Where to stay in Bad Reichenhall

Nice hotel but don't ask for peanuts. Everything was great, friendly staff, room, pillows and breakfast. But when I asked for some peanuts together with my beer I discovered that the 2 small handfull portions I received were billed for 3.60 euro's, more expensive then my beer! Buy your peanuts at the supermarket.

Should be a separate floor for people with dogs.

Exceptional service and friendly staff

The hotel was great, as usual, especially the breakfast. Just one thing - I used to be able to charge my rental electric car in the parking garage. This was not possible due to technical issues. The charging station was out of order, with no information as to when this would be fixed. Please fix asap. Thanks, Mike Koehler

Very nice hotel Overall, it's a very nice hotel. The in-room fridge was not obvious to me and I didn't find it until my second day. No coffee maker or kettle in the room and the machine in the lobby for coffee is not self-service. Good location for the railway station, cafes and grocery stores. Staff friendly and spoke good English.

We only stayed for a night (arriving after midnight) Very kind staff, spacious rooms, good breakfast. Furniture, carpets and curtains have seen better days, but you still feel the style and class it used to have. Beds were perfect, showers worked perfectly. We enjoyed the short stay and have no complaints.

We were with 2 small children, and we got a large apartment that fits our needs exactly. Everything was clean and tidy, excellent breakfast, the staff is very friendly and nice, and the location is simply stunning!

Best stake in have had in Germany and a wonderful staff. Delicious 5 course meal with surf and turf for 40 Euro. Definitely a great find. Side not - in Germany is a standard to cook a steak medium. You have to ask cooked differently. I had mine medium rare and it was perfect.

We had a fantastic experience at Klosterhof. The staff made us feel so welcome and well looked after. The rooms are amazing, it is worth getting the rooms with the views of the mountains. The hotel was amazing. The beds are comfortable. The shower has amazing water pressure. The water is from the mountains and unfiltered. While we didn't stay at the hotel, we popped in for a coffee and cake (the apple cake was AMAZING), and had a lovely time with our daughter. It is very quiet and peaceful, we wished we could have stayed. It definitely isn't a place you would come to without knowing it's there - we were lucky because we thought we were going to just a cafe nearby, and then discovered this!

Everything was perfect: the location, the welcome, the breakfast, the parking, and the room. The only small downside was the gym, which is too small and not well equipped. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

For a group of 10 pax, it was too late for us to book a hotel in Salzberg, it came to be the back up for us to book this hotel because it is quite fae away from Salzberg.

Went hear with my girlfriend before a spa day Friendly staff -they can speak English and have an English menus. The food was really good and the beer was amazing- so tasty. They have a wide variety of German food and beers to choose from. The location is great too- right in the middle of town Highly recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay during our cycle trip along the Tauern Path. Helpful staff kindly upgraded us to a larger room. Delicious meal in the restaurant and great beer brewed on the premises. Good breakfast too.

Amazing experience on looking the mountains in Bad Reichenhall. I would encourage any tourist to take this hotel into consideration. They are extremely accommodating and the rooms are very clean. Definitely live up to the “superior” quality they claim to have at their establishment.

Very courteous and nice service by a small and friendly team characterize this hotel as well as the great location near the spa park and a (bus) train station. The rooms have a bit of rustic charm, but that doesn't detract from the comfort. All common and expected standards are more than met. Definitely recommended.

This hotel is really nice. Rooms are very clean, very nice view from the windows. The food in its restaurant is made in a very efficient manner. The chief can make a special food for your needs. Rating only refers to the food: very tasty apple strudel, delicious soup and vital salad! Nice service. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, we found it difficult to find the way to the hotel-restaurant entrance, as we came from the hike on foot and thus from below/below the hotel. Anyone arriving by car will be navigated directly to the entrance.

The "travel group Walther" was a guest in this beautiful hotel this weekend. The service, the food, this all-round carefree package.....can only be recommended. Unfortunately, you can only give 5 stars, but it should really be 10. That's why 👍 thumbs up, always worth a trip.

Highly recommended, owners ask the day in advance what they want for breakfast and organize it. Fresh fruit every day, etc. Great room service, whether daily cleaning or coffee in the room. We are excited. The apartment is huge. Everything is there and sparkling clean. The beds are comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. From sausage, cheese, fruit and everything available. Just great.
