Where to stay with pets in Berchtesgaden

I advise everyone in the winter, in Sunny weather in the outdoor pool with your favorite . And then the sauna and into the snow . The Breakfast is super . But cheaper and tastier to eat in the village.

You can see various attractions in Berchtesgaden from a distance. The mountain behind is the Eagle's Nest. The breakfast is also very rich, with buffet and a la carte, and the view is excellent

The environment is great, with the Alps just outside the room. The breakfast is rich, and the dinner in the hotel restaurant is also great. A satisfying vacation.

Even the hotel has started to use recycled slippers, saying that it is environmentally friendly and cost-saving, but overall it is good. Driving in the middle of the mountain is more flexible

We booked a balcony room, and the pillows in the room were too soft and uncomfortable to sleep. The surrounding environment is first-class and invincible, and I took many beautiful photos

Especially the restaurant, we booked a candlelight dinner in advance, and the hotel also helped to customize tiramisu cake. It was an unforgettable journey!

Wonderful location, but the room was hot. Had the leave the balcony door open to the October air to cool it down. Disappointed that the Panorama Restaurant was closed for private events both nights.

The hotel is fully equipped with everything you could need: from ultra-relaxing spas and massages to delicious food paired with panoramic views of the stunning mountains

The servers were nice, competent and helpful, always greeting you when you walk by. Also the lobby was very big and comfortable with nice chairs and sofas, perfect for playing cards or having a drink

The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to be well-connected to the old town and transportation hubs, plus they have a gorgeous view of the mountains

Beautiful hotel and very warm hospitality. Lovely view of the alps from the rooms and the restaurant Christina at the restaurant was especially caring towards my family.

The property is located at very(!) mountainous terrain, it is really tough to get there by foot , and carrying luggage is making it really painful

Luckily the receptionist was very nice, although she also gave a recommendation that didn't work out and caused more work for us (that in the restaurant downstairs dogs are allowed and they should have space - of course, they were full)

If we would've had space in Zum Fassl (the cellar where dogs are allowed), we probably would've rated it high separately, but this review has to cover both hotel and hotel restaurant

So we 'had to' eat dinner on the ground floor where dogs are not allowed, so we took him back to the room first

The bed was somehow not comfortable for us. It gets over soon and was never refilled. The warm food was always so little. Don't think there's a vegan option at all, probably need to preorder

I really enjoyed my 4D/3N stay (in June 2021) at this lovely hotel. I arrived a day earlier than planned but was promptly accommodated. It's conveniently located near the train station, as well as the center of town

Have stayed here for 2 to 3 weeks since 2015, except last year, and would not stay anywhere else. Wolfgang, Petra and Julia are the most wonderful hosts. I suggest the Watzmann Suite on the top floor

I can not express enough praise about this hotel. It's a family-run hotel and Wolfgang and Petra and their kids are the most passionate people about running a business

Clean, modern, good price, nice staff, good food, good view, huge room, comfy beds. The room is equipped with a kitchen, and the bathroom is very clean. The balcony is huge and offers a very nice view to the mountain

During the corona, they maintain a good hygienic practice and also gave us extra mask/disinfection handsoap. In general there is really nothing to complain about and we enjoyed our stay here very much

We had a great experience staying here. There were plenty of activities close by, including tours and hikes. Staff was welcoming and polite. Meal options are fantastic in the area

However, there is no mart near the apartment, so you have to take a car

Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. Pretty much all we needed and in a convenient location at a reasonable price.

Very friendly staff, nice rooms and right downtown. Only downside is how expensive it is, but then again the proximity to the train station makes up for it (we had an early train to catch the following morning).

A great place a stones throw from the historical Altstadt. (turn left out of the hotel and left again opposite the church). Upper rooms with balconies have beautiful views of the mountains above you

The entire experience at Hotel Krone was awesome! We were greeted by a friendly face and very warmly. The hotel is situated above the historic town and the views from our balcony were absolutely incredible

We found Hotel Krone to be a great choice for our stay in Berchtesgaden and would absolutely stay here again. Rooms were spacious with plenty of room for two of us with several suitcases

The rooms are small , but quaint, with beautiful woodwork in the traditional Bavarian style. The bathroom very modern and clean

We were pleased to get a family room here as a walk-in. The family room was very spacious and had one large bed and two twin beds. The breakfast is included in the price

It was as close to an "American breakfast" that we've seen in a German hotel. It was walking distance to quite a few things including the train station

Authentic Bavaria This is the second time we have stayed here, and it keeps getting better! If you are looking for a quaint authentic German mountain hotel this is what you want! They are friendly and the breakfast is amazing! I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Alpenhotel Fischer. The staff were lovely, speaking great English but being patient in letting me try speaking German too. Hotel facilities were great with breakfast being a highlight

Lots of choice and all very fresh. The room (117) was spacious and clean. The location is on the edge of Berchtesgaden and right next to a supermarket which was very handy

This is not a criticism as it was nice to be out of the centre when we were ready to retire for the night, but merely something I wanted to point out for future guests

We visited this Restaurant during a journey through Oberbayern. The room was very big and the service was warm, friendly and efficient. They have a big parking lot where you can charge your EV also

With that said, all I’d point out is that to get to Berchtesgaden centre, it’s around a 25 minute walk, with some uphill in either direction

Our employees have strict instructions to wear a mask around the mouth and nose. We constantly remind them of this and in intense one-on-one conversations, pointed out the importance of the mask for some employees

Tables are disinfected after guests leave. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that new guests take their seats without waiting for the table to be cleaned and disinfected

Terrific facilities(best sauna I have been in). Interior decorating was very well done and pleasant. The staff was very accommodating. Evening was expertly prepared and the presentation rivaled a 5 Star Hotel

The view is absolutely breathtaking! Breakfast was buffet style with many options. Our room was just what I pictured a room wood be like in such a scenic alpine setting, with large windows, balconies and comfy beds.

Great hotel! Wonderful location too, 15 minute walk into the Bertchesgarten, we walked several beautiful routes on an evening. Rooms comfortable and clean, fridge, hairdryer

If driving to it, you have to come out of the city centre, turn left up a long hill and then very sharp right, although there is a turning on the left for you to use to get the car round, else you will never do it without causing other drivers difficulty

Perfect for family vacation, relaxing environment, pool and sauna available. Tourist pack invludes public transportation, so that you can enjoy beer oitside

Once up the hill on the right drive round a sharp bend on the left and past the hospital on the right. Entrance is on a sharp left and there is parking both front and right

Breakfast is excellent and for those interested in hiking the walk into town is beautiful. Rooms are lovely too but if you have difficulty using the stairs take the lift

The owners seemed friendly, but we got off to a rough start, we received an email from them the day of our booking telling us we could only check in between 2 and 6 and if we arrived after 6 we would not be able to check in
