Bathroom in our room smells bad, probably from the water pipes clogging even before we were using them. Reception is a nightmare. The receptionist girl talking to us was giving faces and didn’t even do the standard protocol of saying when is breakfast (from what time to what time), what time can we check out,… We had to ask her for her to reply.

Also earlier the week before we checked in we had our German colleague to call the hotel to see if we can store some frozen food samples (for our business trip) and they told my colleague on the phone that it was ok to do so. When we checked in that receptionist girl said we cannot store frozen sample in the hotel freezer. So I called my German colleague again to talk to her in German and I don’t know what they said in German, but my colleague said that all is solved and we can store the frozen samples now in the hotel. The receptionist just walked away after the call and 2 minutes later she came to me and said “My manager will not allow it and I’m done talking to you.” Clearly we were just having a polite conversation and requesting her and how she responded could be less rude. She could have just nicely responded that there was some miscommunication and we can no longer store the frozen samples. The attitude and faces she was throwing at us just shows how unprofessional their staffs are.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms and nice ambiance. Most of the staff spoke English and everybody was polite. The breakfast can be very overcrowded and we waited for quite a while for a table. People tend to reserve tables (understandably so as there is a shortage) by putting a jacket or a bottle which leads to many tables not being used. The main reason this is a 3-star rating is because we had a very unfortunate situation with the parking. We knew we would be arriving late after a long and tiring drive, so we called in advance to pre-book parking. We were told that the parking is big and no reservation is required. This is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel in the first place. Unfortunately, upon our arrival at midnight we were informed that the parking is full and we needed to find street parking which took us an additional 45 minutes after an already tiring day.

No service phone in the room. Difficult to contact reception for any requirements if you are on a higher floor. No drinking water or coffee making facilities in the room.
Went to get drinking water from reception, costed me 6 euros for a bottle. Not many options for hot breakfast. Only option on daily basis is scrambled eggs and boiled German sausage. Overall, Not a good value for money.

Everything was okay except for the fact that the air conditioning didn’t work at all. Since our check in our room was set to 5°C and after a whole day it was still hot. We asked the staff and they said there was an issue with the AC in the whole hotel. I don’t believe it, because why didn’t they tell us at the checkin? And after checking other reviews it’s clear that the AC hasn’t been working for months.

I booked a two-day room with breakfast.
As usual, I paid for the booking on the check-in, and everything was fine until the last day.
On that day, at around 7:20 AM, my wife and I went to have breakfast but it was required for me to go to the Reception, there the guy started accusing me of not paying for my stay, I said I had the receipt, and asked if I could bring it after the breakfast as I had a train scheduled at 8 AM.
The receptionist didn't allow it and disabled the access card to my room, all our things were locked inside the room, I had to go back to the Reception for him to enable it again so that I could get the receipt.
The guy didn't provide any excuse for his mistake and as all of this took too much time I wasn't able to have breakfast. He was very rude.

Run away from this hotel! I stayed there with my husband in July 2024. And on the last day of my stay, the receptionist interrupted us in the middle of breakfast and didn't let us finish because he ACCUSED us that we hadn't paid for our stay, even though I had paid for everything at check-in. We went to the room to collect our payment receipt and he had blocked our access, so we asked him to let us in and showed him the receipt. He was so rude and impolite, every word without a hint of kindness. After we showed him, he kept quiet, HE DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. We didn't finish our coffee, we checked out and left! Absurd to treat us like this!!!

Carpet (on the floors leading up to the room) stinks and looks like it is in urgent need of cleaning. Walls scratched and dirty, renovation necessary.
Breakfast is good, nice service staff in the breakfast area.
Rooms are ok, simple, but offer everything you need for a quick stop-over.

The room is good, but the front staff management is poor. I waited for 20 minutes to check in with a staff member while four other guests were also waiting to check in and retrieve their luggage. Eventually, I allowed the fourth customer to jump the queue because they had to catch a train.

Furthermore, there was a communication error regarding breakfast. The front desk told me that my room included breakfast, but when I went to the breakfast lounge, I had to pay. Despite asking a staff member yesterday who insisted that breakfast was included in my room.

Location is decent, close to the Hbf station but in a quiet neighborhood. Room is clean and tidy, but the chair in the room is so painful to sit on. They have a scheme that if you don't need room cleaning you can get a free drink coupon. Nice incentive. Breakfast has a lot of variety. Very German I would say. You have savory and sweet options, and both are delicious in their tastes!

Comfortable hotel with a nice bar and games area (table football, jenga). Spacious rooms. The breakfast buffet is quite pricey (€18.50) but it's probably worth it. Lots of options including loose leaf tea, range of coffees, pancakes made freshly. The service at the bar in the evening was disappointing. Two nights in a row we had to wait at least 20 minutes to be served. Other than that, the service at reception and during breakfast was great!
