Very nice hotel with lots of amenities. I went there during peak winter time. So I could not explore much. Very good break fast. Restaurants. Gym , swimming pool. Public transport is difficult. But nice view and good spacious rooms with Balcony, meeting rooms.

I really, really enjoyed staying here. The food was amazing, the service was great. I would highly recommend it for a relaxing stay and - above all - the food is fantastic. We will visit again! As far as the location, I really cannot comment on that because I did not look at anything nearby.

The staff is very kindly. Room was very large, large garden and magnificent swimming pools. The beakfast is very complete with a large selection of products. The terrace is very pleasant for dining or having a drink.

Very nice, quiet, clean and modern hotel, with free parking, large selection choice for breakfast and bar/restaurant on site which is reasonably priced with good quality food. This Hotel is about 2 miles outside the town and close to the Bodensee. There is parking in front of the hotel and the hotel is currently undergoing a major extension which will provide underground parking. The hotel and the wellness area are nothing special. In fact, from the photos on the booking the expectation was that the room was in the modern part of the hotel, but unfortunately this was not the case. The staff wasn’t overly friendly and helpful either. The room had several damages but was quiet which was appreciated. There is an outside bike stand with metal hooks for locking.

Room was extremely dated. Glad there was air conditioning. Walls were very thin, could hear the TV from another room at 5am. You had to book the steam room in advance. This wasn't conveyed to us so when my partner went to the steam room, it was off. Mr. Leobilla who was our waiter was great. The female waitress was good too. Receptionists were friendly as well.

This was my third or fourth stay at Hotel Maier but my first since the new extension was built. I had a room in the extension which was, obviously, modern and very clean. Conditions at hotel are ok but check in process is a nightmare. No front desk. We have to use entry panel. We have follwed to the instruction but can't walk inside. Have to call to very unpleased lady and after phone, somehow, key felt down from drawer. After 30min process with nerves we walked in to room.

Very misleading A very missleading stay from what is advertised. There is a spa although you have to pay €19.50pp to use it. The “hot tub” in the spa is just a 1 person jacuzzi bath which you must also buy on top of the spa costs. At night all the heating was turned off so it was very cold. Room was clean and quiet though. all the machines for coffee etc only take coins so make sure you bring plenty...

Beautiful location! Right on the lake. Professional and helpful front desk staff. Excellent breakfast. Housekeeping was very reluctant to provide bathroom toiletries and we had to ask them to replenish them. Very clean room, comfortable bed and linens. WE very much enjoyed our stay! The location is just perfect and the views of the lake are like the nicest wallpaper you've ever seen. The room was ok for my needs -business trip-, although the distribution was strange and not so comfortable for a 4 stars hotel. Worst part was the restaurant: closed for private events most of the time and overpriced when we were able to get a table. Delicious breakfast on the other hand.

Nice hotel right on the lake. The staff is very attentive and well organized. The breakfast is also very good. Also highly recommended is the extensive buffet, dining area and cocktail bar. Clean rooms, as is the whole house.

The room in the so-called country house with balcony and lake view was perfect for a short break. For a longer stay you should book a slightly larger room. The Penthouse SPA was amazing. The view from the sauna or relaxation area on Lake Constance was priceless. The breakfast was varied and offered something for every taste.

Modern hotel conveniently located right at the port of Langenargen/Bodensee. We loved our room and the view was fantastic. Everything was very clean and tidy. Restaurant Ahoi, nicely located in yachtclub marina. The food was great, actually the only decision to be made was the size of the (Argentinian) steak. Apple strudel is delicious... as it should be in Germany. And again-the place itself worth all the money. BTW: a complete meal with couple of beers was €40, which is very decent for such a place.

Hotel was extremely clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast buffet had all the standards. Sailing and motor boat lessons were VERY well-organized. Werner was my sailing instructor and he was friendly, professional and knowledgable. Whilst the facilities here are undoubtedly of very high quality , a standard camping pitch in July is a cramped affair. The rows of campers with very little space to call their own stand in stark contrast to the pictures of luxury facilities.

Recommended From the (stated) renovation measures there were hardly any restrictions (still), at least no noise etc. . Due to the corona pandemic there is currently no breakfast buffet, but there are 4 options to choose from the night before. The rooms were clean and functional. The staff is very friendly. Good: Friendly staff, pet friendly, tasty breakfast, clean rooms. Not good: no smart TV so you must watch some german canales which i dont understand, no fridge in the rooms, no cabinet for clothes, very small room, no balcony, no restaurant in the hotel, so you will be hangry at night, the back hotel yard is closed by 22 o clock, so if you are smoker you need to stay in front of the hotel for one...

Staff was very friendly and welcoming, bus station right next to the hotel and the view from the balcony was really beautiful. A great weekend place or longer stay The hotel is in an excellent spot in Friedrichshafen. We had a beautiful room that was well appointed with lots of extras that American travelers are accustomed to: refrigerator, coffee maker, plenty of towels. The properties well maintained.
