and clean place for visitors who want a great location with great rates. Owner was polite and offered good supports. Answered questions promptly even passed midnight.

Great place to stay. It was quiet, clean and it‘s close to downtown. Our room was very modern and the bed comfortable.

Our experience here was unrivaled. The staff was extremely friendly and informative. The place was extremely clean and tidy with everything we could need including free coffee! Great time for great price! Staff was super nice, value for this money was amazing. Breakfast was so nice. Definetly worth staying there, especially if you travelling alone or with your friends!

The property was on the edge of Kensington market which is a great spot to walk around and explore. The street cars are also about a block away with the subway not too far of a walk away.

Everything was perfect you get more then what you pay for the coffee is great rooms are cleaned everyday. The location is the best In the world it has a 24 hr food shop accros the road

The best hostel i have been in my entire life. It exceeded my expectations and were so clean. Trust me this is probably the best you will find of its kind in toronto. Looking forward to be here again.

Decent value for budget travelling especially based on location. Every amenity within walking distance. There are some cheaper hostels. Staff is ususlly okay but bad experiences here and there. Good breakfast but it should be out longer and start earlier. Clean main floor but certain bathrooms and bedrooms need serious TLC. Some beds and floors are very dirty or worn and need repairs. Good cheap place meant for out of towners only!! If you have ID that says anywhere within Hamilton, Peel, York, The City of Toronto or Durham they will not check you in. Good for just night stays... u have a clean washroom and space to sleep

If all you need is a bed to sleep and a shower, this is the right place. Pros 1. Rooms and shared bathrooms are very clean. (No shoes are allowed indoor. Marble tile floors are shinning white) 2. Location is convenient - many street car lines, groceries, dim sum and noodles restaurants, coffee shops, massage spa shops, a park, some churches, AGO, Kensington Market, brand name stores, ...

The owner is very polite and respectful of the people who are coming to stay. The house has 3 floors with bathrooms on each floor as well as showers, the beds are sooo comfy!!! I would definitely recommend this place for some, not everyone... I say not all only because of the neighborhood that it's located in. But if you can handle a couple of weirdos then you'll be fine.. and you can get a room...

The location is quite near the main square. The room is ok, not so big, but there is everything. It is clean and tidy. We spent here only two night. It is a good place for a few night in my opinion. There is also a kitchen in the hostel, but we never used it.

Not in the greatest location but walkable to many sites. Clean rooms. Good budget hotel for a short stay.

Good value. Location walkable to downtown in around 20 minutes. Lots of great places to eat nearby. Rooms basic but clean. Worth paying extra for private bathroom

The food we ordered was well prepared and made, I was solo traveling through Toronto and was looking for a quick bite and this came put the be the cheapest and most worth to it. Service provided was top notch and not demanding
