Great hotel for the price. The room was spacious enough. Comfortable pillows. Nice parking - big and wide. Enormous choice of breakfast options. However the only downside of the hotel is the fact that there was no free place at 9:00 to sit down and eat breakfast (there were only two of us). We noticed that the hotel advises to go before 9, however we didn’t expect such a problem. We waited for 30min and still didn’t find a table so we decided to just grab a coffee and leave. We don’t think that people wondering around the lobby area with food is a good idea.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf, which we approached with great expectations, turned into an absolute nightmare. A significant amount of money was stolen from our room, and it is evident that this could only have happened in an environment where only cleaning staff had access. We immediately reported the incident to the reception, but the hotel management completely refused to address the issue or offer any solution. It even seemed as if they implied that such incidents were normal, as they made no effort to resolve our grievance.
This incident ruined our vacation, and the substantial amount of money we planned to spend here was taken from us. The lack of security measures and the irresponsibility of the hotel management are unacceptable. I will never consider staying at this establishment again and cannot recommend it to anyone. I strongly advise others to take this situation into account before booking a stay at this hotel.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Düsseldorf, Germany. Unfortunately, our trip was ruined due to the theft of a significant amount of money from our belongings during our stay.
When we reported the issue to hotel management, the response was highly unsatisfactory. The staff dismissed the possibility of employee involvement without conducting a proper investigation. Moreover, no adequate measures were taken to address the situation or support us, leaving the impression that such incidents may not be uncommon at the property.
This lack of concern and action from the management has left us frustrated and disappointed. Despite our requests, the stolen money was not reimbursed, nor were we offered any form of compensation. As a result, we deeply regret choosing this hotel and cannot recommend it to others, especially those bringing valuables.
We urge you to thoroughly investigate this matter and take immediate steps to ensure similar incidents do not happen to other guests. This situation has severely damaged our trust in the brand and tainted our entire vacation experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable.
However, the breakfast experience was far from satisfactory. The space allocated for breakfast is much too small for the number of guests, making it feel like a nightmare to find a spot to sit. On top of that, the staff did not exhibit professional behavior, and it seemed like they had reserved tables for other German-speaking guests, leaving the rest of us struggling to find a seat.

Close walk to train station! The front desk workers were so incredibly nice. The AC worked well and the beds were shockingly comfortable. Hotel was very clean. I couldn't believe how quiet this hotel was. The breakfast was actually very good and we loved the fancy coffee machines at the buffet! Great cappuccinos. I would definitely stay here again!

The living room has amendments for office work.
Comfortable chairs, on table ac plugs for computer.
Breakfast is ok.
Abbas, the bartender makes you feel unique and comfortable, like home. Definitely an asset for the hotel.

Close to the center of Dusseldorf this large hotel is located in a bit of a more industrial part of the city. The room looks modern and clean, and the beds are above average.
Especially the bathroom was very comfortable with a large and good working shower.
There is a parking garage below the building which you can use as a visitor, but the 30 euro price is a bit insane in my opinion.

Brilliant hotel! All the staff are nice and helpful. My Wife and I came early to check in and they were very accommodating . We appreciated it as we had lots of luggage and a lot of time to kill. Made the day so much smoother. Breakfast included was also a great touch.

I stayed there for four nights. Overall everything was great. I liked the breakfast menu. I also two times requested room service which they did it.
In room almost everything is there except toothbrush and toothpaste which you have to go and request then they will give you something not high quality.
Air conditioner was good.
With this price I have stayed in better hotels but this one will be my favorite also if I ever want to come again to Düsseldorf.
Location is really good and classy. It’s also near to main train station.

Rooms are well appointed sparkling clean and everything works. It's a little bit of the beaten path,,15 minutes brisk walk to the hauptbahnhof. Great breakfast buffet 😋
