Check-in/Check-out The hall is huge and a perfect combination of tradition and modernity, the smiling people at the desk were also professional, fast, uncomplicated and explained very well the hotel facilities

It is exactly at the level that you would expect concerning all aspects: food selection, concierge service, staff professionalism, or concern for the clients' satisfaction

I mostly liked the indoor fireplace and the cozy atmosphere it offered as well as the small library in front of the reception

Spa/ Fitness Room This area can be improved, too small for the size of the hotel, other hotels offer more, also from the style point of view. But a project is in the pipeline in the next times

The check-out was quick: a small good-bye gift from the region could not miss, very appreciated. My car was already outside the hotel, it was not necessary to ask

Wonderful location, but the room was hot. Had the leave the balcony door open to the October air to cool it down. Disappointed that the Panorama Restaurant was closed for private events both nights.

Absolutely fantastic! Friends of ours were staying here for a few days and we stayed just the night in a city-facing room but it was amazing. Loved everything about this hotel

The location is simply breathtaking, nestled amidst some of the most beautiful mountains I've ever seen. They offer an impressive variety of steam and sauna rooms

The servers were nice, competent and helpful, always greeting you when you walk by. Also the lobby was very big and comfortable with nice chairs and sofas, perfect for playing cards or having a drink

We got a family room for our family of four and it's great (nearly a suite for a very good value). Very convenient to town and a decent breakfast

The pool is a bit small and can get loud but was appreciated since it was very hot while we were here

There was free parking at the back. The beds were okay, so was the bath room. We found the room was to hot during the night. We made use of the pool which was good, however if you use one their towels it costs you €5

Got a great spacious room with super comfortable beds, a balcony with nice view to the Alps. Also included was a complementary breakfast. There is also plenty of parking available for free of charge

Very varying room sizes. The food is okay, not good nor bad. Service is fine. But the cleaning of the rooms could be stepped up.

5 euros it was a STEAL! It was filled with morel and chanterelle mushrooms (which happen to be my two favorite mushrooms)! Try it!!! If you like mushrooms you will NOT be disappointed! I would absolutely stay here again and do hope to do so again in the near future!!

The first thing that struck us about this hotel was how incredibly open and welcoming the ladies at the front desk were—they really made us feel excited about our stay and that we were well taken care of! Breakfast was jaw-dropping (even by German hotel standards, not just deprived American ones) and the people working the breakfast provided excellent service

Nice clean rooms. The have several options if you want another pillow or blanket. Very Nice staff. They offer sauna and masssges (for a cost of course). Nice restaurant with a view 😍

We loved this hotel and Berchtesgaden is beautiful. Good facilities and clean, giant bedrooms and we had a beautiful balcony over looking the trees and mountains. Visited in October so the trees were changing colours

Fantastic authentic Hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay! We upgraded to half board on arrival and enjoyed a delicious 5 course meal for a very reasonable price!

The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the main town however the route is pretty and alongside the river so did not feel like a task!

Our employees have strict instructions to wear a mask around the mouth and nose. We constantly remind them of this and in intense one-on-one conversations, pointed out the importance of the mask for some employees

Tables are disinfected after guests leave. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that new guests take their seats without waiting for the table to be cleaned and disinfected

The Hotel is a bit old, but the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably the best aspect. It's a 5 minutes drive to the Königssee parking lot

We were pleased to get a family room here as a walk-in. The family room was very spacious and had one large bed and two twin beds. The breakfast is included in the price

It was as close to an "American breakfast" that we've seen in a German hotel. It was walking distance to quite a few things including the train station

I really enjoyed my 4D/3N stay (in June 2021) at this lovely hotel. I arrived a day earlier than planned but was promptly accommodated. It's conveniently located near the train station, as well as the center of town

The bed was somehow not comfortable for us. It gets over soon and was never refilled. The warm food was always so little. Don't think there's a vegan option at all, probably need to preorder

Have stayed here for 2 to 3 weeks since 2015, except last year, and would not stay anywhere else. Wolfgang, Petra and Julia are the most wonderful hosts. I suggest the Watzmann Suite on the top floor

I can not express enough praise about this hotel. It's a family-run hotel and Wolfgang and Petra and their kids are the most passionate people about running a business

Clean, modern, good price, nice staff, good food, good view, huge room, comfy beds. The room is equipped with a kitchen, and the bathroom is very clean. The balcony is huge and offers a very nice view to the mountain

During the corona, they maintain a good hygienic practice and also gave us extra mask/disinfection handsoap. In general there is really nothing to complain about and we enjoyed our stay here very much

Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. Pretty much all we needed and in a convenient location at a reasonable price.

Very friendly staff, nice rooms and right downtown. Only downside is how expensive it is, but then again the proximity to the train station makes up for it (we had an early train to catch the following morning).

A great place a stones throw from the historical Altstadt. (turn left out of the hotel and left again opposite the church). Upper rooms with balconies have beautiful views of the mountains above you

The entire experience at Hotel Krone was awesome! We were greeted by a friendly face and very warmly. The hotel is situated above the historic town and the views from our balcony were absolutely incredible

We found Hotel Krone to be a great choice for our stay in Berchtesgaden and would absolutely stay here again. Rooms were spacious with plenty of room for two of us with several suitcases

But above all, ask for a room with a view, as the surrounding mountains offer an unrivaled panorama, which you can also enjoy from the terrace

Definitely make it a point to enjoy breakfast on their terrace because the gardens in the foreground of massive mountains are breathtaking

The view is absolutely breathtaking! Breakfast was buffet style with many options. Our room was just what I pictured a room wood be like in such a scenic alpine setting, with large windows, balconies and comfy beds.
