Where to stay in Konstanz

It took around 20-30 minutes to arrive at the hotel from the train station by taking bus 6. The hotel is comfortable and affordable if you're on a budget or just stay for a night. They offer breakfast, the bus station is near, supermarket like norma and Kaufland is abt 300 meters from the hotel, and you also have McDonald's and burger king just near it.

This is a functional hotel that you come to because the location suits. It doesn’t have much personality and neither do the reception staff. It’s quite a walk from shops but there is a bus stop that very close. Had a lovely stay at the Aqua Hotel this week. Very well-designed and clean rooms, excellent service, staff that made us feel very welcome and at home - and the breakfast was phenomenal! Definitely going to return again some day.

Booked a dorm room for me and 9 friends. We Al fitted in one room, making it pretty emnice for us. Had a bathroom included in the room. Room and facilities have been very clean. Interior is nice and esp. in the hallway / restaurant very nice. Staff friendly as well. It's just a little outside, but both walking (35mins) and taking a Bus (included in local taxes) is getting you to the center quickly...

Very nice and cozy place. The people were very friendly and helpful and showed us various places to visit and eat. They even booked a cab for us early in the morning when we were checking out. Only downside: it's a bit far from central station- but well connected with buses..I would recommend this hostel if you are planning a short trip to Konstanz.

It is on its own little island but a great location to the old town and to go over the bridge to great restaurants and shopping etc. we had to wait till 3 to check in but could leave our bags and they had taken them to the room. For a waterfront position the hotel was very average, the room had a lot of hair on the carpet from previous guests (I assume). First of all, there is no parking option for your car. The only option you have is to park your car into a public parking place which costs 20 euro per day. (Hotel doesn't give you any discount). Great location on a bank of the Rhine river where locals come to swim or have a picnic, great top floor sauna with a superb view, fairly new building with nicely decorated rooms, OK breakfast. It would have been a nearly perfect stay had it not been for repeatedly unpleasant interactions with the front desk staff.

We were there for a convention. Spend 4nights there. Did not eat in their restaurant since it was closee ok monday. But i heard it is one of the better ones in Konstanz. There is a spa and a rooftop. I would have loved to give the place a 4 star rating, but i can't rate the hotel on just it's breakfast. Fabulous location right next to the station. Staff were very helpful. Good rooms but they did get quite hot even though they provided a fan. Breakfast was served on the second floor and good. There are stairs into the building and up to the lift.

Enjoyed our one night stay in the city center. The amazing end of February weather was amazing and gave us a beautiful blessed stay at the hotel. If you want to spoil yourself, you should check out Hotel Halm, it is gorgeous. The hotel has been around since 1878 and has been very well maintained. The rooms are large, ceilings high and beds comfy. Service was exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was amazing.

Very nice!! Comfortable room with a couch- spacious, nice shower. No microwave, no tea pot, and no fridge. Breakfast is included and it is typical German breakfast. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Eating area is on top floor that provides a great view of the lake.

Great hotel, the views of Konstanz and beyond are great especially on the roof terrace! The family room is perfect for us as a family of five, clean, spacious and has everything we need from a tea and coffee station in the room, hair dryer and minibar! This is a budget priced property, but so far we've been pleasantly surprised. A great value and a high recommendation. It's a nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location less than 5 mom on foot to Bodensee. It has a restaurant and bar which also hosts Check in for guests that arrive at late hours. Parking is a nightmare in the area as it is in a residential area and so you have to search a considerable amount of time to find something close to the hotel. Otherwise you have to park further away and take a bus to the hotel....
