Where to stay in Larnaka

There are a lot of mixed feelings for this hotel. While the staff is wonderful, kids friendly, patient, and very useful, the hotel itself is more of a 4 minus stars. It needs a lot of improvements. Probably at the beginning, it was a 5 stars one, but not anymore. I have added some pictures. We had a wonderful stay at Golden Bay Beach Hotel. The beachfront location was perfect, with stunning views. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the outdoor spa, pool, and the snooker table for some fun downtime . Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

We celebrated several special events in Golden Bay in July 2024 with our families. We planned most of the events remotely and flew in few days before. We stayed at the grand suite. The room was big and clean, with a fantastic sea view. The staff was great and helped with any request. The sea is very close to the pool, so it's easy and comfortable to visit each location. The spa is a little overpriced for the treatments, but overall, it was also excellent. I will return to this hotel on my next stay in the Larnaca area.

Good hotel with nice views and good food, but you know when you go to a very nice hotel to enjoy good food and nice beach, and one employee attitude gives you a wrong impression? Irina from reception might have missed the memo that she's working for a 5-star hotel and therefore guests expect a treatment that fits with the money they are spending. I really recommend this hotel for wedding, family holiday and relax. We had in hotel the wedding ceremony on the roof top and it was the best choice which we done. All was perfect. Stayed here for 1 night due to our flight getting cancelled, one of the best 3 star hotels I’ve stayed in. Cheap rooms which are big and clean, strong nice shower, close to beach and restaurants. the hotel needs maintenance, at first glance it looks modern, but the walls and chairs are dirty. We had the wrong room number 112, above the clothes dryer which was noisy even at night and next to the stairs where there was also noise. the cleaning is not at a high level, the staff is not so pleasant. breakfasts with a nice view of the city were of a higher standard. Good budget hotel with spacious apartments and nice terrace. However, if you have noisy (or crazy) neighbors as we had, you will be in problem because walls are not isolated. Could be cleaner as well, in example air conditioner was very dirty.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel. Good room, lovely staff, great breakfast, perfect location. Would highly recommend. Just a suggestion for the owner: the design of the bath tub and shower makes it very hard to keep the bathroom floor dry while having a quick shower.

We are couple with a baby. We had all we need! We got a comfort cradle and a nice blanket for the baby. The room was very clean, great size and the staff is very nice!!. Stavros and his team offer a warm friendly and helpful service. I stayed for 2 weeks in October on a business and leisure trip. Their 4th floor apartment renovations are beautiful, spacious, clean and everything new. The shower was awesome - lots of hot water and strong pressure, I would love this shower back at home! I just LOVE Ciao Stelio so much. We come over for work a lot, and it’s our most favorite hotel in Larnaca. The staff is fantastic, friendly And helpful. I feel home every time I come back here . A modern boutique hotel but I feel it is geared more for business travellers - it is very close to airport and there were aircrew staying - than tourists as it is a fair walk from the old town and has no pool (there is a public beach across the road). It is also quite expensive for a holiday hotel - although Larnaca hotels are more expensive than the resorts

Larnaca is one of my favourite cities in Cyprus and this newly renovated hotel had everything for a nice holiday. The view from the balcony is a holiday by itself let alone the closeness to the beaches. Beakfast is OK but needs more varieties. Rest is near to perfect.

Very nice people working there and easy access for free parking, but the walls were way too thin as I could hear someone on the other side snoring. The room was also dirty with a lot of dust under the bed. It also wasn’t possible to flush down toilet paper. All in all good for a 1 star hotel, but price could have been cheaper as well.

Sandy Beach Hotel & Spa it's the perfect place to stay in Cyprus. Near to a beautiful beach, with wonderful accommodations, amazing open spaces, excellent service and food. I spent a wonderful time there.

If you like resorts this is probably one of the good ones. I was there for four nights for work and all the services including food were quite good. As we were approaching high season the hotel next door was doing construction during the day. The beaches are nice around this location, some good restaurants, and Larnaca and other interesting locations are not really far.

The hotel is situated in a quieter village, so you can relax. We used the option with breakfast only, which was correct, no rapture. The surroundings of the hotel are very well maintained, but the beach is average, very rocky. Rooms clean, cleaned daily. The hotel in general without complaints, but there are a few things to improve. Service at reception not very friendly, we had to wait about 4 hours...

We stayed in interconnected rooms, so it's very convenient for a family. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms and the dining area were clean. The breakfast was fabulous! The pool was nice. Note that there is a construction work at this area (roads and pavement), so it makes it difficult to explore the nearby area by foot. There is a bus station for bus #419 near the hotel.

A small 3 star hotel a few minutes from the sea. The staff is very good and helpful. The food is tasty and very nice. The prices are reasonable. Great location and great host! We were staying there overnight as it was convenient location close to the airport. We arrived there at 3 am and discovered that I booked the wrong room. The location is great for walking around a d seeing the difference sights. The hotel is roomy but too large for the design and layout. The small table and two chairs doesn't make sense when half the room is empty around it. The floors are laminate and starting to show more wear and tear. Clean big rooms. Good reception service, amazing rooftop pool and bar. Only open until 7!! We didn't have breakfast. The location is good, parking is problematic but they provide a spot in the car park for 5 Euro per Day. Price wise ok for Larmaca.... Cyprus just becomes more expensive everywhere
