Mauritius Hotel & Therme

First of all as a Mauritian, this hotel is a mockery of what Mauritius offers. First of all, their swimming pool is nude which completely cuts off access to those who do not enjoy nude bathing. This cost extra for 10 euros by the way if you want that. Not stated when posting pictures etc... This is horrible because this is not stated during the booking. Second of all, to enter the room you have to walk on 2 streets making you feel like a second hand citizen. It looks like a room rental rather than a hotel rental. No internet service was available and when i called, they simply apologized stating that they are facing this since 1 week. No refund, no coupon, nothing. Absolute horror! I do not recommend this hotel at all. It has zero value for money.

I posted an accurate and honest review of this appalling hotel, all backed up with evidence, and the hotel had it removed. Before you book read the reviews with the lowest ratings. They are accurate and give you a true picture of what will happen if you stay here.

Strongly recommend not to stay in this hotel again

I must solemnly remind all travelers, **DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL**! The following serious problems were found during the stay:

1. Poor hygiene
The sheets and pillows were covered with hair of unknown origin, the overall environment was dirty and messy, and there was a clear lack of basic cleanliness.

2. **Bad service attitude**
When I reported the problem to the front desk, the staff only responded indifferently with "OK" and did not apologize or take any follow-up measures.

3. **Facility and location deficiencies**
- The hotel is located in a remote area with inconvenient transportation
- **Wi-Fi was completely disconnected the next day**, seriously affecting work and schedule
- The room faces the noisy street, **garbage trucks start working at 5am**, the noise and stench are suffocating

As a well-known tourist city in Germany, the poor quality of this hotel is beyond reasonable expectations. It is strongly recommended that the relevant platforms remove it from the shelves to prevent more travelers from being harmed!

3. Multiple Functional Failures
- Inconvenient location with poor transportation access
- **Wi-Fi connection completely failed on the second day**, severely disrupting work and travel plans
- Room facing a noisy main street with **garbage truck operations starting at 5:00 AM**, producing unbearable noise and foul odors

As a hotel in Germany’s renowned tourist city, its substandard quality is utterly negligent. I strongly urge relevant booking platforms to **immediately remove this property** to prevent further harm to travelers!

We had a terrible experience and would not recommend this place. We arrived from Australia, paid for both nights' stay, and were immediately greeted by staff who were not as welcoming as we had experienced at other places. We were also informed that the spa area was not included in the cost of the room which we were unaware of.

We chose this hotel because we have young children who enjoy swimming pools when we travel. My wife and I went down to check the spa, only to find it filled with naked men and women. It was not suitable for children at all. We left within an hour of checking in, but were unable to get a refund or even a partial refund. The staff showed no concern for our experience.

The room also didn’t match the photos advertised. Wifi was advertised as part of the room, but the Wifi was terrible and did not work and continually dropped out. Given the situation with the spa and the lack of appropriate facilities for a family, we definitely do not recommend this place. We will be more careful about what "spa" facilities mean when traveling through Europe in the future.
