Hostels in Freiburg

The hostel is right next to the forest and has a pool and sauna, but you have to be naked to swim or use the sauna

It's a very good and comfortable place to stay. The warden speak English. Super easy for foreign travelers. It's about a 15 minute walk from railway station. The hostel-style dormitories were fairly comfortable and include full use of spa which was very nice. Be aware a €4.50 extra charge is made for bed linen and towels. Staff were helpful but not super friendly. The breakfast here is terrible! Do not buy it - go next door to Busse’s Waldcafe which offers a fantastic and generous breakfast buffet for about €11

No issues! There is a Kaufland opposite, and the Aparthotel itself is very easily reachable by tram with a stop immediately outside the door. The surrounding area is a bit sterile but it's not far to go into the city. Staff very helpful.

The overall room size was quite good – spacious enough to be comfortable for a holiday stay. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and the charming city center. However, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The pantry area inside the room could be better equipped. Adding a bread toaster would be a small but very helpful upgrade for guests...

Great stay. Clean and comfortable. The kitchen I didn't make full use of but all the basics were there. The bed folds into the wall to create a large open space with a sofa. Lots of storage space. Location great: tram and supermarket across the road. Short ride to the city centre. A bakery and another supermarket are in the neighborhood.

We were very satisfied; everything was perfect. The room was great and the staff was friendly.

Excellent and reasonably-priced hotel. Perfect for holidays in Freiburg as it's right next to the main Tram 2 stop (Eugen-Martin-Straße) giving easy access to the centre. Lots of local grocery stores, which is great for stocking up the included kitchen. Everyone was very helpful and the rooms well-stocked (bring your own nespresso pods though).
