We stayed in the hotel for only one night. It’s is just on the outskirts of the main town but a nice walk along the river. I would suggest having a car as the main market square is quite a walk and all uphill. The hotel itself is relatively small with simple facilities. It’s is reasonably decorated and very clean. Unfortunately the hotel did not serve breakfast but directed us to the sister hotel up the road for our breakfast ( this was included in the rate). We weren’t keen on having to go to a different hotel for breakfast and decided not to have any. The beds were quite comfy but only one pillow and the hotel would not allow us any extra. Rooms are a good size. Communal areas are decorated basic. I would recommend for a one night but we would most likely book somewhere else if we can’t back to the area in the future.

We really loved it here. Although only able to be here one night, we regretted not staying longer. We were celebrating our honeymoon and they helped make this a special visit, including rose pedals and towel swans on our bed, very special for sure, and on our overall trip, that stood out as a small hotel who took care to do something unique for us. Excellent breakfast, clean, friendly and would highly recommend.

No value for money.
Way too expensive for a small room with no airco. Breakfast was goor but nothing special.

The breakfast is very rich, with a variety of fruits and juices, which is delicious. The room was clean, not big but adequate. There is a small river in front of the hotel and the scenery is beautiful. But it should be noted that it takes ten minutes to get to the center of HBF town by bus. The bus runs every hour or half an hour. If you miss it, you will have to wait for a long time. To go to attractions or restaurants, you basically have to change trains in the city center.

Exceeded expectations! As other guests said, the breakfast is amazing, delicious and exquisite, and the tableware is exquisite. Although the room is small, the bathroom is spacious. Very clean and spotless. The surrounding environment is so beautiful and quiet. Close to King's Lake.

Although the hotel is about 10 minutes away from the train station by bus, it is very cost-effective to rent it for free with a city bus card! Breakfast was wonderful! Let me imagine as much food as possible!

We loved our stay here! The owners and very friendly and welcoming, they really added to our stay in Berchtesgaden. Ample parking on site and a good menu of local food. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We definitely would stay again!
