Hotels with sauna in Berchtesgaden

We were traveling by car from Germany to Austria, and we had always wanted to visit the Eagle's Nest, Lake Königssee and Jena Peak. So we stayed at Kempinski for two nights and celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary

We booked a balcony room, and the pillows in the room were too soft and uncomfortable to sleep. The surrounding environment is first-class and invincible, and I took many beautiful photos

The environment is great, with the Alps just outside the room. The breakfast is rich, and the dinner in the hotel restaurant is also great. A satisfying vacation.

Especially the restaurant, we booked a candlelight dinner in advance, and the hotel also helped to customize tiramisu cake. It was an unforgettable journey!

The hotel environment was super good, the rooms were large and comfortable, and it was convenient to drive to various attractions halfway up the mountain

The room facilities give people a heavy feeling, and the door needs to be pushed hard to open. The coffee pot is also cramped

We ate at the Italian restaurant (Einkher) and the Gastof Neuhaus - both were delicious. What really sets the hotel apart though is the staff who are so helpful and friendly

The hotel is fully equipped with everything you could need: from ultra-relaxing spas and massages to delicious food paired with panoramic views of the stunning mountains

We’ve just stayed for a week and the hotel, its facilities and the staff are absolutely perfect. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are beautiful

Good menu and as the pizza section was so extensive we both opted for pizzas. A good idea as the base was perfect and the toppings were fresh and the topping quantities very generous. Service was friendly and slick

High quality, creative menu options kept us looking forward to dinner every evening. Last, but certainly not least, were the staff. Each staff person we interacted with was competent, friendly and helpful

Great room in a nicely located Bavarian hotel with comfy beds and good amenities. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good with the best views I’ve had during breakfast for many years

Beautiful hotel and very warm hospitality. Lovely view of the alps from the rooms and the restaurant Christina at the restaurant was especially caring towards my family.

There is a sauna but not much else, but don't worry, the uphill trek will be enough exercise

There is quite a trek uphill to the hotel. The hotel is quiet and has beautiful views. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant, bar has good food and drinks

It is the best thing I enjoyed during the entire trip. It's an old hotel, but it has flavor. I booked a single room with a window facing the wall (but it was expected, because the price is relatively cheap)

Staff is nice, breakfast is great But the hotel is quite old, there’s no lift from G-2/F Arrivals need to carry baggages with them and walk upstairs. But the room is big and cosy! And it’s clean as well!

There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which is very convenient to go to King's Lake or the train station. The overall impression is good, next time I go to King's Lake, Will choose to live here too!

I had a room with an amazing view of the town and mountains. The staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The bathroom was fairly large compared to other European hotels I've stayed at

In fact, I stayed outside most of the time, so it didn't matter. Hotel The waiters are also very polite. Guests will receive a transportation card and can take local buses for free

Very nice touch with the honor bar, help yourself to beer or soda and write your name on a ticket. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We could have sat and drank coffee on our balcony all day, it was beautiful

The bed was somehow not comfortable for us. It gets over soon and was never refilled. The warm food was always so little. Don't think there's a vegan option at all, probably need to preorder

I really enjoyed my 4D/3N stay (in June 2021) at this lovely hotel. I arrived a day earlier than planned but was promptly accommodated. It's conveniently located near the train station, as well as the center of town

Have stayed here for 2 to 3 weeks since 2015, except last year, and would not stay anywhere else. Wolfgang, Petra and Julia are the most wonderful hosts. I suggest the Watzmann Suite on the top floor

The only place I ever want to stay when visiting Berchtesgaden. Loved the 24 hour tea and coffee bar, tons of selection for tea. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever had

The views are amazing and it is such a wonderful balcony to sit out and drink a weiß bier and watch the world go by. The breakfast is fabulous and only seems to get better

My favorite hotel in Berchtesgaden, Bavarian-style rooms and an amazing atmosphere throughout the hotel, plus a delicious breakfast and a terrace with a view of the surrounding mountains.

The entire experience at Hotel Krone was awesome! We were greeted by a friendly face and very warmly. The hotel is situated above the historic town and the views from our balcony were absolutely incredible

Very nice hotel overlooking the city, complete with sauna, bicycle storage room, spacious rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful, so don't hesitate to ask for recommendations.

We found Hotel Krone to be a great choice for our stay in Berchtesgaden and would absolutely stay here again. Rooms were spacious with plenty of room for two of us with several suitcases

But above all, ask for a room with a view, as the surrounding mountains offer an unrivaled panorama, which you can also enjoy from the terrace

Definitely make it a point to enjoy breakfast on their terrace because the gardens in the foreground of massive mountains are breathtaking

Nice, clean room with good view (3rd floor for 3 people), super reach breakfast, good sauna. Nothing to wish more for one day staying.

The Hotel is a bit old, but the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably the best aspect. It's a 5 minutes drive to the Königssee parking lot

We were pleased to get a family room here as a walk-in. The family room was very spacious and had one large bed and two twin beds. The breakfast is included in the price

It was as close to an "American breakfast" that we've seen in a German hotel. It was walking distance to quite a few things including the train station

There are many restaurants and supermarkets around. The breakfast is also excellent

The pool is a bit small and can get loud but was appreciated since it was very hot while we were here

That being said, the hotel got us into a room with a view the very next day, something we really appreciated. The hotel is cozy, the rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms aren't a bit small, but that's Europe

The hotel has many rooms with wonderful views of the mountains but we were given a room with a view of the side of a hill. It was okay, but we really wanted a view. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked

For one thing, check-in time begins at 2 PM and they are quite strict about it. We arrived a little before 2 and were told to come back at 2. We just walked around a bit until actual check-in time

One of the bestest hotels I have ever stayed. There is not one negative thing I would point out. Convenient location, big, spacious rooms. The wellness area with saunas TOP!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Alpenhotel Fischer. The staff were lovely, speaking great English but being patient in letting me try speaking German too. Hotel facilities were great with breakfast being a highlight

Lots of choice and all very fresh. The room (117) was spacious and clean. The location is on the edge of Berchtesgaden and right next to a supermarket which was very handy

This is not a criticism as it was nice to be out of the centre when we were ready to retire for the night, but merely something I wanted to point out for future guests

Though in the high season these could be quite crowded, tips from the hotel staff helped us to avoid the crowds and make the most of our limited time

With that said, all I’d point out is that to get to Berchtesgaden centre, it’s around a 25 minute walk, with some uphill in either direction

Superb 4 night stay An amazing place to stay just a few miles from the centre of Berchesgaden. The hotel has superb facilities, it is very clean, the food is excellent and the family of staff are wonderful

Location is a bit of a drive out of town, but it made it relaxing and peaceful. I did appreciate that their duvets were a lighter weight than the other places we had stayed since it was summer and warm

The hotel is run by two super lovely people, and you can tell how much time and love they invest in the hotel. Both come from the area and always have good tips on what to do in the vicinity

The Alpenhotel Bergzauber is really an idyllic and familiar place. Very warm welcome and you felt at home right from the start of your stay

The breakfast is very rich, and the hotel also has a sauna room for use. The location is 12-15 minutes away from the train station. You need to walk up a sloping road. It was hard to push my suitcase, which is heavy

The two front desk staff are so nice. They will help you check the time and route for your trip. They will also recommend restaurants. The front desk staff can also speak simple Chinese, which is really thoughtful

The facilities were really good although we didn't take advantage of them all. They have a pool and sauna as well as a great outside drinking / eating area

Views don't get much better A super location to relax up in the mountains. Amazing views throughout the day as the light changes. We opted to pay a little more to ensure a view and we did not regret this decision

Our room had a balcony which gave a clear view of the Eagles Nest when there were no clouds. All the staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble

Once up the hill on the right drive round a sharp bend on the left and past the hospital on the right. Entrance is on a sharp left and there is parking both front and right

The quintessential Bavarian Gasthaus!! Although a bit antiquated the rooms were clean and spacious. We never had a chance to use the pool since we only spent two nights. It had ample parking and fairly easy to drive to

Breakfast is excellent and for those interested in hiking the walk into town is beautiful. Rooms are lovely too but if you have difficulty using the stairs take the lift

When you have your room key, you can use the entrance by the car park to access the building. You cannot book in if you arrive late because staff will not be there

If you are going to be late, please let them know in advance as you will not find anyone there to assist you. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is lovely

If you have a large car, please don't use the last parking space before the back entrance else others will struggle to get their cars in and out

We loved our stay here, amazing view, lovely clean room, very friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely, as were the evening meals. Lots to do and lots of information at the Hotel

Perfect stay. The owner had made special touch even with candy on the bed. Affordable price with mountain view from the windows. All facilities working fine with nice and strong shower. Definitely will stay again soon.

The hotel is very clean, the host speaks excellent English, is not more than a five minute walk to the train station or a fifteen minute walk to downtown if you take the stairs to town behind the train station

My only complaint; the shower head on my shower kept sliding down the rod because the tension mechanism was probably abused by previous guests. 4/5 would definitely stay again

Here they provide berchtegaden travel card that gives you 10% off for nearby attractions & free travel around the vicinity. Showering facilities are shared with that level, sometimes you need to wait in line

Basic amenities, hard to find along the streets. In berchtesgaden, they have this weird law about restricting water supply from 11pm-6am, so you should get a bath/shower before those times

Lightnings can be quite bad at night, I used a phone to travel around cause it was so dark past a certain time. Liked that there was self-service tea & coffee

No lift here, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs (4 floors max)

Don’t stay anywhere else! Such a fantastic place to spend Christmas or anytime. The views are better than the photos and the hotel so very clean and well set out. We are from a hotel background and highly rate this hotel

The food was amazing and we did not have a bad meal. Special mention to the restaurant manager from the winemaking family, we very much enjoyed his company and advice. Would absolutely stay again!!

The property was lovely and very clean. The views from the balcony are so wonderful as the hotel is nestled in the mountains. The outlets above the bed have USB charging ports which was very handy

Check-in was quick, and the cabin was clean and nice. I traveled with 2 kids, so it was the perfect size for a family of 4. I wish we could have stayed longer. Onsite free parking was a plus
