Hotel opened in 1999, renovated in 2008. In this mini-hotel 91 room, 5 floors.
Policies and conditions
- Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 6 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
Children from 7 years old to 17 years old stay for € 30 per person per night when using an existing bed.
No extra beds are available.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

We had a terrible experience and would not recommend this place. We arrived from Australia, paid for both nights' stay, and were immediately greeted by staff who were not as welcoming as we had experienced at other places. We were also informed that the spa area was not included in the cost of the room which we were unaware of.
We chose this hotel because we have young children who enjoy swimming pools when we travel. My wife and I went down to check the spa, only to find it filled with naked men and women. It was not suitable for children at all. We left within an hour of checking in, but were unable to get a refund or even a partial refund. The staff showed no concern for our experience.
The room also didn’t match the photos advertised. Wifi was advertised as part of the room, but the Wifi was terrible and did not work and continually dropped out. Given the situation with the spa and the lack of appropriate facilities for a family, we definitely do not recommend this place. We will be more careful about what "spa" facilities mean when traveling through Europe in the future.

Great place to stay close to old town and very nice walk to cathedral. Lots of christmas markets close by. The sauna and pools were nice they just need to let people know the rules about the sauna and pool prior to them entering as a few were confused

Clean and quiet hotel, in a very good location, with a large SPA area. Unfortunately, when it comes to the facilities for guests, it is quite poor, there is no coffee and tea in the room, a bathrobe, flip-flops and a SPA towel are available for a fee (8 euros per person), the room was quite small.

1) Hot. No AC.
2) Super loud noices. You can hear everything from the hall and adjacent rooms. Talking, toilette, showering of other people. Very clearly.
3) Small. Not even room to unzip and open a trunk.

At first, we plan traveling by train, so made reservation with this hotel, at the end, we rent a car, so car parking becomes a little bit trouble, lucky, we found a parking slot at road side and free for over night:23-9. The hotel room could stay with 2-3 persons if they are ok to share the bathroom, I will say a family, parents and kid. No A/C, but there are fans. Breakfast is nice, but as rooms entrance is on the back side, there is an internal way to back to front desk and breakfast restaurant. But for baggies, you will need to carry to entrance at another(back) side. Interesting experience!

I recently stayed at the Hotel with a medium sized group, and I was very pleased with how the hotel accommodated us. The rooms were lovely and the spa is a slice of heaven tucked away in the city of cologne. The service from the staff members are what sets this hotel apart from the others. Always happy to help and with a smile. To Namuulun Khaliunbold, and all the other members of staff thank you.

Good hotel, rooms were big spacious, bathroom was clean. Breakfast had enough options of food.the spa

Would have been nice to know about the naked old men walking around the pool and the greater hotel area in bathrobes before booking in with my 15yr old daughter
Front desk staff were rude and not helpful the rest of the staff were very good
Couldn't fault the room with smart tv etc and the pool and spa facilities with exception of the previously mentioned nude geriatrics

Pro: Close to 1980 restaurant and you can easily walk a few blocks to a few main streets full of shopping etc.
Rooms a good size, came with coffee.
Cons: Left specific instructions that my late luggage would be delivered and we would pick it up when we stayed again a few days later. My wife's was kept but they turned back mine creating an even bigger fiasco on top of AA and BA airlines screw up.
Drinks in mini fridge even water has a fee.
Breakfast is $20/Person billed to he room.
2nd stay, shower drain was broken so over flowed. Removed cap to discover gnats all up inside and left a smell having it open to drain.

I booked a double room and was lucky enough to get one of the two rooms with a balcony. The room itself was very nice, divided into two sections with the bed in one section and a desk and wardrobe in the other. The shower room was clean and modern.
There's a spa attached to the hotel, but I didn't try it. The rooftop deck looks pretty, and is probably lovely in warm weather. The hotel overlooks a nice church tower and it's in a quiet corner of the city.
