Could be improved – issues with communication and breakfast

The hotel has a convenient location and clean rooms, but our stay was affected by some organizational issues. We were told at check-in that canceling the second night would result in a small charge (around 10%), but at check-out we were charged significantly more, which was unexpected and disappointing.
The reception was unstaffed for a while in the morning, which caused some delays.
Breakfast was very simple, with a limited selection and no hot dishes.
With better communication and service at reception, the experience could have been much better.

Stayed here for a couple of days whilst in Dusseldorf a little out of the way from Hauptbahnof train station, around 20 minutes walk. Self checkin when you arrive on the kiosk in the lobby and one just outside entrance. The room was pleasant enough, but i would have liked a kettle to make a hot drink. A couple of vending machines in the lobby one serving up hotdrinks.

For the price that I paid I was really satisfied. The bed and pillows were comfy enough, the room was cozy enough and the WiFi worked well. Would definitely recommend. For me the big advantage was that it was also within walking distance to the train station and Mitsubishi Electric Halle too :)

Plus for location as it's close to the train station. Overall the rooms are good: clean, good bed, good shower, friendly staff at reception. But the minus is the smell of cigarettes or maybe exhaust gases which don't disappear no matter if you open a window or turn on the air ventilation system. So sleeping was really tough because of the heavy smell. The hotel is located at a crossroad, so sleeping with windows open isn't possible, too loud. And one minus is for house cleaning personnel, which was so frustrating while you stay for just one night and check out at 12 pm, but the staff keep on entering your room while you sleep, and then come back again. I think they just don't set up the service about it, because it feels like the cleaning personnel just open random rooms without knowing if it's necessary or not. So better just put that paper tag on your door to not get disturbed.

Overpriced, basic but clean accommodation
Overnight business trip.
Quite good location fro geeting to the old town, and the messe exhibition center by underground.
Just extremly basic.
No water or tea coffee making in the room.
Soap showergel in 1. No other toiletries
$210 for 1 night no breakfast inc. I feel its over priced

We stayed here after a concert in the mitsubishi electric halle. It is the perfect location for this. The hotel was clean and beds comfy. Parking in a garage in the hotel for only 8€ a night was great!
The staff were all really friendly. I will definitely be back.

Central and practical in Düsseldorf. Good service with a reception that is always open. Our room was in the basement with only the emergency exit door to the back yard as a window. Somehow the room also felt slightly unfinished or at least done after the rest of the hotel, but everything worked like it should. Good value for money.
