Worst hotel experience I have ever had.

The staff were rude, unhelpful and threatening to my family at breakfast. The woman who runs breakfast is extremely rude and has no customer service skills when dealing with questions and table management.

There were at least 50 unhappy people waiting for a table on a Sunday. The breakfast was clearly overbooked and poorly managed.

Checking in was a similar, unorganised and a 1 hour wait.

Unfortunately the rooms were not much better. Outdated, falling apart with poor ventilation and very noisy outside.

We travel a lot and this was the worst I have ever experienced. Not worth a single penny…

Basic and dated rooms, don’t even have intercom for reception, no fridge, no gym so no idea why it’s classed 4 star I don’t even give them two stars, although staff was very polite and helpful

Got shown multiple rooms. all dirty and disgusting. Also some of the floors had a terrible stench. Staff during check-in was very friendly and understandable. Apparently all photos from the webpage are from a select few refurbished rooms. So unless you are lucky you are in for a terible experience. We could not stay in such horrid enviroment and had to cancel the reservation. When trying to reach the manager the day after, the staff was no longer understandable and we have been unable to reach the manager. STAY AWAY!! Unless you like bed bugs like someone else mentioned? Location is all right though so check out Premier inn on the other side of the block.

Terrible experience at this hotel. The staff working the breakfast room were incredibly rude to our party, and physically assaulted (pushed by the arm) one of us. When I raised this with the manager on duty, her response was “yes I’ll talk to her”. Unbelievable way to treat your guests.

Otherwise, the hotel is just ok. Sketchy area by the HBF, and the rooms are dated. Yes it’s cheap, but you get what you pay for.
