Location is very convenient. Receptionist was friendly and helpful, fulfilling all our requests in time. Room is modern, warm, no need to turn on heater while it is 10 outside. Had very nice view over the river. If The room space was a little more, could have been the best hotel ever.

Had a lovely stay at the Aqua Hotel this week. Very well-designed and clean rooms, excellent service, staff that made us feel very welcome and at home - and the breakfast was phenomenal! Definitely going to return again some day.

Booked a dorm room for me and 9 friends. We Al fitted in one room, making it pretty emnice for us. Had a bathroom included in the room. Room and facilities have been very clean. Interior is nice and esp. in the hallway / restaurant very nice. Staff friendly as well. It's just a little outside, but both walking (35mins) and taking a Bus (included in local taxes) is getting you to the center quickly...

Very nice and cozy place. The people were very friendly and helpful and showed us various places to visit and eat. They even booked a cab for us early in the morning when we were checking out. Only downside: it's a bit far from central station- but well connected with buses..I would recommend this hostel if you are planning a short trip to Konstanz.

Stayed one night, All was good at the beginning of October. Definitely worth the money. Breakfast great choices and very good coffee. Friendly staff! Parked the car in Augustiner parking lot 24 eu 24 hours. We got tickets for public transport from the receptionists. We used it well. Breakfast view!

I would have loved to give the place a 4 star rating, but i can't rate the hotel on just it's breakfast. The first step into the room, door is stuck in the floor for being too skew, only opens half way. Second thing, door handle falls off trying to close it, no screw holding it stuck. Fabulous location right next to the station. Staff were very helpful. Good rooms but they did get quite hot even though they provided a fan. Breakfast was served on the second floor and good. There are stairs into the building and up to the lift.

Enjoyed our one night stay in the city center. The amazing end of February weather was amazing and gave us a beautiful blessed stay at the hotel. Everything is just 2 minutes away, the amazing shopping lanes, the delicious restaurants and the gorgeous lake with all the beauties of nature around the lake. Good hotel located at the Konstanz city centre right at the old town area. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean, spacious and equipped with the basic amenities. The breakfast buffet was decently good with the typical European options along with tea and coffee.

Room was clean, with a great location next to downtown and the train station. Bring some entertainment though because most channels in the tv do not work.

Not sooo so as expected -not cleaning room, till we vacate -all groceries are far away (takes 18min walking) -disturnaces from outside of room, when others are walking -shower room is tiny -no reception for queries, and not responding of customer number -what if someone looses the card? To whom they can ask...? -the allocated phone is not working in the room -WRONG info is provided in the handbook

I loved the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, my room was very comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. Anyone who stays there should definitely go to dinner at least once, as the food and service is very good.

This is a budget priced property, but so far we've been pleasantly surprised. A great value and a high recommendation. Our Jr. Suite in this historic hotel is quite large and lovely, so many wonderful windows (as we have an end unit) and a beautiful balcony facing the water. Rooms with views are nice. A little out of the way if you are looking to see Konstanz but as it is at the ferry terminal the bus service is frequent and takes you straight into town. Not large but friendly!

It's a nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location less than 5 mom on foot to Bodensee. It has a restaurant and bar which also hosts Check in for guests that arrive at late hours. Parking is a nightmare in the area as it is in a residential area and so you have to search a considerable amount of time to find something close to the hotel. Otherwise you have to park further away and take a bus to the hotel....

Very cozy and nice place for stay. Slightly outside the city center you can enjoy nature. Hotel is between forest and Bodensee. I can recommend you to get room in second floor so you will have very nice view in the lake. Just few minutes walk you can relax in open beach or very nice spa resort. Breakfast was very good. In the context of a training I spent two nights here. Check-In friendly and uncomplicated. The room is nicely decorated. The TV could be slightly larger. Wi-Fi is free of charge. The Breakfast (included in the price) provides in the form of a buffet everything is there to start the day. Overall, a tip and a clear recommendation.

A nice and comfortable mid-size hotel. It's location is near Bodensee and Mainau Island. A bus station is only a minute away and any bus in Konstanz is free for tourists. The street in front of the hotel has some traffic but in the hotel it is quite silent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We did not noticed any noice from other guests.

The Gästehaus Holzer I can only recommend. I haven't felt very comfortable there, this has a familiar athmosphere in a big house, or a hotel chain. It is very clean and has everything you need. I particularly love that you can use the very modern and high quality Spa as a hotel guest free of charge. Also the quiet location in the immediate vicinity of the lake is really super. Great vacation in the Gästehaus Holzer! We have spent here with our family a great holiday. A large family room with lake view and balcony. Our children played in the afternoon at the newly refurbished garden and we were able to comfortably have a drink in the Lounge. Everyone here goes the extra mile to make the stay a pleasant one. Beautiful rooms, a pictoresquely ancient house, but with modern standards in every aspect, 100% clean and well kept.
