Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver

Amazing place. Perfect location, clean room, comfortable bed, I have appreciated the blackout curtains. The staff is smiling and friendly. Especially I want to highlight a front desk Scarleett, she made our stay at the hotel memorable. She quickly responded to our requests with a smile, always had a pleasant short conversation with us, giving us the feeling that we are special. So we will definitely go back there!

Very clean hotel. Rooms clean and specious, comfortable beds, bathroom large with extra chair and magnifying mirror makes it easy to apply makeup.
Excellent customer service. Anytime I asked for extra towel or blanket it was delivered to my room within minutes.
Excellent location.

Cons: rooms were old, outdated. Wish they had slippers or bathrobe in the bathroom.

Overall, good experience.

One of the best Hotels I’ve even been. Perfect location, you can reach everything easily by foot. Amazing staff overall. Friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Beds are great. We had breakfast at the Diva restaurant every morning. They have good choices and food was excellent.

Location: Convenient location, just a few steps away from the canada line (airport train) and the sky train station. Many restaurants and shopping in the surroundings, in The heart of the city which make it noisy specially at night with the sirens of ambulances and fire trucks.
Rooms and Housekeeping: Spacious rooms and clean, bed is comfortable my only criticism is that the pillows are dreadful, they are heavy and hard. The rooms we have stayed had a bathtub (a rarity these days in hotels). Is well lit, amenities were restocked daily including the shower cap even thought I reused the one I opened, I also used the sewing kit and got restocked. The housekeeping team was very efficient, they noticed we were three people and left an extra water bottle rather than the standard 2. (This hasn’t happened in the other two 5 star hotels of Marriott group we stayed in the city).
Restaurant: Food is very good. The kitchen is open to the restaurant which is nice, the ladies at breakfast really make you feel welcomed and at home. The menu for dinner is good as well, however the dinner staff gave us the feeling they were rushing us in the two occasions we went there, a complete contrast to the breakfast team.
Front desk: Their desk is tuck away in a corner so we rarely interact with them during our two weeks stay. However the bellman/doorman are genuinely friendly and helpful.
I give a 5 stars reviews for cleanliness, friendly staff and comfortable bed, spacious room.

This place is awesome. Spent three nights. The layout is a bit old school with a triangular like layout to each floor, but it's well kept, stylish, clean, and the staff are very friendly.

Loved the gym and locker room areas. It's perfect for family travelers that want to start their day with a workout, steam, a shower but not wake their fellow travelers who are sleeping in.

I'll definitely come back! A+

First time staying at Metropolitan. It was my best stay with Marriott in downtown Vancouver. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Renovated suite room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was great. Bed linens and towels are good quality. It would be helpful if there are slippers and electric kettle in the room. Free hearty breakfast for platinum members and up. I took one star off the service because restaurant staff squeezed us in the small corner with another table when the restaurant was empty at 7.30 Sunday morning. Other than that me and my hubby were pretty happy with our stay and would definitely return in the future. Hope my feedback helps.
