True to the motto "Don't look for it, find it" we came across this house by chance during the apple harvest. A self-picked box of "Red Prince". Great location for exploring the Altes Land. Impressive architecture, you can see the relation of the landlord to Namibia. Cultivated. Really very nice employee cooked apple jelly for us. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again. Thanks.

At the end of September, my wife and I spent a few days in the "Jagdhaus" and really enjoyed the location in the apple orchards, having breakfast together with the other guests in the "living room". Although we weren't very lucky with the weather, we were able to visit Stade, Buxtehude and Hamburg, as well as explore the area by bike in one day. Many thanks to Mr. zum Felde and his staff for the hospitality...

For the second time we have chosen the Villa Altes Land with friends as a domicile for a long weekend in this region. It was a pleasure for us to stay again in the house of this friendly and courteous host. You can only feel good in the spacious and tastefully furnished rooms and you will receive an excellent breakfast where nothing is missing. The next visit is already being planned.

I went to the Alte Schmiede restaurant in Jork on 08/20/21 with my wife and my in-laws and we all enjoyed it very much. We were welcomed very friendly on site and shown to our table. We were also served very friendly and attentive afterwards. The starter platter was good and plentiful and we also enjoyed our respective main dishes very much.

I was there with friend and we was more than satisfied with everything, great dishes and great personel.

Great hotel with impressive value. The hotel feels contemporary but in a very old building. High ceilings in the rooms make them feel far more spacious. Bathrooms have large showers with generous shower flow. Breakfast range and quality was excellent.

It's a beautiful hotel right next to the port of Buxtehude and at the edge of the old center of Buxtehude town. The staff is polite and the food delivious.

Rooms are OK, no aircon, no kettle. Minibar and nice bathroom. Very spartan breakfast, quite disappointing. Pleasant staff. WiFi didn't work while I was there.

The rooms are nice if not a bit small, but typical for the area. Would be nice if more toiletries were provided so you didn't have to pack as much.

My favorite hotel in Buxtehude. The staff, always ready, make everything possible. Very pleasant bathrooms and a very special breakfast! I always feel that I am in good hands here.

From the moment you arrive in reception there is an air of quiet efficiency. The staff are lovely, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. They tolerate my rather poor German with a smile, and always wait until they are out of earshot before starting to giggle at my mangling of their wonderful language. Most staff speak excellent English, but where's the fun in that? :-) The rooms are hyper-clean...

My room was clean and cosy furnishings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast is very rich and with very good products stocked. Highly recommended! The location is convenient to the old town with various good Restaurants! However, the free Wi-Fi works not very well.

I will book the Hotel again if I need a Hotel in Buxtehude. Reception and briefing in the room were friendly and detailed. To requests and questions was received. The nights were quiet. At the Breakfast, No plastic, and delicious regional fresh goods has a rich selection.

Great Service, great wifi, clean and free parking. It very close to the city center of Buxtehude although 40 - 50 min away from Hamburg.

Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly! Lovely location on the edge of the Altes Land region southwest of Hamburg. Beds are quite hard, which I really liked.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We are particularly pleased that you can have pleasant conversations with the owners and not just be "any guest". The team is very friendly and you feel welcome. The wedding we were invited to was also great. If we're around again, we'll definitely be back!

Very nice overnight stay in apartment halfway Netherlands and Denmark. Clean room, good bathroom, equiped kitchen. Beds meet standard and Hotel provides free babybeds. Apartment is located few hundred meter away from hotel itself. Breakfast complete and value for money. We would book again next time.

Food great, room and facilities good, location directly on the B73 for business occasions perfectly. For tourists are more is not suitable for me perfectly

the hotel is in a cool and in a serene environment. It was home away from home for me...no disturbance and the staffs were friendly and willing to help especially with me that doesn't speak nor understand Deutsch. In transit here overnight with 3 people, because of the low price. Pleasant and welcoming reception. A beautiful spacious room with neat bathroom and a very extensive breakfast buffet. An absolute must!
