Very nice, clean and spacious rooms but the decor is a bit old-fashioned

Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean and comfy. Breakfast is very reasonable with good variety of foods. People working at hotel are awesome and always happy to help - I can surely say that they are the best part of the hotel!

Very quiet. Glad to have a bottle of water. Restaurant was excellent and staff very pleasant. Staff great all round.

Very centrally located, friendly staff. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed, as was the bar in the evening. I would have expected that for the price. Would book it again and recommend it.

Accessibility by train was good! Cleanliness was okay, except for the lack of towel changes! Service regarding keycard issues was so-so! Regarding amenities, I missed a kettle or coffee machine!

Mercure is as reliable as always. It is located in the center of the old town, very convenient to the Old Bridge, the Cathedral and the Town Hall. Parking is also convenient. The service at the front desk is particularly warm and professional, great.

While we were there the hotel was under construction. It was also extremely hot. There is no air conditioning in the hotel. We were damned if we did and damned if we didn't. Noise or die from the heat....we went with the heat.

Lacking air in the current heat and with windows that do not fully open, it was a bit warm. Otherwise, this was perfect.

Rooms and basic but very clean and have a free stocked mini bar. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars as the parking is terrible, very small and usually full so you have to use public parking.

Didn't go to the restauant for breskfast. À la carte not available when I enquired. Location good.Close to Erfurt Hauptbahnhof ,near Fisch Markt and Krambruck ( Merchant Bridge).

Ecellent location and nicely prrsented room but we found it a little hot. Aircon only just coped and bedding too wzrm for the climate. Food good.

The people who work here are so friendly and so helpful. Best service ever. Thank you! The rooms are nice and it is great that breakfeast is included. Everything was clean, and the beds are best if you prefer firm beds. The hotel is also nicely situated in Erfurt Alte Stadt.

The hotel is just great. The equipment is absolutely ingenious, well thought out and you just feel good. The roof terrace is fantastic - not least because of the professional staff, who always have an ear for the guest and leave nothing to be desired. Location of the hotel is good. The rooms are big enough and clean. Equipment is out of date and has strong traces of. The Breakfast is rich and fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We stayed here in 2004. Lovely people and great room.

Perfect breakfast and restaurant. Very comfortable bed. Really cozy atmosphere. Located near the Molsdorf palace and not far from Erfurt and two highways (A71 and A4). Pets are not allowed. WiFi signal is weak.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food taste okay .Food is lukewarm to have been served at the table.

You will be warmly received and will be shown to the room. The Breakfast I think morning is also great, the lunch tasted great as well. Who doesn't right luxury needs in the Hotel is super and the price is right also. I can only recommend it.

Last visit at the beginning of February 2016, very good Service, places like advance reservations. Good selection of food (with a focus on: civil kitchen) and everything was very tasty. We liked it very much!

I was in the room with city view. The rooms are very small and little claustrophobic. The city view is excellent. The breakfast was good. The reception staff were excellent. The hotel is very good if you are planning to stay for 2 or 3 days in Erfurt

The staff were all exceptionally friendly from reception, to breakfast, and even the cleaning staff. And the facilities were modern, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Would stay there again.

We had a fabulous junior suite, a comfortable, good-sized room. However, there was no privacy for the bathroom area.

Wonderful hotel, just a few steps away from the old city. The sauna with the view above the rooms of Erfurt is really amazing. The only thing I have to blame is the absence of air conditioning in the rooms. We stayed during one of the warmest days this year with 36oC and the night was really difficult.

The location and the views are excellent (if you happen to have a room on the right side). The staff was friendly and allowed us later checking out without any problems. Breakfast was quite ok, nothing to complain about. Room arrangement was little weird with the walk through bathroom but one can live with it. Overall a good experience, and not terribly expensive during the week day. I would stay here...

Great staff, clean building, and you cannot beat the location. We had an error with an online booking site and the hotel worked hard to help us fix it. I complemented the head desk clerk, and he told me that no thanks is needed it is hai job.

Amazing location, few steps away from the train station, which was perfect after a late flight and train. Tram and bus station is also just meters away. Lots of cafes, restaurants nearby. Bed was very comfortable. The room was compact, with a very good use of space and functionality for the size. Very good value for money.

Just a few metres from the central train station. It's simple and comfortable, breakfast is good, staff is polite. I didn't manage to make WiFi work on my phone which was inconvenient and didn't get much help on that but that's it. I have no complaints other than internet. I recommend it if you're visiting Erfurt on a budget.

the hotel is quite nice, with good connectivity to the Erfurt railway station (HBF), and a tram stop nearby. I actually walked to the hotel from railway station. the rooms are good and comfortable.

We stayed Mid-October, 2024. It was clean, close to the train/bus station, and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but fit our needs. Parking available behind the hotel. We would recommend this hotel.

Dog rooms are full of dog fur, of all kind of dogs. For me traveling with a not hairy dog it was really disgusting. Service tried to chance my room but every available room was dirty. Asked them to vacuum, what they did. Had to pay for the dog either and didn’t even get any other accommodation. Got a room on the ground floor with windows on the same level like the park ground. It was a short weekend trip and we chose this Hotel as it was next to Railway station. Overall a very good experience. Its a very clean building with eye-catching interior design and colours. Rooms are nice too, even with compact size it has all that you need for a pleasant stay. They have a very calm environment inside and outside. Close to the Bahnhof, comfortable, good service, nice decoration

Value for money is good and the position is perfect. The room was not very big, but it was very clean and I really like the bathroom. The fornitures are new and are fully coloured, so the atmosphere inspired happiness. I did not have breakfast. Not all the staff speak English.

I had to spent a hot summer night in a no air-conditioned room; and as I tried to cool myself up, opening the windows, little arachnidan animals visited, making me have to spend some minutes to ward them off. Modern hotel, comfy room, excellent breakfast. Location is good, 10-minute tram to reach the city centre. Staff was helpful, I particularly appreciated the hotel's flexibility to accept shortening the duration of my stay, after I checked in. For personal reasons I had to leave one night earlier.

There was no one at the reception upon arrival. The staff stood smoking in front of the building for an extended period. Budget hotel but everything is clean. Bathroom looks like fresh renovated. Smoke free but in the room strange it smells like it was smoked here. It's suitable for busness trips or or like just a sleeping place for 1-2 nights. Free WiFi is avaliable but slow. It's possible to buy the quick one.

Nice comfortable and clean hotel with easy access to downtown Erfurt. The staff is friendly and helpful and most speak very good English. Good breakfast with a variety of items to choose from.

Excellent hotel experience. The staff were all fantastic. The room was much bigger than other rooms in more expensive hotels so was great value and good quality. The restaurant served excellent food and I had the best Pretzel I have ever tasted. Such a shame I was only there for one night!
