The Josephine Boutique Hotel

This would be the LAST place to stay if flying from Larnaca airport. First , not their fault but the streets surrounding the hotel are under major construction making it EXTREMELY difficult to get there. Parking is UNBELIEVABLY bad. A parking structure several blocks away is ostensibly free. Hard to get to and it was impossible to exit with the “pass” which they assured us worked. It did not. We paid 10 euros and the gate STILL would not open When I walked the several blocks back to ask the hotel what to do they were unpleasant and accused us of being incompetent and stupid. With a passerby’s help we were finally able to exit for our very early morning flight. Overall hotel staff were so rude and bad it was unbelievable. The room was acceptable but not a good value. Avoid this hotel.

The hotel used advantage of the ISRAEL-IRAN escalation to increase price dramatically. They raised price while we are there with out informing us in advance. When asked to speak to manager/owner he informed the receptionist that he is not interested in talking to us and left us no choice but to pay. Will never come back again to this place and neither recommend

If something goes wrong -- this hotel will do absolutely nothing for you.

We couldn't travel due to closed airspace and a real threat to our safety.
We informed the hotel immediately. In return -- we received a formal "we understand."

No rescheduling. No support. No willingness to help.
Even after Booking.com got involved, they did only one thing -- waived the cancellation fee for a stay we physically couldn't make.

There was nothing truly humane in their response -- just the bare minimum, and not even by their own initiative.

What we felt was indifference.

This hotel chooses rules over people.

You might think: "That won't happen to me."

But when the unexpected hits -- you'll be left alone with the consequences.

Don't book this place. There's no human care behind the front desk.

P.S. I've seen reviews right here from people in the same situation -- the hotel refused to help during emergencies. Sadly, it doesn't look like an exception.

I reserved the Family room and at the reception, I was asked to pay another 20€ per night for my son. Then they brought another bed in the room. The Family room supposed to have one matrimonial bed and one couch. I contacted the Agoda support but they wait for the hotel owner to decide. What a bad service! There are construction works done on the street. This was not mentioned on the site.

The service was disaster!!
We had 3 different issues in our room and the answers were very useless.

First issue they had some issues with the water so we couldn’t take a shower after the beach- we were the answer ?? - there is nothing we can do you will have to wait until tomorrow..

A day after different issue come up when we tried to flush the water in the toilet - again we ask for assistance and the answer was- there is nothing we can do you need to wait until tomorrow and not use the toilet absurd!!

The final issue is that the air conditioning stop working..

Highly not recommended!
