Hotels with pool in Bad Harzburg

They offer several different saunas including infrared, there's an amazing comfortable spa lounge area, a well equipped gym, a very nice pool, resting rooms, a library room, and open space areas/terraces

They offer a very nice breakfast buffet and I particularly liked that there was coffee and tea additionally served next to the reception during breakfast time (convenient if one eats a bit later but wants to have just something warm to drink an hour or two before breakfast; or even to take away)

The location is great because it's near the forest and at the same time just a couple of minutes on foot from some main attractions, and from the main pedestrian area with lots of little cafés and restaurants

There was also always a bowl of apples to take for free 😊 The dinner was a 3 meal choice or a pizza, and one of those 3 options was always vegetarian 🙌 The staff was super helpful and friendly

Every day there's an info board in the lobby about what they recommend to see that day, hiking paths suggestions, what's on the menu that day, and so on

They also offer massages and beauty treatments (I haven't tried anything though)

The hotel is a little out of date and the furniture is outdated. The swimming pool and sauna area, on the other hand, were recently renovated and have everything your heart could desire for a wellness stay

We stayed at the Braunschweigerhof in Bad Harzburg for a few days over New Year 2024-25. The rooms were modern , very comfortable and immaculately clean

There was a very nice traditional ambience in the public areas and restaurant. The staff were all charming and helpful, and the food was delicious. I would particularly compliment the restaurant staff

It must be said, however, that the water in the pool is very cold! The mid-range room was fine, but not inviting to linger in there; the double bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet was very extensive

In the heart of Bad Harzburg, we found this an excellent place from which to wander round the town, and also to explore the region

There is a lot to see and do in the Harz region so we hope to be back to explore further, and will certainly stay here

The pool and spa areas were lovely, and a wide range of festive activities were also offered by the hotel

We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at this well-run, attractively renovated hotel. The staff were friendly and our room was very comfortable

The only small downside was the lack of coffee and tea making facilities in the room, but that is often the case in German hotels

The breakfast and evening meal buffets were of good quality and the table service (drinks only) friendly and attentive

My partner and I were from 08/24. for 2 nights in the Hotel Am Eichenberg and have nothing to complain about. We were welcomed and served in a very friendly manner

We will definitely visit this hotel again and recommend it to family, friends and acquaintances. We also found the attention that was given to us without being intrusive, excellent

The friendly staff, who, despite a lot of work, always had time to talk to us in peace, the high-quality food, the room and the great massages impressed us

It was nice there, the service was good. The room very clean. Only the mattress was a bit soft. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Special requests were met due to a food intolerance.

It was a wonderful time in this hotel, service, food, cleanliness and friendliness, everything was perfect. The location for hiking is great. We will definitely spend our vacation there again

The hotel is in a very idyllic location right next to the forest. The staff is super friendly, the rooms very clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant looks very cool and therefore not very cozy

Our breakfast was varied, only we didn't like the rolls, but this is a matter of taste

The reception was very good, I was able to order in advance the dish i wanted to have for dinner and the time for dinner, and I was able to have the dish divided in two for me and my girlfriend (which is not well seen in other hotels, I must say)

There is a traditional German cuisine for dinner. Overall the staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable and warm

This hotel leaves nothing to be desired and delivers what you expect. Great wellness area, great pool, etc. ! The restaurant and breakfast are top-notch

We were in the restaurant for dinner and it was amazing! Very tasty, delicious, nice menu and very nice and attentive (and also high professional!) service. Children get a small gift to be busy while they are waiting

A bit worn, but nice and tidy. Breakfast was good. Much too few parking spaces. And it would suit the hotel well to inform about the Covid-19 effects on the swimmingpool and slot-times for breakfeast.

Small but adequate and quiet room with small balcony with two chairs.. Our room had a nice view. Staff are very friendly and helpful in spiite of being rushed off their feet. Reception personnel less so....

City center (very nice) within walking distance, or take the bus 50 metres from the hotel directly to the central station. The spacious room with balcony was nice but not impressive

The same can be said about the breakfast. Unfortunately the covid-19 restrictions made the breakfast experience stressful due to the limited capacity

The location is very nice and quiet. There is a playground, football field nearby, so ideal for children

She was constantly pushing us to eat faster during dinner (on both nights as dinner was included in stay) in order to allow time for the next course as the kitchen was closing (at 20:30!!) Quite hard to keep your calm and your appetite with someone like this

Our 2 nights stay was in general enjoyable. The apartament was big and clean, the food was quite good. However the Lady with a white strand of hair was very rude and unwelcoming

We had a great room, nice furnishings, with a balcony. We had a great time there, the operators of the guesthouse were super nice. We went there with my parents. Breakfast was good. We would stay there again.

We spent a very relaxing week in Pension Petra. The room was brand new and very comfortably furnished. From the balcony we had a very nice view of the valley. The hosts were very friendly and gave us good tips for hikes

The pension was an absolute stroke of luck and is more than recommendable. The owners are both extremely friendly, the house is clean and our room on the top floor, although not yet renovated, was great

On the other hand, if you need a little "action" in the evening, you probably won't be happy in this place; unless you take a little drive. However, it was noticeable that the city was falling asleep

Small but nice, cozy and above all very clean. The breakfast is kept small, but absolutely sufficient and offered fresh bread rolls and cold cuts as well as a great selection of sweet things

You have a nice view and you can also hear the little stream. The Corona requirements were implemented very well and the room was clean

The hotel is situated on a hill in beautiful Altenau. The front desk was very friendly and since not all rooms were occupied, a larger room with a balcony was prepared for us free of charge

Nice BnB in Altenau: nice room, nice bed and a delicious breakfast in a nice big living room. Great place as a base to discover the area, with ample parking and within walking distance of the pleasant village center

The owner is very welcoming and helpful and knows how to recommend the best restaurants in the area!!

We were there with motorbikes. The manager of the house immediately offered us a garage! Drinks were self-service with a "checkout of trust". Room was spacious, clean and functional

One morning we did have to leave early for some sightseeing so they did make a amazing breakfast for our trip. Superb service all through our stay. Our room was clean and everything in the room did work as they should

Brocken can be reached quickly, equal to the two golf courses. Bad Harzburg fast 30 minutes with a slow drive. Good breakfast served at the table. Extra wishes are gladly fulfilled. The dinner tasted really good

Conclusion: We are already looking forward to the next opportunity when we can drive to the Harz - we will definitely come to the organic hotel "Zum Forsthaus"! All the best, dear family Weiss!!!!

My wife and I have visited twice in a very short space of time. The first time a long weekend and the second a week. Right on the Hexenstieg and other hiking trails. Very centrally located to explore the Harz Mountains

And, for us, immensely important. Weiß is incredibly friendly and helpful and gives you good information for a successful stay in the Harz Mountains. Our shepherd shepherd was welcome

It was such a pleasure that we still didn't have to pay a cancellation fee - when in fact the entire amount would have been due

The Weiß family fulfilled all of our wishes in advance. Then we had to cancel our stay at short notice due to illness

I love the garden here. It lies at a good spot from where you can view the whole town.

The drainage in the bath really needed some cleaning. The small sieve over the drain doesn’t do the job itself! The drain underneath was filled with hair etc. so the water wouldn’t run out

It’s small and the asphalt is terrible!! Sad the fountain wasn’t active with water running. There is another parking spot right next to the hotel though for those who want to park there

The garden could use a makeover but it’s nice and quiet. Don’t get fooled by the pics of the parking spot in front where the fountain is

The reception is open only from 8am to 8 pm which is not so optimal but we got the keys from a locker in front of the hotel entrance

Location was finde. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. A litte old-fashioned, but totally find for an overnight stay.
