It's surprising that you have to request room cleaning, and even then, the service was subpar. However, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The attitude of the waiter was very good. We could put down our large luggage for free the day before we checked in, so we didn't need to store it at the train station.

The Hohenstaufen is located conveniently near the trainstation, but far enough to not be affected by train noise. The old town and main shopping district are in walking distance. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet war very good.

Curtains in the room only covered maybe half the width of the window but the external shutters blocked most light. This may be an issue if you want a lie in. My wife and I enjoyed two very comfortable nights and excellent service, as we visted the beautiful and historic town of Koblenz for a weekend break, along with the members of four Rotary Clubs. We couldn't have wished for a better hotel.

It was definitely a room. Very basic. Parking is very limited, and it is hard to drive to. I had to park a ways away and pay for it. The breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about.

Only worry is the cleaners aren’t working for the hotel. They are a separate entity. Any issues and from desk tells you to Email them about it. My lap top was damaged. Was covered by my apple care….but what a night mare if not.

It's close to the Hauptbahnhof. Stayed here for 2 nights. Room smelled funky. But apart from that , yeah everything you would expect of a hotel with these many stars.

Room was ok, hotel’s location was good (near the station). The air conditioning was a bit on the weak side, one of the pillows was too soft, there were no hand towels. The room's lock stopped working (allegedly ran out of battery), and the reception guy had to let us in manually twice (he was also the only staff member on the premises, but very helpful).

The room is suitable, clean, and not too noisy. I asked the front desk to move from the first floor to the third floor. The facilities are simple, there is no drawer paper, especially the lack of a kettle, which is very inconvenient. The price is a bit expensive

I had a simple, single person room, with toilet and shower. It was clean and well ventilated. Service was uncomplicated and very friendly, breakfast was excellent. I somehow imagined that the location would be closer to the city centre than it actually was, but it was still easy to get to the city centre and the Trainstation. All in all, definitely worth it!

First stayed at this hotel in fall of 1989 for business trip. My stay was over two months back then. Excellent food and service then beyond compare. Returned for pleasure trip in summer of 2024 and food and service is above excellent!!

I booked the hotel for 2 nights. I would like to share that the Rauental Marienhof bus station is just outside the hotel entrance. You can reach hotel directly from Koblenz HBF or Koblenz Stadtmitte via bus. The hotel receptionist was super helpful, attentive and took care of everything. I really liked the breakfast. My wife and I loved Hotel Morjan in Koblenz! The location is amazing! Walking distance to the cable car, old town, restaurants and bars. We stayed in a room with a great view of the Rhine. Our room had a balcony where we sat and enjoy the beutiful sunrise and sunsets. The staff was great! The room and bathroom were very clean. Everything was just fantastic!

This property is excellent overall both location and service wise. Only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is because the heater was not working. It was a chilly and rainy night but heat was not available. It's the property's responsibility to test if heaters are functional when cooler weather is approaching. They provided extra blankets which was sufficient to keeps us warm.

The hotel was better than expected although the price/quality ratio is not exceptional.. The rooms are very old and it's not possible to attain complete darkness. The sound insulation is not the best considering it is located near a trafficked road.. The breakfast is average but it was satisfactory and the WiFi is really good.

Hotel Brenner is an independent hotel. It is small and intimate. No higher than five floors and a small lift. The lift is just about larger than a typical shower stall. Our room was very clean, large and modern. There is a garage for bicycles to safely store your bike overnight. The hotel is close to the train station. The breakfast was decent, but you cannot use the coffee machine yourself and the coffee was watered down.

Great hotel with friendly, helpful, efficient and flexible staff. We stayed over night here with our two cats on our way from France to Denmark and the staff went out of their way to make it easy for us. Comfortable beds too.

The hotel is very clean and the staff nice and always willing to help you. Their parking spot was very crowded but they took your car to the parking place a couple of streets away and they bring it back when you requested. The only minus is that they don't have a mini fridge in the room.

This well-located and comfortable hotel was a wonderful experience. It is situated right on the Rhine, within an easy walk to the city center. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast room, and many of the hotel rooms, overlook the Rhine. I stayed for a total of 8 nights, checking in and out for trips so got to experience several different rooms.

Smallest room i have ever seen. Room shared wall with elevator. It was noisy.

Overall good value for money and great location, we were able to walk to most places and easily take any transportation when needed. Place is clean and staff is helpful. My only issue was the very slow internet.

8 years ago, for the first time here, after that a few times already. Good, or beautiful Locations you realize. So we have nothing to complain about, we like it here very well. If everything is fully booked, you go to next door (1 Min walk). This is also here among neighbors no Problem at all. Have a nice evening, and see you soon.

The catering is managed with much skill and love - these are the things that the guest can feel! Super great :-)

So we go there for many years. The food was always good!!! Waiting times is absolutely in the Norm and not to long. Conclusion: This shows that on the evening the tables are always occupied. We were right above the entrance and were woken several times during the night by guests leaving/arriving around midnight, 03:10 and 06:00.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the gasthaus. Food was great fresh and cooked with care. Service was oké. The room was very warm. An airco or ventilator would be an great improvement. Breakfast was okay. Do not use the back off products but fresh from the backer the breakfast would be 4 stars. This is an ideal place to visit Koblenz. Just a short ride to the city.

Myself, my boyfriend and our puppy had such a lovely stay here in August! I must admit the pictures are a little misleading however the staff really went above and beyond for us. We stayed one night while passing through and our puppy is not so great at being left alone yet... the morning staff allowed us to sit in our own section of the restaurant in the morning so we could eat breakfast and bring...

Really nice and chilled place. They even got a piano you can play on! Unfortunately I didn't have the time to visit the restaurant, but looks like a place where you can eat good food! The beds are very comfortable and if you like to take a walk, the Rhein River is just about 15 min down the hill.

The hotel was nice and cozy in a calm location. The personnel do not speak almost at all English but they are friendly and patient so the language was not a barrier. The food was excellent in the dinner and the breakfast was generous and tasty. I will definitely go back.

Breakfast was good with plenty of variety and top quality eggs ! "Bock" is now called Ariston and is a Greek restaurant. The reception was friendly and accommodating. The food was brought out relatively quickly and very good. In terms of price, it is a bit higher than the other Greeks in our corner, but absolutely within the framework in terms of performance. We would love to come back.

In new hands for a few weeks (Greek cuisine). Same owner as the Syrtaki in Koblenz, and just as good, or even better, because when the weather is nice you sit better in the garden than in Koblenz on the street. The quality of the food and the staff are just as good as in Koblenz

Good hotel, with simple but clean rooms. Breakfast was ok, dinner was great. As I heard, however, we were the last guests, as the hotel was sold on 01/01/2020. I cannot say what will become of it.

So far we have been there twice: Dinner with 4 people - everyone was very satisfied with the food and drinks. Breakfast with 2 people - we had a very rich breakfast / brunch, designated for 2 - 3 people at a price of 29.90 € plus drinks. Very nicely presented! The eye eats too ;-) A fourth person would have been fed up with it, but there were only two of us. Perhaps this breakfast should be reduced...

The quality of the food was very good and it tasted delicious. The waiting time and for food and drinks was unfortunately a little longer due to the lack of staff, but this was made up for by the extreme friendliness. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and we look forward to seeing you again.
