Days Inn Toronto East Beaches
Toronto, 1684 Queen St E, ON M4L 1G6, Canada 🧭 Map
Budget priced and it reflects it. Adequate service as check in but not overly friendly. Morning coffee is weak and watery. Decor could use updating. Room is spacious enough. Free WiFi is good enough to stream but that's it. Either walls are paper thin or people have been super loud in the hallways. Same thing goes got random people outside. Wouldn't stay here again.
Stayed here for one night it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. If you need just the basic necessities this will be right for you. There is a bit of an odor in the hallways but the room didn't smell at all. Parking here is a bit of a problem as there is limited space and it is first come first serve if you have a larger car you should probably just leave it at home and Uber in. Breakfast was decent...
Nice, convenient location. Room was clean and comfortable. Service was good. Breakfast offered 6am to 10am. Close to restaurants and TTC for travel anywhere in the city. Small off street parking lot.
Decent, all things considered. You get what you pay for. It's easy to get to and from the hotel by tram, but it is a little out of the way. The beds were kinda short, so if you're tall, that might be an issue. Breakfast was also alright, but there aren't a lot of seats.
Cheap accomodations in the beaches area. Public transit right out of the front door. Walking distance to great shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean but don't expect anything too fancy. A small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold. No safe in the room. Great for people looking for cheap accomodations close to public transportation. LCBO right around the corner...
Wonderful Staff friendly helpful and available all hours. When the snow and ice started we returned to find the heater unit on and our room warm. Room size was small and cozy not good if you plan on just staying in the room. however we were only on the room at night so it was perfect for our needs. Would consider staying again

Everything was over my expectations, it was very comfortable, the staffs were great and the location is close to everything.
The location is great and the parking next to the hotel is free for the guests, the parking itself it's a bit confusing. The cleanliness level is EXCELLENT! The bathroom and the amenities are great and the beds are comfortable. Even though located in downtown the room was very quiet itself. The biggest problem was the heating, it was very old, noisy and either too cold or too warm due to lack of a...
The hotel was pretty quiet and in a good neighborhood. The people who work there were also very welcoming, and accommodating, gave us a welcome package with water and chips and gave us free parking pass as well. However, once we got to the room, it seemed one of the people who was supposed to clean it just made the bed with old sheets that had stains it in, which was a big turn off for me. When I asked...
Had a fantastic stay here in New Year’s Eve. The staff were very accommodating and listened to any questions or concerns we had. Parking was relatively easy to access and reasonable priced. The location was great for walking in the area and the complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious and so healthy! We will definitely stay again! Thank you St James!
This is a gem of a property! Stayed here for a quick getaway with some friends and we really loved how quaint, fresh and modern the property is. Our stay included free breakfast at the local Freshii. It’s been updated and modernized. Great bathrooms! Very comfy beds. Great room to come back to after a long day of exploring the city.
This hotel is was very nice, very fancy rooms and at a decent price. Very clean and super friendly staff, 10/10 would stay again. My boyfriend and i ended staying the night in toronto which was unplanned, and almost stayed at a worse hotel in a bad area. But this one was in a great area with parking too.guy at the front desk was very helpful after we walked all day and 20 min getting there at midnight...

This hotel was amazing!!!! The smell of weed and cigarettes was so welcoming! I met some crackheads and we shared room, he stole my phone from me. So I have to get a new one, but I still love and trust him. The bedbugs loved me! I got so many bites, wow, I’m sooo popular! Overall, the experience was great!! The blood stains smelt so good and the mold smelt even better! Definitely gonna stay there the...
The price wasnt bad for what i got, the guy at the front desk was very nice and understanding. For a one night stay it was good. And the location is close to everything downtown!
Not a bad place. Room wasnt properly cleaned when I arrived, but other than that I had a pleasant stay. Would stay again.

A comfortable and chill environment. Packaged with morning breakfast and also a pool for a hot weather.
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast could of been better. Comfort inn offers eggs and meat as well. But overall ok.
I have just left non anticipated leave but I had to keep moving. The hospitality and service was a 11 out of 10. Very welcoming and super clean. I'm definitely gonna be going back for a one night stay with my family.
There are dozens of motels and some hotels along the stretch of road. Most are very dilapidated. This place is decent. It has a very small swimming pool, but I guess that still counts as having a swimming pool. It has free WiFi and free breakfast. Breakfast is generally continental with some fruit on hand but of particular interest is the waffle making machine which you use to make a fresh hot waffle...

New, beautiful building and amazing, spacious, bright rooms! The location couldn't be any better. Right where all the cafes, restaurants and bars are! The contactless check-in was so great... super smooth! We definitely want to come back here! (tip: book in the Sonder app and you'll get a lot better rate than on any other website)
I have mixed feelings about this place. It’s in a convenient location so that’s a plus. The rooms have bath tubs so that’s a plus. But if you end up with a room on the back side of the building your view is another building which will soon be occupied by humans so there is ZERO privacy if and when the window blinds are up. The rooms are loud but they give you ear plugs and a white noise machine which...
The Sonder the Slate is located quite perfectly in the middle of the city. Its quite convenient, rooms were clean. But, it does not have room service, nor bath utensils. I think you can order a room service. There is no reception - sometimes there are Sonder team members around, very friendly. Its is very very loud though. not only you hear everything from the streets, but also from the other rooms...
Only con is pricing but it is located in Toronto an expensive city. The hotel is for you if you rely on self-check in. The self check-in process was on the Sonder app, there were staff working that greeted us at the entrance. If you needed extra items restocked you can request it via the app. Comfortable and clean location and central location. People did complain about noise on past reviews, there...
Amazing experience! We’ve stayed here twice and both times were a 10/10. The location is perfect, easy access to many streetcar lines and walkable distance to downtown and more. The room is clean, comfortable and aesthetic. Big bathtub with 2 shower heads. The view is great, the beds are comfy and the elevators work great. The app and checkin is easy to use and very intuitive. We always got approved...

Price of the facility is pretty good but they have to do some improvements on the accessing side, you can’t open the door if you leave the pool for washroom, etc.
Although the location is quite close to the DVP, the room was quiet. Check-in was quick and the front desk staff pleasant and professional. The room was clean and spacious and the view off the balcony was beautiful (a nice green space with autumn colours). We got back quite late (almost 1am) and the bistro/bar was just closing up. The bartender welcomed us and sold us a couple of beers to take back...
Not accessible at all, staff weren't very helpful with the exception of a few associated with room service. Two fake nails were randomly found in a drawer. Not a huge deal, but still pretty gross
Convenient location but a little pricey for rooms that are a bit dated. Pillows are insubstantial synthetic puffs, bring your own. :-) Really nice indoor pool that our son loved. Great breakfast buffet and reasonable parking rates for Toronto.
The room we were in was renovated and exceptionally tidy. The elevators were in need of repair as sometimes they wouldn't come, and other times the door wouldn't close. The service was lacking as checking in was a one minute conversation to get us in without briefing us on when checkout was. When checking out on a Sunday morning, the front desk was unattended for 10-15 minutes as people gathered and...
I stayed at the Toronto Don Valley for four nights. I was by myself and it was nice being able to go to the bar and grab some food, watch some sports and chat with the bartender, he was awesome and the food was too! (Loved the California chicken wrap). My room was clean and cozy. My room was a mix of the old and renovated to look modern. The only things that I didn't like were that there was no refrigerator...

The perfect spot for checking out Toronto. The only downside is the lack of restaurant.
Very average hotel. Rooms were large. Amenities were minimal which were 2 bars soap and a small shampoo. The room was well worn but the bed was comfortable. Excellent service from the staff.
Stayed at Cambridge July 18 to 22 2025 Parking and check in was easy and quick Room was always well cleaned when we returned at the end of the day. Mattress is not very firm and gave both of us sore backs by the end of our stay. Stayed in room 1205 and no scenic views. For the price and location to restaurants and shopping you can’t beat staying at Cambridge.
Great hotel in a very good location. The room was huge and very clean, the hotel is close to the metro station that can be even accessed via the Path (if it raining or is cold). Definitely recommended!
The room is big and comfortable, although it's a bit old. The location is good and it's convenient to go to shopping malls and restaurants.
Lovely place very nice room and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks very much

This hotel is not for someone who really cares about cleanliness. If you have ever lived in a Canadian university residence you will be absolutely fine. The staff were very friendly and were very accommodating for early check in. The location is phenomenal and is about a 6 minute walk to the subway in what felt like a very safe part of town. However, the sheets did have hair on them. Knowing this...
Great place to stay if you are in a budget and have low expectations. The room and showers/kitchen were decently clean, just okay for a few days and if you are a student on a budget like me. It is certainly not spotless though and I would not walk around barefoot. The staff are all really friendly and help you with any questions you may have and breakfast is also decent fro the price, although certainly...
I was here visiting a friend and it's basically a student co-op housing with each unit containing 4 or 5 rooms with individual keys and a shared kitchen and bathroom. Pretty low frills, good for students looking for a low budget place to stay
It ok, it is really cheap so you should not expect a great plsce. The room is ok, just what a backpacker needs for the night. The breakfast is one, you can get fruit, coofe and milk chocolate.
Run down. But it's home to who matters, and that's what matters. Security was thorough (good)
Residence entrance looks more like an office place. And does not display property number. Visitors need id card to enter.

Loved this hotel so much! Went to Toronto to spend the weekend their for pride and man this hotel was just gorgeous. The room was beautiful and cleaned very fast, washroom was great. Really liked the suite we had. Tons of room & the beds were great. Got a great nights sleep after the concert. Also love the view from the roof top where there are 2 hot tubs. Love the service. Roof top hottub was amazing with a big screen music videos playing. Very clean room. In door pool was very clean and nice. We would definitely go and stay there again. ?? Cheer's
The Grand is awesome. It has a real rooftop patio and hot tub. It also includes a video dance party that is good to watch but not listen to. The sound system is suffering. The hot tubs are very hot considering that we went when it was around minus 15 and extremely windy. I didn't want to leave. The room was nice with a unique layout. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was different because...
Stayed here several times. The employees are great. All of them. The hotel is very clean and has some higher end finishes. It's a nice place to stay. A bit of a walk to the heart of downtown, but not unreasonable.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious as well. Breakfast is included but it seems as if those staff are running around like a chicken with its head cut off. The setup is pretty flawed but otherwise I’d recommend this hotel.
Booked here due to plane delay. Very easy book in process with app. Prompt response when i called for shuttle directions. Check jn was easy as they had my room ready after calling in for the shuttle. Room was large, nothing special. Strong shower stream, no issues overall. Would return here.
A very good place to stay. Staff great and would help with any little detail. Kaleb was fantastic and it was a delight to see his smiley face and pleasant manner every day. The suite we had was just right for our party of 3. The hob rings in the kitchen were very basic and it took ages to boil water. We asked at reception if we could have an electric kettle, and within a few minutes one was delivered...
Fantastic stay. From the phone agent to the receptionist to the buffet waitstaff to the shuttle driver, it was a great experience. Arriving so late, I was weary that it would be an irritable experience however nothing of the sorts. Everyone was pleasant despite it being close to 2AM. Great place to rest near airport. Shuttle free once per hour. Clean. Staff very accommodating and professional. Lots of recycling efforts appreciated! Free breakfast with fruit salad and oatmeal as best choices. Negatives: pool was murky and too busy due to guests from Hampton also go to it. No hot tub.
Stayed for almost 2 weeks. The rooms are large, spacious, clean, and comfy. The room comes with a ref, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and utensils. There’s a free airport shuttle and breakfast spread in the morning (+ light dinner/snacks on Wednesday evenings). There’s also a laundry area, gym, and indoor pool. I had several days vacation in downtown Toronto, staying at McGill Inn B&B. This is a nice home-like house with breakfast included. It really is AT the downtown, close to the grocery stores, clubs, and all other amenities. In fact, it's so close to everything, you won't need to drive (nor you would want to, considering the traffic is always bad, and constructions just add up). The McGill Inn had a...

We usually stay at a regular hotel, but we tried something different this time. McGill B&B is conveniently located; it's within walking distance from many places (e.g., Eaton Centre). The location is particularly convenient for us because a Japanese izakaya (traditional Japanese style bar) is right across the street. We ended up dining there almost every day. The room is very clean and comfortable...
Very clean rooms, very clean bathrooms and kitchen. Pleasant and friendly owners. This isn’t a Hilton but you get the same hospitality that you would get at a 4 star property. I will definitely be staying again whenever I’m in Toronto again. Highly recommended!
For a hostel of that type i must admit it is very good. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms and bathroom is cleaned everyday we can see. Its impecable. Lots of choice for breakfast.
