Nice pool area, with a heated outside pool that can be used in cooler temperatures. We had dinner in one of their restaurants, again very good service. Food was excellent, very solid wine list

The housekeeping staff was a well! The buffet breakfast was EXCELLENT (the best I've ever had at a hotel) and the room/view was amazing

The check-out was quick: a small good-bye gift from the region could not miss, very appreciated. My car was already outside the hotel, it was not necessary to ask

Our electric shade wasn't working properly when we arrived and it was repaired the next day by friendly mechanics. I also like that the staff will ship 2 postcards for guests. I'd rate this hotel 5/5 over and over again

The first thing that struck us about this hotel was how incredibly open and welcoming the ladies at the front desk were—they really made us feel excited about our stay and that we were well taken care of! Breakfast was jaw-dropping (even by German hotel standards, not just deprived American ones) and the people working the breakfast provided excellent service

5 euros it was a STEAL! It was filled with morel and chanterelle mushrooms (which happen to be my two favorite mushrooms)! Try it!!! If you like mushrooms you will NOT be disappointed! I would absolutely stay here again and do hope to do so again in the near future!!

We loved this hotel and Berchtesgaden is beautiful. Good facilities and clean, giant bedrooms and we had a beautiful balcony over looking the trees and mountains. Visited in October so the trees were changing colours

Our employees have strict instructions to wear a mask around the mouth and nose. We constantly remind them of this and in intense one-on-one conversations, pointed out the importance of the mask for some employees

The Hotel is a bit old, but the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably the best aspect. It's a 5 minutes drive to the Königssee parking lot

I really enjoyed my 4D/3N stay (in June 2021) at this lovely hotel. I arrived a day earlier than planned but was promptly accommodated. It's conveniently located near the train station, as well as the center of town

The only place I ever want to stay when visiting Berchtesgaden. Loved the 24 hour tea and coffee bar, tons of selection for tea. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever had

The bed was somehow not comfortable for us. It gets over soon and was never refilled. The warm food was always so little. Don't think there's a vegan option at all, probably need to preorder

Have stayed here for 2 to 3 weeks since 2015, except last year, and would not stay anywhere else. Wolfgang, Petra and Julia are the most wonderful hosts. I suggest the Watzmann Suite on the top floor

Excellent hotel! Quite near the lake (you can walk there, but we took our car, it’s a 5 minutes ride) and with a beautiful view of the forest and mountains from our room, the swimming pool area and the dining terrace, it’s indeed gorgeous

Best rates in town and also the best hotel in town. Everyone on the staff was incredibly nice and always very helpful. The food was delicious and the amenities were beautiful. Definitely going back!

Very cozy place! Location is perfect, it takes 20-25 min on foot to get to the main attractions ( Lake Königssee, Jennerbahn am Königssee). Breakfast was super delicious

Due to Covid we didn’t experience the famous breakfast but the breakfast package we got to our room every morning was amazing. We even took some of it with us as lunch. The rooms are clean and spacious

The land scape changes with the weather, so it's never the same twice. Summer season is very busy with tourists for the boats and lake, however off season is quieter and great for hiking and exploring
