Where to stay in Koblenz

Ok to stay a night if passing through. In my previous stay I enjoyed it especially the breakfast. This time around not so much. Looks like the breakfast was reduced maybe due to corona. Stayed here now 4 nights and was a little disappointed. Also the evening dinner buffet is not good. I recommend going out to another location.

Nice view if you are on top. Breakfast is very divers. Dinner is very disappointing. The area is very nice and the hotel had a beautiful garden. A lot of parking space. Rooms are ok.

The loviest, coziest, and the most charming hotel I ever stayed at. In this age of corporate hospitality, CONTEL stands out as a home away from home. With a beer garden, cute underground parking, and lots of beautiful art, it makes you feel like you are at your own home. Rooms are so beautifully decorated. It also have a lovely restaurant offering yummy food.

Lovely hotel. Great beer garden, food is good, breakfast is nice, parking is ok. Only not picking issues would be the mattress is too firm but that is subjective. I always stay here when coming to Koblenz.

An amazing place close to city and near Mozel river! It have a nice facilities around - hair dresser, restaurant. Huge likes - free hotel parking (very nice one with wide parking places). Bathtub in room - wow! It’s extremely rare to find in hotels. Big water bottle in every room complimentary. Hotel stuff are helpful and very welcome.

Super strange place. You can notice this okward architecture and style both inside and outside. Rooms are equipped but that comfortable. Lunch was nice.

Great place. Large, clean, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Friendly, helpful staff. We even extended our stay by two days. The breakfast is great, with a large selection and great espresso drinks. Close to City centre (20 minute walk along the river in a great pathway).

I had great experience in Contel Hotel when visiting Koblenz on a business trip. Staff are very nice and kind, rooms are excellent and with good view over the city, great location, elevators got a good size to transport road bikes, (its important to keep your bike protected and clean to respect the higiene of the place) I enjoy of a great sauna after the ride, had a good peaceful night of sleep and...

Excellent location, parking garage is private & pet friendly! The bed was comfy, room was clean and comfortable.

The staff is very kindly if you need any help. The breakfast also varied, and rooms are very comfortable and looks like natural modern design. Location in the city center, so everything very near by walk.

Super close to Koblenz Hbf. Also the Lohr centre, a large shopping mall with an outdoor shopping district, is about 15 min walk away. It's surprising that you have to request room cleaning, and even then, the service was subpar. However, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.

Business hotel with very little in the way of atmosphere. Bathroom is clean, room is ok. But could use an interior decorator. Staff was not able to charge room on the creditcard provided by the company that booked my room, which was odd.

An really nice hotel directly at the central station of Koblenz. The service is kind and they try to help you wherever they can. The rooms are clean and very silent. Perfect when you wanna relax and you don't like noise.

Gorgeous location coupled with beautiful rooms would have been enough. Throw in the incredible restaurant on site coupled with an aperitif on the outdoor terrace overlooking the water. Absolutely stunning, can’t wait to return.

The Fährhaus impresses with its professionalism across the board. Reception, service, food, accommodation and wellness simply TOP. Here the customer is really king. Keep it up! We give it 5 stars for it.

Great hotel at a great location. We spent a night there and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Clean rooms with a comfortable bed (bigger than usual). The view from the room on the river is fantastic (see picture). Strong recommendation!

Great location next to the river. If you are interested in an 8km walk or run then you are directly next to the water and can walk or run along the river path to the railway bridge (about 3 km from the hotel) and then cross over onto the other side of the river and head back on the other side for 3km then back over on the road bridge which brings you directly back to the Hotel. Your standard Mercure experience. Clean rooms and they were quiet as well. The location was very average and the elevators do not work well making some folks nervous. Great views of the river and city from the rooms depending on which side you are on.

Clean rooms. I was here with my 2 children and my wife and the room was large enough for all. The only negative point is the cost of breakfast.

Nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hard to get used to not having a top sheet on the bed! No face cloths in the bathroom. Restaurant buffet for dinner wasn't great. Very bland generic food. As my first night in Germany was hoping for some more traditional food, not bland pasta and watery sauces along with basic salad bar and a few other choices.

This hotel is prime location and the service was good. It's just the blinds didn't shut all the way on the main road and the curtains don't cover the window. The windows let in tons of noise. And the beds were lumpy and soft. Nothing to take from the associates or good location and price; just not comfortable at all in my opinion.

The most important thing for me in a hotel is noise insulation as you cannot rest well if there is noise, and, unfortunately, this hotel does not excel in that. The doors are very thin and creaky, you can hear every other door being opened. The room was OK, but the bathroom was quite dated. I also really dislike the choice to put the soap and shower gel in these plastic bottles that you have to squeeze...

Hotel rooms is good and clean. Location is super good .Breakfast also nice .Only bad thing is you can hear every door open and close. It's quite noisy when you are sleeping.

Nice hotel situated on the outskirts of Koblenz. You can reach the town with a bus driving each hour, otherwise you can reach it quite easily since you don't have to drive through the city traffic to get there. Calm surroundings. Convenient parking, room was on the smaller side, but had everything you need. Staff were helpful and efficient.

Small rooms. Children below 12 years have to share parents bed. Nice breakfast. No parking facility was available and nearby parking garage would cost 15 to 20€ pet day.

Cheap, small rooms, 5th floor hallway reeked or ciggarettes. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good breakfast. The rooms seemed pretty clean.

Breakfast, which was not included in the price was good. Else the room was as tidy as it was tiny. No extras whatsoever, no mini bar, no safe, not even a nessecaire, toothbrush or anything. Ok for the night but all in all not worth the price. Others while cheaper offer better quality, but we're already booked out. It's obvious why.

Small but clean and okay rooms. Definitely not enough outlets (1 bath, 1 middle of the room, not even bedside) and hotel wifi wasn't usable at all for 2 weeks! You can't offer something like that

Nice and tidy place. Beds are a bit firm. The personally is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast at € 7,50 is definitely worth it. Only real drawback is that they advertise being air-conditioned, but in reality the air-conditioning was shut off remotely which made the room quite warm. Opening a window wasn't a possible solution due to the nearby train track.

The rooms were tidy and clean. It was a small room but comparatively cheap. The electronic check-in and check-out was really comfortable. Would visit it again and recommend friends to stay in a b&b if they travel a lot.

Basic rooms with no tea and coffee making facilities. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast mostly continental but very fresh. Dinner good when available with plenty of choice. Staff excellent and everywhere very clean.

We were the second year to the Koblenz summer, I like the atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean . This year we have taken a room with a balcony , our view really enjoyed. I can only Recommend it.

Inexpensive, especially when you take into account the impact of the other Hotels partly for the river view request. Beautiful room with well-kept flowers on the balcony. Food is good, reception is good. Early PCs support 1x good, 1x is not just a one-Day ( Monday).

The hotel is very clean and the staff nice and always willing to help you. Their parking spot was very crowded but they took your car to the parking place a couple of streets away and they bring it back when you requested. The only minus is that they don't have a mini fridge in the room.

We had an amazing stay at the Brenner. Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating and made you feel like a valued guest. The room itself was far beyond what I could have imagined. Spacious, modern, well-maintained with a huge bathroom and a balcony looking out to Rizzastraße. The hotel itself is a few minutes walk from the train station, and the team at the Brenner are more than happy to recommend...

The food was great. We enjoyed it. We also spend already 1/3 nights here and we enjoyed the view on the Mosel already. Also you can sit on the terasse and drink a wine.

My Cycling friend and I have decided for this house on the occasion of a Cycling tour along the Lahn. We were thrilled: friendly welcome by the Junior chef, a delicious dinner, comfortable room and a super Breakfast. The Hotel Weinhaus Kreuter is recommended in every respect and without exception!

Second time staying here. As of today, buffet breakfast is open. Let them know of dietary restriction (gluten free) and they ordered GF bread for us. Hotel and restaurant staff very welcoming. Hotel was clean. Our stay was great!

Bike friendly hotel with recently refurbished rooms, very reasonable for the price, nesspresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Large locked storeroom for bikes was a big help

Sanitary plant but with some "defects". Here are some things should be under continuous observation. No toilet paper, no paper towels, etc.

The rooms are top. Everything new, chic and delicious. A very friendly reception. The "eggplant" is next door is a Must.

Lovely staff and very easy to check in. Great value if you are looking for somewhere to explore Koblenz - which is well worth a visit. It's really near the train station which is handy. Right in the Centre. Five minutes walk to the old city. Clean, friendly staff and a good buffet. Next time I'm in Koblenz I will happily stay here again!

Nice hotel, friendly employees, but they don't have air conditioning. And because of that, you have to keep the windows open. Extremely bad part of that is that it is on a major street in the town and vehicle noise is atrocious. I check in at this early Jun 2018 while touring Europe on my bicycle. The Hotel is conveniently located close to the historic areas and near the bicycle trail that runs along the Rhine. Hotel receptionist lady was very helpful and professional. Very clean and organized bed rooms. I was able to storage my bicycle in the luggage room at no additional cost. Great breakfast. The room was extremely nice, and the breakfast they have in the morning was very good compared to other hotels.

Historic building in a beautiful area. It was quite loud, but they supplied earplugs in the bathroom. It didn't help there was a Euro Cup game that night, in addition to heavy construction outside our room. The service and breakfast were both fantastic.

Myself, my boyfriend and our puppy had such a lovely stay here in August! I must admit the pictures are a little misleading however the staff really went above and beyond for us. We stayed one night while passing through and our puppy is not so great at being left alone yet... the morning staff allowed us to sit in our own section of the restaurant in the morning so we could eat breakfast and bring...

Really nice and chilled place. They even got a piano you can play on! Unfortunately I didn't have the time to visit the restaurant, but looks like a place where you can eat good food! The beds are very comfortable and if you like to take a walk, the Rhein River is just about 15 min down the hill.

The hotel was nice and cozy in a calm location. The personnel do not speak almost at all English but they are friendly and patient so the language was not a barrier. The food was excellent in the dinner and the breakfast was generous and tasty. I will definitely go back.

Great Hotel, clean rooms, and delicious dining in the Hotel's own Restaurant. The audience is mixed by me twenty up to old age. There is a small outdoor Pool is very well maintained and like. The staff has again earned five stars, the really try everything in order to be happy. Would love to come back

Everything is good but the Internet in such rooms does not work perfectly, but it works. In the last room I had Funny only hot water in the Toilet.... In any case, beautiful hotel and very good Breakfast!!

Very cozy Hotel with a rustic rural style. I felt very comfortable here. Very nice Service.....regardless of whether at the time of Check in or in the Restaurant. Every single employee was friendly and courteous. Of course, a big compliment to the kitchen. Very very tasty Regional cuisine. On my next business trip it is me again here
