Only be aware: it’s 3km up from the Mosel, 3 very steep kilometers, which is hell for cyclists, and it causes you to stay where you are once there…

I only came for a day spa. Lovely place,- modern..clean. Girl at the reception was very kind and friendly., spoke good English. Enough to do for a day - good swimming area with jacuzzi, enough sun beds. I loved the area with fireplace at the pool and the sun terrace. Lunch was OK. Buffet - priced 18,50€ . Quality was so so but there were enough options. Loved the variety of juices, coffee and cake...

The rooms are modern. Really nice bath and furniture. But I'm missing the air condition. With 38 degrees over day temperature outside... I would really recommend an air on in the room otherwise you can't get any sleep. Anyways, the spa is like a maze. Nice clean rooms, nice breakfast, but hostess is no longer friendly if we didn't buy wine from them. In the evening it is not allowed to sit in the guest room and it is not possible to get coffee, tea or soft drinks.

Thank you for the week! We have fond memories of the Löwen family. Both the senior citizens and the boss made every effort and looked after the guests. The rooms were cleaned properly every day, the breakfast was good and sufficient. In the evenings in the wine tavern, we had interesting conversations with the family. Was very good. The wine is also highly recommended;)

We were guests in a great apartment with a very nice panoramic view of the Moselle and the surrounding area. The hosts are very, very nice and concerned. We had a lot of fun and would be happy to come back.

We felt like we were in a family, Ms. Löwen pulled a leg for every guest. Nice and good hotel with a good restaurant with specials from the Italian kitchen, the service in the hotel and restaurant were super, friendly people, and always helpfull, grazie Mille Salvatore and team This small village Kues is nice and very authentic, the hotel is so situated that it is quiet, and the have a garage to park the bike.

Great location and friendly staff. Room was a bit dated, and bed was not very comfortable. Loved having an extra space ("conservatory") but the couch was old and sagging. Parking was a ways down the street and there didn't seem to be a way to drive to the front of the hotel to drop off luggsge. Breakfast buffet on the other hand was amazing, though no coffee refills were offered.

We had a very nice room with a roof terrace and a view of the Moselle, everything was clean and well-kept. It's a historic building, so I can see the light soundproofing in the rooms. The only drawback, we booked with a dog. Breakfast included. But the dog is not allowed to stay alone in the room? But not in the breakfast room either... uhmmm, how am I supposed to have breakfast then, please? Therefore...

Beautiful property... about a 25min walk to historical down town. You can take a cab but it’s a awesome walk thought wine country! The hotel staff was very nice this is a large property with lots todo.

It's good, not excellent. It's dated, the "rooms" are pretty small but the apartments are of a good size. Plumbing, kitchen, shower/bathtub is ok. German granny style :). Colors are basically Brown and dark brown and tad's of gold. (Don't get your hopes up, it's all fake). In this (extreme) hot period it's also very hot and humid in the rooms even at night. (No airco) Food is reasonable, nothing to...

Needs work Wlan is bad, food wasn't very good. The little shop wasn't opened long enough. To much meds given. For me it was a waste of time.

Very simple hotel. The room functional, clean with a nice bathroom. The location in the old town great only for sleeping very noisy. The breakfast not appealing. Very basic, paid €100 for one night in a double room. Wouldn't book there again.

Barrier-free, as there is an elevator and only a small step in the shower. But the entrance cannot be reached by car. The location in the old town is otherwise great, but you have to be able to walk well. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately the beds were a disaster. The staff was very friendly!

Hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. This has the best private sauna. There is plenty of parking for everyone. 4 stars because breakfast was packed and we had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated. Rooms are clean.

Tucked away from the touristy side of Bernkastel Kues - on the Kues side of the Mosel River. A real gem. Super friendly service made us feel really welcome. Comfortable modern rooms with more amenities than we expected! Added bonus was the hotel restaurant Ochs where we had dinner the night we stayed over. Amazing regional dishes.

Lovely spot - I called in for some food and a pint, Got the Schnitzel (Deep fried pork) they give you 2 of them with the mushroom sauce and fried potatoes it was lovely. Nice setting and very relaxing over looking the river at the other side of the road.

Stayed here in 2015 fantastic breakfast layout great service from all the staff and nice clean rooms. Lots of free parking and only 5 minutes walk in to town just takes longer to stagger back after a few local drinks.

Absolutely great service at the hotel, great location for walking, boat trip etc. If your by car ask about parking ticket in the reception, 3 days costs 12€.

Stayed here last year and returning this year, an excellent comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Bernkastel-Kues is an exquisite place to visit loads of bars and restaurants and boat trips a must!

Really nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Amazing food. It is a bit away from the centre, but it is totally worth it. Very quite, tranquil, very comfortable rooms. I would definitely recommend it!!

on the last evening of our stay we wanted to give the small hotel restaurant a chance. and were surprised. you can expect really good, honest BUT simple home-style cooking in the restaurant zur post. no tourist trap! the food here is much better than the food that you can get in the relevant restaurants in the old town. these "top" rated tourist traps were all a horror from a culinary point of view...

Stayed here several times with small groups of 6-8 people whilst making a wine tour around France and Germany. This hotel is always the favourite. Nice rooms, good food and wine and perfectly located.
