Auszeit Hotel

An excellent hotel. Beautifully and tastefully designed public areas as well as thoughtfully planned and designed bedrooms. They offer 3 grades of room and we had a middle one which was excellent - high quality fixtures, furniture, bedding etc. The staff are superb - warm and welcoming. At €7,50 the breakfast is outstanding with a perfect selection plus some lovely surprises - the homemade jams are great! 10 minute walk to the S-bahn with trains every 10 minutes into the city. Secure underground parking. Kaufland directly next door. All in a quiet area. Well done Auszeit team!

Super nice hotel. Breakfast is very varied, high quality, much stuff homemade and mostly eco/organic. Every inch of the hotel is spotless. Staff very helpful and smiling, good atmosphere all around. In vicinity is a big shopping center, restaurants and not least a train station with comfy trains directly to Hauptbahnhof, Skt. Pauli etc. Can't think of anything but one itty bitty thing to 'complain' about - the drive in and out of the parking basement is a little tight if one drives a long car. But absolutely doable, only requires that the driver is paying attention.

We had a great stay at Auszeit- really enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast. And the location worked great for us.
Not to mention that they mailed the jacket I forgot back to me without question. That was amazing and shows their customer service.
We would definitely come back!

The hotel is beautiful and modern, and the staff and breakfast are particularly good!

We booked this hotel based on two criteria: safety (location) and reviews. We were more than satisfied on both counts. This hotel is definitely worth the reviews. And it is located in a residential area which is quiet and a 10 minute walk to the StrasseBahn/Bus Station. We used the S-Bahn to get into Hamburg everyday. It was a 25-30 min. ride and completely hassle-free. There are two huge grocery stores in either side of the hotel so you can shop for your conveniences. There is a pharmacy and all other shops if you want to linger in that area. This was our first trip and we spent most of it in the central area of Hamburg. We arrived around 9 pm on our first night and I was concerned about the phone "keys" and I didn't see any personnel but it turned out to be easy and uncomplicated. They send all the instructions and you just follow them. The room key and number was sent via email and one can download their app too. The keys work regardless. The room was quiet, clean and very welcoming. We did have breakfast every morning and were warmly welcomed by the staff. I was so surprised because we have heard about the stereotypical Hamburg gruffness. They went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs even though we hadn't requested anything extra and there was plenty to eat within our dietary restrictions.The breakfast is typical of all German boutique hotels. We enjoyed the beautiful room and the tasteful decor. Also, enjoyed the touches of ecological consciousness and gentle reminders to do our bit for the planet. Even though the hotel is quite far from inner city Hamburg, it is very conveniently accessible by public transport and I would base myself here again if I visited Hamburg in the future.

In this hotel, you can sense that the owners did everything to make sure guests are having a satisfactorily experience. The rooms are impeccably clean, the breakfast room is well designed and the breakfast buffet itself consists of a wide variety of fresh products.

There was a small misunderstanding when we arrived, as the room was prepared for one person instead of two. But this matter was immediately resolved in an adequate and friendly manner and we were given a free bottle of fresh apple juice. And it’s in the service where the quality of an hotel truly lies!

The host couple are so gracious and accommodating. The rooms are nicely appointed and very quiet. The electronic room key and free secure parking are bonuses. You can check yourself in if you come after hours. While I did not try the breakfast, it looks amazing. This is our third stay, if you're in Hamburg they are highly recommended!
