Marketa's Bed and Breakfast

Very nice experience at Marketa's B&B in the honeymoon bedroom! The location is great (downtown 5 min walk from the legislative assembly), the rooms are spacious, the decoration is well chosen, the breakfast is delicious and homemade, and the bed is comfortable. You will feel home. I definitely recommend.

Located near parliament building. Quick access to fisherman’s wharf, downtown and all the go to places. Staff is pretty friendly and hospitable. Rooms are beautifully decorated, although beds could be a little un-comfortable. Breakfast is lovely.

Marketa's B&B is charming with character, located in the quiet and lovely James Bay area. The rooms are clean and beds so comfortable! And the breakfast which is included with each stay is sooo delicious! Marketa as well as her staff serving the breakfast in the mornings are all very hospitable! I will be back for sure!

It was a great cozy place, just a few steps away from Victoria downtown and many places of interest. Staff was super friendly. The breakfast was included, and it was delicious. Enjoyed our stay very much

Amazing place to stay. We loved it . The staff are really friendly and the home is a well kept 100 yr plus old mansion so it has all kinds of character . Beautiful stay and great breakfast too !! Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will definitely be going back

This Bed and Breakfast is clean, comfortable and on the "we'll be back" list. The breakfasts portions are perfect. Some local B & B's servings are too big, while some others don't offer a big enough to carry you through the morning. Marketa has developed a menu that offers delicious suggestions. We stayed for 6 breakfasts and were always happy with our breakfast. The room was very comfortable, with a private bathroom with shower. The staff are very friendly. Again, we will be back.

- Breakfast was outstanding. Eggs Benedict was amazing, I've never seen that in a BnB. Plus they included fruit, muffins, coffee, tea, juice and all with a smile from our kind host!

Marketa's is in an excellent location, and worked out well for me. Pleasant and relaxing ambience, laid back but professional and efficient staff. A great combination!

I stayed this place once. The owner and hostess Marketa was very friendly. This is a budget B&B at a good location. I definitely recommend it if you want to experience what Victoria has to offer but don't want to spend too much on lodging. You know, hotels in James Bay area can be very expensive in high seasons.
