My husband and I stayed here for two nights as we were in the city for a wedding. I think the hotel is really nice but the rooms seem a bit dated. Great comfortable hotel with good spa and a restaurant.

When you first come to the hotel, it looks nice but not overwhelming. The quality of the cars parked at the entrance is a good indicator of what to expect. The online images of the lobby do not in any way convey the grandeur of the place The place opens up in a cavernous space, seemingly breaking at least a few laws of nature. Well, due to renovation, no room upgrade and executive lounge, located at a restaurant, proved to be a subpar experience. Staff were nice and professional. Took taxi / uber to the city center as it takes about 30 minutes by foot. I'd wait until renovation is completed before visiting again.

excellent in most aspects for a business hotel. most front desk staff are not so friendly or enthusiastic. i waited until 1630 to get my room because it was not cleaned. room aircon didn’t work even with the window closed, but luckily it was cold outside. walking distance to the Rhine riverside park, and following the river brings you to the old town.

We had a great experience with this Hilton. Had a small hiccup at check-in (room not ready at 2:30pm). But afterwards, I as a Gold Member got upgraded to the best suite. Special thanks to Victor for arranging this and making our stay so pleasant & memorable!

Very friendly service. Room is quiet convenient and clean. Bed is very comfortable. Have not tried their breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Hotel is near the city and there are supermarkets and restaurants around. There is also a very nice park nearby for relaxing morning walks.

Everything about the rooms here was comfortable. Great shower pressure. Nice bar/cafe and a variety of gathering spaces in the lobby. 24 hours self serve center for snacks and drinks. The staff were fantastic (dealing with a tired American) and made the whole experience enjoyable.

Very nice hotel. Simple yet easy to use and good check out time. Unfortunately it was unclear up front that the parking was €15.50 per night so please be aware of this. For those using EV charging, the rate is €0.60/kW (June 2025) and is a 22kW charger.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable, it had a built-in speaker so I could play my music (honestly my favorite feature). The bathroom was clean and had its own AC, nice touch! The bar was open 24/7 and has a pizza menu, it was great for after the concert I attended, because I was hungry! Lastly, parking costs 15€ per day.

This hotel confuses me. On the one hand, it's brand new, has a really nice lobby and bar, and the room is very spacious and modern. On the other hand, the bathroom was dirty (hair everywhere, including on the towels). An iron and ironing board costs a EUR 40 deposit, cash only (?!). Located near the tram where you can teach the city center within 15 minutes you can find a very nice business hotel. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. The only small downfall I could find was the quality of the food not being consistent. The veal liver was undercooked, but this fault was duly corrected. I enjoy visiting this hotel

I chose this hotel as it was closer to the airport than where I had been staying to make catching the morning flight easier. This rooms are in need of a remodel. While they are acceptable, they seem to have been done last about 10 years ago. The restaurant food was delicious and I was even able to have dessert delivered to my room. Good service!

This is a really good modern hoilday inn. Staff at reception very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and well appointed. The free WiFi worked well. Stayed for two nights here, and overall would use again. The rooms were clean, with all we needed. No noise at night. Staff on front desk very helpful. Had a drink in the bar, barman from Peru was hilarious. Didn’t do the breakfast, ate locally instead. Location is good for the train centre, a bit of walk to the nightlife.

We stayed here for one night to have a short break and enjoyed our stay. The sauna is very small and can only fit four people. Breakfast was great and the staff wonderful. The view is unbeatable!

I had a great time with this family. I was there for my birthday trip together with my friends. I had requested a room with a bathtub on the balcony which was made possible by Marina( many thanks to her for her hospitality ) The spa was the top notch of this whole stay. My new favorite hotel chain! Eclectic by all means, an experience and adventure in itself. A must see and must stay. The people are young but the service is impeccable. The Van Der Valk hotel is absolutely stunning inside, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. I didnt use the Restaurant so i cannot advise on that but thr Bar is comfortable ,but service can be slow when busy ,only to be expected. Overall i highly rate it

One request: Better bread for breakfast. The current bread has no German quality (too soft). The details: location is OK (500 m from bars and restaurants, 1km from TV tower), very friendly and professional staff, hotel interior is not very exciting, there is a nice outside terrace where you can have breakfast. We got here during the messe for the plastic industry. I have to say that is an average hotel with a superb team of employees that transform your experience into a five stars rating hotel. What else is there? Its a basic clean and functional hotel. The rooms are a decent size and standard for an express hotel. Staff are the best element. Ideally located near an S bahn station and within a short walk of the old town. A few decent German traditional eateries nearby.
