The front desk is very nice. The hotel is not in the city center but they will give you a bus voucher which takes only about ten minutes and can be used for two days. It's a nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location less than 5 mom on foot to Bodensee. It has a restaurant and bar which also hosts Check in for guests that arrive at late hours. Parking is a nightmare in the area as it is in a residential area and so you have to search a considerable amount of time to find something close to the hotel. Location is good. Cross the bridge and you are in the centre of the city. What I don't like is noisiness of housekeeping staff and the staff is whistling. Most significant complaint was the telephone and Internet service were down. During check-out, we were forced to pay by cash as their credit card machines were also not working. A nice and comfortable mid-size hotel. It's location is near Bodensee and Mainau Island. A bus station is only a minute away and any bus in Konstanz is free for tourists.
