Dusseldorf, Maritim-Platz 1 🧭 Map
Maritim Dusseldorf is really good for the price. The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfy, and the bathrooms well designed with nice fixtures. It's too bad all of the restaurants/ bars are not available likely due to demand or staffing, but overall, it's a great experience and walking to the airport in a couple of minutes makes it my go to hotel in the city.
The rooms were very spacious and clean, with big windows and air conditioning. The hotel offers a good sauna, swimming pool, and gym. The location is perfect, right next to the airport, and the city center is about 15 minutes away by car. The only downside is that the parking is a bit expensive. The breakfast could be improved with a wider variety of food options. I recommend this hotel for a few days...
It has everything I want in an airport hotel: modern clean rooms, professionals to help you, bars and restaurants, and most importantly a walking connection directly to the airport (on the departures level). Just inside the closest entrance to the airport (arrivals level) is a supermarket which allows you to pick up inexpensive food and drinks for your stay.
Hotel is at the airport ca 2 min walk to terminal by a covered walkway so for me very convenient. Short 10 min or less Uber to the Messe. Was very convenient I found. Grocery store in the airport as well as good restaurant choices. May seem a little weird to say that but I found it to be a bonus.
Arrived in the very early morning from a red eye flight and being able to simply walk out of the airport and be in front of the hotel in a matter of minutes was a huge plus. Moreover, the staff was very accommodating and were able to have a room ready for us several hours before our check in time. Really saved the day for us as we were able to take a long nap and take advantage of the entire day in...
The Hotel locates next to the airport. So you can just walk by. Generally, passengers whose flights are canceled stay here. For this reason, you may have to wait a long time to meet the receptionist. The people at the reception are very helpful, friendly and do their job well. There is air conditioning in the rooms, but for some reason it automatically works in cold mode, you have to change it. The...
Very nice staff and clean hotel. It is in the walking distance to the airport I had breakfast and it was amazing Very comfortable clean room It was very clean I stayed there with my family. I had a early flight and hotel let me use the room a couple hours earlier than regular check-in time.

When you first come to the hotel, it looks nice but not overwhelming. The quality of the cars parked at the entrance is a good indicator of what to expect. The online images of the lobby do not in any way convey the grandeur of the place The place opens up in a cavernous space, seemingly breaking at least a few laws of nature. The staff is friendly and all in fluid English.
The hotel is located in front of Koenigallee. The nearby U-Bahn station is D-Graf-Adolf-Platz. So it's located not too far from the old town (everything is walkable IMHO). The hotel building is some kind of fancy metallic structure, with a nicely decorated ground floor and a big open space (10 floors) in the middle of the building. Everywhere in the hotel the decoration has a modern vibe. The room...
Spectacular hotel. Great property. Let down by small details and one or two small issues. Our very first impression of pulling up outside, after a five hour drive, was instead of being offered valet service and our bags taken care of, we were told to drive around to the parking garage and take our own bags to our room, which I thought odd, but that is what we did. Did the same in the way out, much...
The best, always and forever, in all its details, in all aspects, from the beginning of the hotel to the end, and the room is nothing better in terms of cleanliness, arrangement, and attention to the smallest details. And let us not forget the distinguished reception staff, who are very kind and extremely helpful. Thank you for this beautiful stay. See you next time.
I had a great experience at this hotel! Stayed for 4 days during a conference. Best things for me were: 1. The room was very confortable and clean. 2. Included breakfast is awesome! 3. Holmes Places fitness gym is also great. A lot of machines, but you can find equipment for training old school-style.
This beautiful hotel is perfectly located and has wonderful spacious rooms. The service was impeccable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for the price. The room was spacious enough. Comfortable pillows. Nice parking - big and wide. Enormous choice of breakfast options. However the only downside of the hotel is the fact that there was no free place at 9:00 to sit down and eat breakfast (there were only two of us). We noticed that the hotel advises to go before 9, however we didn’t expect such a problem. We waited for 30min...
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable. However, the breakfast experience was far from satisfactory. The space allocated for breakfast is much too small for the number of guests, making it feel like a nightmare to find a spot to sit. On top of that, the staff did not exhibit professional behavior...
Very kind people, always willing help with your requests. Hotel is relatively new. The living room has amendments for office work. Comfortable chairs, on table ac plugs for computer. Breakfast is ok. Abbas, the bartender makes you feel unique and comfortable, like home. Definitely an asset for the hotel.
Close to the center of Dusseldorf this large hotel is located in a bit of a more industrial part of the city. The room looks modern and clean, and the beds are above average. Especially the bathroom was very comfortable with a large and good working shower. There is a parking garage below the building which you can use as a visitor, but the 30 euro price is a bit insane in my opinion.
Close walk to train station! The front desk workers were so incredibly nice. The AC worked well and the beds were shockingly comfortable. Hotel was very clean. I couldn't believe how quiet this hotel was. The breakfast was actually very good and we loved the fancy coffee machines at the buffet! Great cappuccinos. I would definitely stay here again!
Brilliant hotel! All the staff are nice and helpful. My Wife and I came early to check in and they were very accommodating . We appreciated it as we had lots of luggage and a lot of time to kill. Made the day so much smoother. Breakfast included was also a great touch.

Rooms seem very dated with the decor and multiple power sockets in my room were damaged. The shampoo bottle in the bathroom was cracked and full of old shower water and shampoo. Shower was very powerful which is great and the bed was pretty comfy too. Breakfast was decent as is always the case at Hilton hotels and I had a great burger in the evening too with good service from the guy at the bar too...
Queen room was a lovely size, very spacious with a huge desk to work at. Shower was bloody brilliant! But the service at the check in desk was a little slower than one would have expected. First drink at the bat took a while, but when the bar tender knew we were there, he was very attentive.
Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Daniel at the bar is the man. Fantastic breakfast buffet with many different options. The staff did a great job dealing with the worldwide computer outage and walking everyone to their rooms. They were gracious under pressure.
Nice hotel, in room refrigerator and the ice makers weren't operating. The hotel is in an office park with only a couple of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was great and the rooms were spacious.
It's an older hotel with some issues in terms of the upkeep but most of the staff are very nice, positives for me would be the breakfast buffet and the gym. The negatives would be the AC system good thing we had cool nights so I opened the window instead. It was very convenient to go to the Messe. Hope they can do some remodeling and upgrade the AC and refs.
Our overall experience wasn’t terrible, but the air conditioning in the room didn’t work very well. They were unable to provide a fan, and the fridge in the room was out of order as well. Despite this their service was very good. They helped me get some flowers to surprise my wife with for our anniversary, and the lady that checked us in was extremely nice.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms and nice ambiance. Most of the staff spoke English and everybody was polite. The breakfast can be very overcrowded and we waited for quite a while for a table. People tend to reserve tables (understandably so as there is a shortage) by putting a jacket or a bottle which leads to many tables not being used. The main reason this is a 3-star rating is because we had a...
Carpet (on the floors leading up to the room) stinks and looks like it is in urgent need of cleaning. Walls scratched and dirty, renovation necessary. Breakfast is good, nice service staff in the breakfast area. Rooms are ok, simple, but offer everything you need for a quick stop-over.
Location is decent, close to the Hbf station but in a quiet neighborhood. Room is clean and tidy, but the chair in the room is so painful to sit on. They have a scheme that if you don't need room cleaning you can get a free drink coupon. Nice incentive. Breakfast has a lot of variety. Very German I would say. You have savory and sweet options, and both are delicious in their tastes!
Comfortable hotel with a nice bar and games area (table football, jenga). Spacious rooms. The breakfast buffet is quite pricey (€18.50) but it's probably worth it. Lots of options including loose leaf tea, range of coffees, pancakes made freshly. The service at the bar in the evening was disappointing. Two nights in a row we had to wait at least 20 minutes to be served. Other than that, the service...
Good location - close to the station and the center. But there are a lot of abandoned wastelands nearby, where there might be a construction site soon. The rooms are very quiet, I didn't hear anyone or anything. Good design of the rooms. Also a few pillows on the bed, you can choose for yourself. Nice staff. For this money - just a paradise place. And on the bar you can find very interesting beer.
Great location, close to central station. Fantastic views from the room and delicious breakfast. Big nice bathroom but no wardrobe or cupboard in the room. Cosmetic mirror was great but did not work every time. The lift door hit me, no sensor to stop closing. Cleaning is not very detailed, we found someone's black long hair in the bathroom. Some bar staff is not polite. Looks like staff turnover is...

Had a lovely trip to the Christmas markets. Booked a room and were lucky to get a free upgrade to a suite. Very spacious, but the bathroom was a bit outdated, with the shower in the bathtub. The bad thing was that it was very warm in the room. Only able to handle it by sleeping with the window open, but still too warm!
Overall, I can recommend the hotel. The location is right at the central, and all the main attractions are easily accessible. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a bit outdated, but still clean and tidy.
I stayed at the Clayton for six nights while traveling for work. I’ve been to Düsseldorf many times. This was my first stay here and I will definitely be back. The location is perfect, very close to the metro and walking distance to Altstadt. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff were all very pleasant to work with. I loved the cocktail bar in the main lobby, great for entertaining...
When Clayton was Nikko, it was our most favorite hotel, always excited to visit. After the hotel changed to Clayton, we see some changes in not so positive ways… Now the hotel is doing reconstruction and the whole quality is even more unsteady. We experienced stinky and unclean rooms. Hopefully the rooms will be fine after the reconstruction and the quality of the hotel will get better again soon....

Hotel is very nice, clean, great rooms that meet the standards of the hotel. Location is also great, really nice neighborhood in little Tokyo and roughly a 10 minute walk to the beginning of the centre / old town. Breakfast was also really nice! Very friendly service. Room is quiet convenient and clean. Bed is very comfortable. Have not tried their breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Hotel is near the city and there are supermarkets and restaurants around. There is also a very nice park nearby for relaxing morning walks.
Staff is friendly, checking in and out were easy. The hotel has a nice central location from where it’s convenient to work attend business calls. The reason for four stars were the room maintenance, which could be better. Also, although the rooms felt clean, I got allergy (maybe because they are old or because there was dust). For the price, the quality could be a bit higher. The hotel has a subway...
Everything about the rooms here was comfortable. Great shower pressure. Nice bar/cafe and a variety of gathering spaces in the lobby. 24 hours self serve center for snacks and drinks. The staff were fantastic (dealing with a tired American) and made the whole experience enjoyable.
The location is great due to easy access to public transport. Rooms are nice and clean. Service was great.
In the central part of the city, near the station. It would be appropriate to say that this hotel is, without exaggeration, one of the best in Dusseldorf. While in this city, be sure to stay here. Comfort and modernity in one word 😉
Pretty good hotel in the middle of the city. Rooms are clean an big. Very good breakfast with a great selection of food. Very friendly staff. It also has a gym. Not that big but for most of the common workouts it's worth it. There are also nicce places around to grab some food.

Great hotel, Hyatt in his repertoire. However, as always, small shoals of the staff and the check-ins. And the place is just great, in the morning watch on the Rhine
Modern and stylish 5 star hotel in the trendy area of the Media Harbour . Most rooms have river and city view . Parking available but expensive .
Get a corner room (1625) & enjoy this at sunrise. Have breakfast at the Club Lounge (w/floor to ceiling views over looking the harbor). It is a cold buffet but they will bring hot food made to order.
Excellent and trendy hotel. Hyatt never disappoints really. Nothing to complaint except that the location is 15-20 min away from the “city centre” But the trade off is you get nice river view. Will come again.
Top class Hyatt Regency. Very nice rooms and great service. Good breakfast however the breakfast in the lounge could be slightly better. The location is beautiful and relatively central.

The hotel is ok. Just no water in rooms, and breakfast space is quite small, so you need to wait while someone will finish or sit together. Bar of the restaurant I guess good for drinks but not for food. Unfortunately. We stayed during the exhibition time in Messe so travel time by taxi was about 10min and that was important for us. Anyway, I recommend this for short stay.
Very nice hotel with very impolite personnel. Despite a two-day reservation, they kicked out one of my group members after one night without even apologizing for their mistake. Stay away from them
The rooms were of great size and very modern. AC worked well and was relatively easy to control. Bathroom was spacious and nicely decorated. Room was very clean. The in-wall speaker was an amazing touch, and gave films and series on a secondary device spatial audio. Music had good sound too. I initially booked for 3 adults in 2 rooms, but was upgraded to a single premium room with 3 beds. Upon request...
Modern hotel with a nice interior style. Its location is excellent if you travel by car. Public transport is not ideal but Uber or Taxi can accommodate therefore. The staff is friendly. Rooms fine and clean with minibar. You can choose - if you do not need to clean your room you can take 1 drink in the bar downstairs which is quite great. Parking underground, It can happend that there will be no space, especially during the fairs. Great breakfast, beer average. Tram stop is very near.
Nice hotel in the outskirts of Dusseldorf. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable . Good value for money. Only downside there was a fire alert making everyone having to evacuate the hotel in the middle of the night . Our children got scared but there was no emergency. We didn’t get any information about the alarm at check out. The TV’s need an upgrade. No way to cast or airplay .
We had a great stay at the hotel. Only stayed one night. Used the restaurant which they opened just for us. This was good service. We wanted initially to eat at the bar like anyone else but several people had brought their dogs in the bar and as my wife has pet allergies we had to leave.
It’s the reception manager; Miss Isabel. A very capable manager with a keen care for her guests. She helped me with the booking and altered room setting to accommodate my family, and assisted me with my next onward NH stay in another country; just amazing. Kudos Isabel, and congrats to your managers on having such a resoundingly strong caring manager. Thank you so much 🙏

Positive: The bed and the breakfast are pretty good (extra point to the guy making the omelettes, so nice) Negative: The swimming pool & sauna closed for several months, super basic amenities (forgot my toothpaste, there wasn't any available when asked at reception + there was no body gel in my room as the bottle was completely empty)

Stayed one night on the way from the airport with kids. Smooth very late check in, everything was nice and ready. Comfy beds, clean and nice bathroom, the room is so cosy and thought through — that surprised me. Nice breakfast with self making pancakes machine — this is so much fun. Thank you for the nice experience!
All good. Clean rooms, quite good breakfast. WiFi pretty weak in the room, fine in the reception area. Parking fee of 18 EUR is quite ridiculous, but there’s limited street parking so not much choice.

This is a decent hotel in a town without top hotels. Average breakfast, good WiFi, bland but well cared for decor. Small shop for snacks on premises. Easy walking distance to some restaurants but otherwise on a boring and quiet road. Gym. The staff were very nice and helpful. All in all a safe if unexciting stop in Dusseldorf
Located near the tram where you can teach the city center within 15 minutes you can find a very nice business hotel. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. The only small downfall I could find was the quality of the food not being consistent. The veal liver was undercooked, but this fault was duly corrected. I enjoy visiting this hotel
I chose this hotel as it was closer to the airport than where I had been staying to make catching the morning flight easier. This rooms are in need of a remodel. While they are acceptable, they seem to have been done last about 10 years ago. The restaurant food was delicious and I was even able to have dessert delivered to my room. Good service!

No fridge or minibar on the room, It is quite important. Noise from highway, bed too soft. Breakfast ok, but really average. Diner was fine, beer very expensive about 9€/0,5l but very tasty. Carpaccio weak, steak great, chocolate desert perfect. Parking 18€/day. From my point of view 3* max.
All in all there is nothing much you can say about the stay, it's not spectacular but also not bad. The only thing I would like to remark is, that in my room it did not seem as if the air conditioning did anything at all. The air coming out of it felt warmer than the air outside, even though it was put at the lowest level (18 Degrees). Breakfast was good!
Fine, no-nonsense hotel. Rooms are good. The breakfast is great, with a good selection of breakfast foods. The man working the breakfast buffet is a dear, and one of the reasons we booked again. He made the day brighter in a very tiresome weekend.
Good location, all the needed facilities available, excellent price. Warmly recommend it for either business or tourism.
Overall it is a very good hotel with the usual amenities you can find in a chain hotel. Very friendly and nice bar staff. The huge drawback is the parking 🅿️ yes located under the hotel but it is expensive € 18. Guests need to have a special price. I am neutral in recommending this hotel.
Was there with a few friends, everyone had a room of their own and none of our air conditioners worked. You could switch it on and of but it did not cool the room down. Combine this with summer and our rooms being on the fourth floor and it was quite unpleasant. But the staff were super friendly and rooms were always cleaned well.

Pretty dang nice. My big complaint is that this is NOT a "free airport shuttle" at all hours or even convenient hours. Had a drink in the bar, barman from Peru was hilarious. Didn’t do the breakfast, ate locally instead. Location is good for the train centre, a bit of walk to the nightlife.
The reception personnel is great, super resolutive, willing always to help and nice going, I can also say the same about the personnel on the bar and breakfast, the breakfast is okay, but it can start becoming repetitive. The hotel rooms are really nice, it is great that you can find an ironing table and iron on your room from moment one. By the other hand, the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired....
Very beautiful hotel with nice ambience. Staff are friendly and helpful. We got a nice suite, spacious and good for three people, but the railway lines opposite the hotel is a little bit noisy. Other than that, the morning view is really beautiful as you can see sunrise. Very good breakfast spread and the croissants were tasty, soft and buttery. Will not hesitate to come back again.
It is a very good hotel with fantastic breakfast. I stayed in other hotels in the city, and this one is definitely my favourite one.
A little off from the center but easy access to anywhere. Quiet rooms with good window isolation despite the train tracks in front of the building. Kind staff, clean spaces, acceptable gym, can’t ask for more. Higher end of a reliable Holiday inn standard.

Very clean and modern hotel. Very good selection for breakfast. It is away from the city (airport area) so no local restaurants in the area apart from the one in the hotel which serves a selection of meals for every taste. Works fine for one night stayover.
Very friendly staff at check-in. Comfortable, modern rooms and good beds and pillows. Service during dinner could be a tad faster. Very nice breakfast. The location is unbeatable if you have a morning flight.
A nice modern hotel in a quiet area. Rooms have a fridge and an area for a microwave but the actual appliance is missing. There is a grocery store 5 minutes away across the bridge. The walk to the airport is 15-20 minutes. The same is true for the metro stations, one to the north and one to the south. They both are on the same "S" line. Taxi fare to the airport is about 10 euros.
Overall a good stay. Needed a close location to the airport. We had a lot id luggage so getting to the bus stop was quite hard, though manageable over a few trips. Room was a good size. Though we had to request many missing items

We spent 5 nights there to attend an exhibition. The airport is a 15 min walk from the airport. There are 2 bus stops around the hotel that would take you back to the airport and from there there is public transport everywhere. The area is very quiet and full of office buildings. There is an Aldi (grocery store) 3 min walking away. There are very few restaurants within walking distance. By default...

Nice Place, friendly & attentive staff, multilingual, Cocktails at top floor with amazing view, Caipirinha needs improvement though 😉 - another goodie’s the sauna also with amazing city views - sadly when we were it wasn’t possible to really enjoy the recreational benefits of it since people were doin’ their stock market telcons in the chill out area. Otherwise a very nice experience. Recommended,...
The hotel is impressive, will definitely visit again. The room design and details - love at the first sight. Breakfast is best hotel breakfast I ever had.
We stayed here for one night to have a short break and enjoyed our stay. The sauna is very small and can only fit four people. Breakfast was great and the staff wonderful. The view is unbeatable!
I had a great time with this family. I was there for my birthday trip together with my friends. I had requested a room with a bathtub on the balcony which was made possible by Marina( many thanks to her for her hospitality ) The spa was the top notch of this whole stay. I will for sure come back again without hesitation.
We loved it here. We stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversary and enjoyed the atmosphere and comfort of the room very much. The view from the bar is outstanding and the cocktails served there seriously exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and enthusiastic. We will definitely return
My new favorite hotel chain! Eclectic by all means, an experience and adventure in itself. A must see and must stay. The people are young but the service is impeccable. I’ve stayed at more renowned chains that could benefit from an apprenticeship to in this hotel to learn about customer oriented service.
