Room is clean and breakfast is nice. Price is quite fair with such facility. Just towel is a bit old. Definitely, I will come back for my next business trip in Aachen.
At 9:00am, someone opened my room door. I immediately called the front desk and checked who it was, but they did not call back. As I called the front desk one more time, they said it was house keeping staff. But I put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign and even more, they did not knock on the door. I talked to the hotel manager and the housekeeping staff went for a direct apology. Instead of apologies, the...
Great hotel, clean and good size rooms. Nice bar and good breakfast
The Hotel was very nice. Nice big rooms, great shower, nice staff and decent breakfast. The rooms could really do with a fridge,as they don't have a restaurant and if you bought a salad our sandwiches you had know where to keep them cool. Also, if 2 people staying in a room, more coffee and milk is required. You can ask reception for extra coffee and milk, but be better if they can at least give you 4...
We enjoyed our stay. The room is comfortable and quite; the breakfast was lovely and we made our own waffles (took 3 mins but it was worthwhile)
Nice hotel built not too long ago. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have parking but there is more then enough free parking around the hotel. Good breakfast!

Aachen, Adenauerallee 209 🧭 Map
It’s conveniently located, near the highway but close enough to the old town. It’s a little dated but nice enough and clean. quiet neighborhood and parking available right in front. The parking is on a steep hill which was a bit of a challenge for us, but our car has lower ground clearance than most.
Loved this hotel, it's really great the staff were so helpful, polite and gave great information when requested, rooms were clean, beds were soft and comfortable.
We had a nice stay at the Art hotel. The room was lovely and very nice breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and a really nice bathroom. However, what stood out were the staff. We had some car issues and they really went out of their way to help us get this sorted. It was really so appreciated to have this support and help when travelling in a different country to home. I cannot recommend this...
Perfect hotel. Clean staff very helpful
Very good quality price. A little bit old but people are very nice. Breakfast is very nice, pool= 3,5€/person/day. Pool+spa=9€/person/day. Pool a little bit cold
Nice hotel with good size clean rooms, can be a little tricky to spot behind the car wash but, worth a visit, has other facilities like pool and restaurant although limited times on the restaurant when I visited & the pool is charged daily approximately 3euro per person, you may get a deal with room if you try, as for breakfast it's good but a little pricey if not included in room rate, and the coffee...

Quality to price, the hotel was perfect. We needed something close to the train station with easy access to downtown. The room was clean with plenty of room for two people. The staff could speak English and were very friendly and helpful. We chose the breakfast option and just about everything you would expect from a buffet was available. We highly recommend the hotel, especially if you are on a budget
The front desk staff were very welcoming, the hotel was a lovely modern/chic and the room although a tad small by Canadian standards was extremely comfortable. The only little hiccup, is that I never figured out how to get the ventilation to recirculate the air in the room. Otherwise the overall experience was marvelous.
There is no kettle, but you can get lemonade in the lobby
Business trip short-distance use hotel clean and tidy, polite service
The bed is small and there is no kettle. Everything else is fine.
Hotel well positioned to explore the city. The city center is just 10/15 min walk, and the train station just 5 min walk. Thr room was clean and the bed comfortable. I missed the tea/coffe making machine in the room.

We had two nights at the Hotel Am Marschiertor and it was a fabulous location within easy walking access of the old city. We had a spacious room on floor 4 although it was bakingly hot, until we worked out the portable AC unit needed water! The wifi was good, there was a decent desk for work and the shower was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast had plenty of options and...
Walkable distance to shopping centre and Christmas market. Good breakfast, just a shame some items weren't replenished. Basic comfortable room, would stay there again if visiting Aachen.
Internet not working The hotel was good but the internet didn't function and when we went to talk at the person at the front desk they couldn't do anything.
No one at Reception when we arrived around 3pm. No in-room tea/coffee making. Charge of €3 for hot water and tea bag if before 10pm. Very convenient for station and city centre.
Old fashioned hotel but charming because of that. Rooms small but immaculate. Good value. Only criticism is lack of tea coffee making facilities in room.
Really good service, the rooms were cleaned every day. The breakfast is amazing, close to the city center and the main train station. Calm and really comfortable rooms and beds. Everything was perfect!

Centrally located Aachen hotel with many wonderful conveniences. Breakfast buffet was delicious and offered cooked to order eggs. Great beers on offer in the lobby too. Overall excellent property.
Average hotel. Parking is very inconvenient if you didn’t reserve a space, which I didn’t and can’t recall seeing that option on the website. We had to park two blocks from the hotel, which is located on a busy street making it very inconvenient to unload luggage. We schlepped our two large suitcases those two blocks. Hotel overall is ok. Nothing to get excited about and nothing to overly criticize...
Just ok, location the bonus. No parking at Hotel, but a block away. Location to city center was great, a 6 min walk. Room location was interesting, up the elevator, outdoors across a steel walkway, inside and down a step to room? the bathroom was very small. you had to go around the sink to sit on toilet. Very strange. Hotel staff, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is cold, typical European style.
Overall the stay was fine. The room is very small as you should expect in the city and electric outlets are located in inconvenient places. Parking overnight was an additional 35 euros.
Lovely welcoming place Lovely little hotel handy for everywhere in Aachen, only thing missing was air conditioning as the summer heat was unbearable
No free parking - room a bit small but did the job

The room was small but very clean. The main issue was that there was nothing that could compensate the lack of an AC unit during the warm days. The window opened was also not an option due to the noise coming from the street even during night hours.
Clean, quiet, rooms, in good order, close to the centre. Very helpful lady on reception. We would stay again.
Rooms are a bit small but the place is quiet, breakfast is good and location is perfect
Nice small rooms and no restaurant unfortunately
Relatively small hotel and that translates into every where in the hotel. The room I was in was really small, elevator is for two people at a time, hallways are narrow etc... Room was clean and service was good. Breakfast was great, WiFi signal and speed was good also. There was no thermostat in the room, got to use the window to manage the temperature.
It's ok... friendly staff. Close to the city center. Rooms are quite small and feel a little outdated..

Fast service, good food, overall a nice restaurant!
Always great food at the Heide. The Lammrücken was delicious. Service was really fast and very attentive. My first time was 20 years ago and had the best steak in Deutschland.
Always the best: friendly and professional. Amazing restaurant.
Friendly staff, good food, but very long waiting times (well over an hour for lunch!!).
The room was clean and quiet. We arrived early evening and we're directed to the restaurant to check in. Even though it was a non-smoking room, the room smelled of cigarettes.

the bathrooms are very clean and the single rooms are quite neat, there is a safe for valuables also in the closet
Very nice hotel. Very good breakfast. Only about 5 minutes to walk to the dom, town hall and treasury. And about 10 minutes to the shopping centre. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars is: the Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room. If you are reliant on it, it can be very frustrating. But the gentleman said he would look into it.
Very nice rooms, central position and friendly staff!
The Hotel has a perfect location. It is just next to the downtown (altstadt). The breakfast is very good as well. The internet connection could be better. If u depends on internet, I recommend to choose another hotel.
The rooms may look a bit outdated, but everything is in order. The service is very good and so is the breakfast. Would recommend.
If you accept the shoddy 80s interior and thin walls, the stay is pleasant. Very polite staff. Close to the center an train station. Not worth 81 EUR including breakfast, though.

The price is pretty high, but the stay was good. Probably could benefit from a fridge and a tiny teapot. The breakfast usually had no eggs, they were all gone.
Good hotel with everything you need included. There’s free public parking outside and the location is ideal for a walking tour to the city center
It is very basic. What I like are the friendly staff and the surrounding areas are very quite.
Close to the location of the training we came to attend. The amenities are good, breakfast is decent but the wifi connection needs an upgrade.
Surprised how it got three star hotel rating ! But nice place to stay
Good breakfast selection of food and drinks, average rooms, small and even smaller toilets. The walls between the rooms are thin and not sound proof either and the place does get noisy depending on who your neighbours are.

Small but friendly and clean hotel, rooms to the back are quiet, windows open for fresh air. I had a single room and struggled to fit on the mattress which seemed to be rather short. Not a problem for people under 190 cm. Nice pillow. Okay water pressure in the shower.
Perfectly situated for an event at the Eurogress conference centre. Everything was clean and tidy. Small, but modernised bathrooms. The highlight was the breakfast, that was much better than equivalent hotels in this category. Good breakfast selection, presented with love.
Convenient Convenient and quiet despite being sited at a busy road junction - the double glazing is that good. Friendly and well priced.
Does a job Not bad, but needs modernising
My booking and communications experience with this hotel & its team was great. But their services & empathy really stood out. I had to cancel a trip, a day before my arrival. The bookings team immediately reassured me that they do utmost to resell the rooms, and if successful, refund the booking costs to me. They did so, on one of the busiest weekends, and I earnestly appreciate their efforts.
The room was a bit small but cozy. The breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. It was very loud in our room from the traffic, but other than that it's a good hotel to stay in!

They also have a comprehensive menu for dinner which they serve until 9pm. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is great, with lots of choice and delicious bread rolls.
Nice size room. Clean and well placed
Big clean rooms, quiet locality, swimming pool, and reasonable prices. Some of the rooms are located on the lower floors of an apartment complex. No complaints.
I've visited the hotel over many years and being part of a retirement house doesn't detract from the quality service. The room are always in good condition and always clean. The staff are also very accommodating with various requests. Breakfast is always great here and I simply cannot fault the quality. Beautiful setting, admirable menu, super sevice from the waiters who are very friendly and attentive! My favorite is their French Onion Soup, and there is great salad bar.
Situated just outside City with Park & Ride a few minutes walk with very frequent bus service into the City centre. Made very welcome on arrival and directed to pleasant, spacious room. The restaurant was good for our evening meal and a good breakfast provided.
Decent hotel that has seen better days. A bit pricy for the location in my opinion, but as breakfast was included I guess it was fair.
This hotel is exceptionally clean. Room is nice and big. The only con is the smell. There’s a very strong smell of soap on the hallway and in the room. But after two days your nose kind of get used to it. Breakfast is included, offering a good and healthy selection of food. The restaurant is always busy but waiters are plenty. Worth noting: no one wears mask now. A few minutes walk away, there is a...

We stayed for three nights, found getting our room key card and access easy. Our room was clean, tidy and cosy. Breakfast gave a nice selection Parking is a bit of a problem, we parked at Blücherplatz just a 5 /10 minute walk away €5 a night, it looks a bit dodgy but in fact safe enough and the ticket machine has a English button but note it doesn't accept card only cash ( or down load a app) The...
Stayed here for one night, which was ok. Good points: - The bed was comfortable - Hotel staff friendly and helpful - Very close the Carolus Thermen Spa Bad points: - The room was not part of the hotel and was across the road in another building. This resembled a building with flats. This meant you had to go across the road for the breakfast. Inside the building was cold with no heating. - Tiles...
Over the past fifteen years this family run hotel has been consistently good and has never once let me down. The rooms are always pristine. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are helpful. The location is good for the town centre and it is only 2 minutes from the Carolus thermal spa. It is a relaxing place to stay.
We wanted to book the hotel directly, unfortunately we didn't get any answers to our inquiries by email. We then booked through HRS. The confirmation stated that you had to arrive by 2:00 p.m. on Sundays. When we arrived at 1:30 p.m., we were told that check-in would not be until 2:30 p.m. However, our room was already ready, nicely furnished, comfortable bed with lots of pillows, minibar. The rooms are tastefully furnished, comfortable beds each with 3 pillows (I really appreciate that) and free coffee or tea. The bathroom is small, but nothing is missing. Unfortunately, the rooms (we were on the 3rd floor) face the street and it is therefore noisy (the new owner is not responsible for that, so I didn't take it into account in the rating). Excellent location not far from the motorway but in a traditional setting. Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly staff. The restaurant was closed ( for holidays we thought) but a nearby pizzeria resolved the problem . Breakfast in the hotel was excellent.
Very cosy Hotel - excellent service and a very good restaurant - we enjoyed a very well prepared dinner. The winecard also present German wines - which was highly appreciated. The breakfast is good and you can be served a very nice egg fresh from the farm. A nice stay.

I stayed for two nights in August 2025. I'm quite satisfied with my stay. But I'm a type of person who needs a clean place to sleep and that's it. I spend my days outside exploring the city so in this regard this place was perfect for me. It's only a 25 minutes walk away from the city hall. Although if you are bringing heavy suitcase like I did I wouldn't recommend walking from the train station,...
The people at this hotel are very friendly and the quality of the bed is good. Upon arrival it took some time for someone to welcome us and the room we had wasn't entirely clean (hair in bed) and fixed (some broken lamps), but the manager offered us another room or clean sheets so we could at least sleep feeling like the room was clean. I did expect somewhat better overall value for what we had to...
Everything was as expected. The family room that we booked (3 adults, 1 child) was very clean but on the main road so we had to sleep with the window shut. The beds were very creeky every time someone moved in bed. The coffee and tea making facilities in the bedroom lacked substance. The breakfast was great.
First of all, the location is fairly close to the motorway. The rooms were very nice; heating was good, beds were comfortable. The staff were kind. But most importantly: the breakfast was AMAZING. There was food, ranging from a selection of ham to a selection of cheese, to fresh, warm scrambled egg, to mozzarella balls, to yogurt, to cereal and much more. And for the drinks, there was orange juice...

Big room all a bit dated. The place is dead don’t expect more than a place to sleep. Clean room. No breakfast no reception not what you would expect of a hotel calling itself boutique hotel. It really depends what you are looking for - crashing out with friends after a night out, great; romantic weekend not so great, at least if you expect a nice breakfast and friendly welcome.
I don't even know where to start. I'm not used to not having personnel to be available in a hotel. Maybe it's just me and it's normal in Germany. If you stay here choose a room with a balcony. You will have a bed plus a large sofa like a bed and balcony. The room was spacious for three people. There are no elevators. Overall I did enjoy the place because it was quiet and no one bothered us. The cleaning...
A self check in place that had the misfortune of having a lot of construction on the road it is on which limits parking. Room was nice and it meets all the objectives of a traveling family looking for a place to sleep while adventuring during the day.
Lets start with "Woaaw" The room we had was bigger than my apartment. Nice balcony with a lot of green. We didn't use the kitchen, but there is a possibility. The bathroom is luscious with a bath and Dornbracht tap. It's all on walking distance from the centre. Next time we book longer.
