Best Hotels in Bad Harzburg

In the heart of Bad Harzburg, we found this an excellent place from which to wander round the town, and also to explore the region

This we have done now 3 times. This tells enough about the Hotel. We have stayed on many Hotels around Europe, but Braunschweiger Hof is still the best one

We stayed at the Braunschweigerhof in Bad Harzburg for a few days over New Year 2024-25. The rooms were modern , very comfortable and immaculately clean

There was a very nice traditional ambience in the public areas and restaurant. The staff were all charming and helpful, and the food was delicious. I would particularly compliment the restaurant staff

More than a good hotel! We had a 3-day package "Romantik" half board and included a candlelight dinner. And a welcome cocktail (with 4 courses). Pleasant service, cozy bar, good massages, excellent service

There is a lot to see and do in the Harz region so we hope to be back to explore further, and will certainly stay here

The breakfast and evening meal buffets were of good quality and the table service (drinks only) friendly and attentive

We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at this well-run, attractively renovated hotel. The staff were friendly and our room was very comfortable

The only small downside was the lack of coffee and tea making facilities in the room, but that is often the case in German hotels

The pool and spa areas were lovely, and a wide range of festive activities were also offered by the hotel

A great slogan or funny caricatures and objects on every corner. The rooms have been cleaned very well and the decor is very nice. The roof terrace is a dream and offers a wonderful view 😊🙏 Anytime again 🙌

The portions were also absolutely sufficient. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come back more often on the next vacation, even if you run out of calories before and after

The scenic area is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy ... Had the Glückskind room and can only recommend it .... 👌

Both hotel and restaurant are nice and the staff is friendly and welcoming

Unique ski lodge feel, wonderfully large rooms with lots of extras.

What annoyed me, however, was that my breakfast table, which I had for two days, was suddenly reserved for another gentleman, and I was assigned a cat table with a pillar in front of me

Everyone always had a smile on their faces, even if you didn't always see it under the mask. We wish all employees, who work together lovingly like a family, all the best, we look forward to your next visit

Great food and an excellent breakfast buffet awaited us there. You can go hiking directly from the hotel

We will definitely visit this hotel again and recommend it to family, friends and acquaintances. We also found the attention that was given to us without being intrusive, excellent

Nice hotel, good for old couples, who searching for relaxing time. Good Ayurveda massage centre. Good restaurant too!!!!

My partner and I were from 08/24. for 2 nights in the Hotel Am Eichenberg and have nothing to complain about. We were welcomed and served in a very friendly manner

The friendly staff, who, despite a lot of work, always had time to talk to us in peace, the high-quality food, the room and the great massages impressed us

Simple and clean, good breakfast with traditional German food, the hospitality host also brings the nice experience for staying. Restaurants around easily to have food nearby.

Hotel Victoria offers a really nice stay close to the Harz mountains. It's located in the center of Bad Harzburg with a lot locations nearby. The hotel parking lot and breakfast are inclusive

The breakfast is very German style (sandwiches/rolls, scrambled egg,. Hotel staff is very nice and I was surprised they manage cleaning your room while you are having breakfast

Very good, well-kept hotel in a central location. The breakfast was plentiful and very fresh and tasty. Scrambled eggs were served on request. We can recommend the hotel.

I love the garden here. It lies at a good spot from where you can view the whole town.

The drainage in the bath really needed some cleaning. The small sieve over the drain doesn’t do the job itself! The drain underneath was filled with hair etc. so the water wouldn’t run out

It’s small and the asphalt is terrible!! Sad the fountain wasn’t active with water running. There is another parking spot right next to the hotel though for those who want to park there

The garden could use a makeover but it’s nice and quiet. Don’t get fooled by the pics of the parking spot in front where the fountain is

The reception is open only from 8am to 8 pm which is not so optimal but we got the keys from a locker in front of the hotel entrance

Lovely place - very kind and courteous owner. Good breakfast. Nice room. 5 mins from the centre.

I can recommend this Hotel to everyone who's looking for something special. Don't forget cash as you can't pay by card which I find fits the style of the Hotel. Thanks to the owner for the nice time

What a great family owned Hotel. This stay was very special, not only was it our anniversary, the style of the Hotel, the people, the rooms and the city are great for a long weekend

The hotel was in a beautiful old building. Covid prevention measures were taken seriously. The buffet breakfast was one of the nicest I've had on holiday in Germany

Great a appartment for 1 or 2 people. The rooms are perfectly equipped and very cozy. The appartment is located around the corner from the city centre

The room is kept plain and simple and clean, even a minibar is available. The landlords are very nice and friendly. I can't complain, it's sufficient for my purposes. Breakfast is good, could have more choices

A very nice, cozy pension in a quiet location but still central. The breakfast buffet was small but fine. Everything was there that you needed to start the day. The landlord is very nice and helpful
