Where to stay with pets in Berchtesgaden

I advise everyone in the winter, in Sunny weather in the outdoor pool with your favorite . And then the sauna and into the snow . The Breakfast is super . But cheaper and tastier to eat in the village.

You can see various attractions in Berchtesgaden from a distance. The mountain behind is the Eagle's Nest. The breakfast is also very rich, with buffet and a la carte, and the view is excellent

The environment is great, with the Alps just outside the room. The breakfast is rich, and the dinner in the hotel restaurant is also great. A satisfying vacation.

Even the hotel has started to use recycled slippers, saying that it is environmentally friendly and cost-saving, but overall it is good. Driving in the middle of the mountain is more flexible

We booked a balcony room, and the pillows in the room were too soft and uncomfortable to sleep. The surrounding environment is first-class and invincible, and I took many beautiful photos

Especially the restaurant, we booked a candlelight dinner in advance, and the hotel also helped to customize tiramisu cake. It was an unforgettable journey!

The property is located at very(!) mountainous terrain, it is really tough to get there by foot , and carrying luggage is making it really painful

Luckily the receptionist was very nice, although she also gave a recommendation that didn't work out and caused more work for us (that in the restaurant downstairs dogs are allowed and they should have space - of course, they were full)

If we would've had space in Zum Fassl (the cellar where dogs are allowed), we probably would've rated it high separately, but this review has to cover both hotel and hotel restaurant

So we 'had to' eat dinner on the ground floor where dogs are not allowed, so we took him back to the room first

The bed was somehow not comfortable for us. It gets over soon and was never refilled. The warm food was always so little. Don't think there's a vegan option at all, probably need to preorder

I really enjoyed my 4D/3N stay (in June 2021) at this lovely hotel. I arrived a day earlier than planned but was promptly accommodated. It's conveniently located near the train station, as well as the center of town

Have stayed here for 2 to 3 weeks since 2015, except last year, and would not stay anywhere else. Wolfgang, Petra and Julia are the most wonderful hosts. I suggest the Watzmann Suite on the top floor

I can not express enough praise about this hotel. It's a family-run hotel and Wolfgang and Petra and their kids are the most passionate people about running a business

Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. Pretty much all we needed and in a convenient location at a reasonable price.

Very friendly staff, nice rooms and right downtown. Only downside is how expensive it is, but then again the proximity to the train station makes up for it (we had an early train to catch the following morning).

It was as close to an "American breakfast" that we've seen in a German hotel. It was walking distance to quite a few things including the train station

To go to attractions or restaurants, you basically have to change trains in the city center

We stayed in the hotel for only one night. It’s is just on the outskirts of the main town but a nice walk along the river. I would suggest having a car as the main market square is quite a walk and all uphill

Hotel Koninggsee has a good location, minimum order for a card payment is €20. We had our dinner followed by blueberry cheesecake and it was too tasty.. pork knuckle was a bit over cooked/burnt.

Our Service dog is well trained and I make sure to clean and pick up after she goes potty, as a dog owner I find it grotesque when people leave their dogs feces just anywhere and ruin the privileges for other dog owners

Still sometimes people are hesitant to allow dogs, but not a single problem there. The dog was even offered water when I didn't bring any

Despite the direct location on the alpine road, you can sleep peacefully through the triple-glazed windows

Street in front of the hotel is sometimes a bit noisy (had a room facing the street), but with the windows closed you can't hear anything. Hardly any traffic at night, so you can sleep with the window open

We all were able to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and we used the hiking trails a lot. All I can say is thank you so much Hindenburglinde and Staff we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again soon

We relaxed at the wellness center daily and we enjoyed the delicious variety of food at the restaurant tremendously. The desserts are out of this world and they even had Napa Valley Wine

After 5pm, late check-in is required and we have just done that. You just have to contact the hotel (I did it via email) and they will send you instructions on how to perform the late check-in

We were a big group of 48 people, the hotel is big enough for groups. The communication with the staff was excelent, Mr. Bazala came 20 km to invite us and bring us our guests cards

Best stake in have had in Germany and a wonderful staff. Delicious 5 course meal with surf and turf for 40 Euro. Side not - in Germany is a standard to cook a steak medium. You have to ask cooked differently

This is easily the best ibis we have stayed in, situated in the centre of the beautiful town of Bad Reichenhall it is in a great location to explore Berchtesgaden national park and with the free transport pass you can even get to Salzburg

I liked very much the underground tunnel between two hotel buildings, there are several showcases with awards, bikes and paper articles about winning the Iron man championship- was verty interesting to pass there

While we didn't stay at the hotel, we popped in for a coffee and cake (the apple cake was AMAZING), and had a lovely time with our daughter. It is very quiet and peaceful, we wished we could have stayed
