Where to stay in Konstanz

The place here is really nice. This is the second time I’ve been in this chain of hotels and they are clean, well kept and friendly staff (although with online check in / a Digital system at the door you don’t necessarily need to talk to anyone). Only thing i’d say might be worthy of a change from the times I’ve been, is the variety of stuff that they offer for breakfast. Felt a little sparse for ...

Wifi is not working properly. The elevator is always full. Some door number 409 couldn’t close and people could just go inside. Breakfast is okay. No gym

The room was clean and neat. The staff patiently answered all our questions about public transportation and how we can go to different important locations. Their recommendations about how much time we should spend in different places were just right. They were very helpful. We did not take breakfast but there are groceries close to the hotel. The location was good, you can reach the centre in 15 mins...

Very nice hotel for a good price, close to de center of Konstanz (30 minutes walk or 5-10 minutes drive by car). Hotel was clean and air conditioned. Good breakfast available to start the day. Friendly staff. They also have an underground parking garage for your car or bike.

Great location. Take the bus just a block away to the best parts of Konstanz. Bus runs late so you can get back. Breakfast is inexpensive...just need to reserve day before. Smallish rooms but that's fine.

Location is very convenient. Receptionist was friendly and helpful, fulfilling all our requests in time. Room is modern, warm, no need to turn on heater while it is 10 outside. Had very nice view over the river. If The room space was a little more, could have been the best hotel ever.

Excellent location! Underground parking right by the hotel, with a direct entrance - for 13EUR not bad in my opinion. Wonderful place to stay if you are ever in Konstanz Germany quiet, clean, friendly and the breakfast buffet is soo nice neat and set up so different from the regular buffet every dish is so neatly covered that you get your own personal dish and the servers are so sweet and kind of I ever come back to Germany this the place I will be staying again. Stayed one night, All was good at the beginning of October. Definitely worth the money. Breakfast great choices and very good coffee. Friendly staff! Parked the car in Augustiner parking lot 24 eu 24 hours. We got tickets for public transport from the receptionists. We used it well. Breakfast view!

I would have loved to give the place a 4 star rating, but i can't rate the hotel on just it's breakfast. The first step into the room, door is stuck in the floor for being too skew, only opens half way. Second thing, door handle falls off trying to close it, no screw holding it stuck. Fabulous location right next to the station. Staff were very helpful. Good rooms but they did get quite hot even though they provided a fan. Breakfast was served on the second floor and good. There are stairs into the building and up to the lift.

Enjoyed our one night stay in the city center. The amazing end of February weather was amazing and gave us a beautiful blessed stay at the hotel. Everything is just 2 minutes away, the amazing shopping lanes, the delicious restaurants and the gorgeous lake with all the beauties of nature around the lake. Excellent location, and a friendly stay. But, the childrens' beds were hard as a rock and parking needed to be found from a local shopping center. Good for a night or two, but not sure about a longer stay.

Great hotel, the views of Konstanz and beyond are great especially on the roof terrace! The family room is perfect for us as a family of five, clean, spacious and has everything we need from a tea and coffee station in the room, hair dryer and minibar! The staff speak both German and English so no problems to communicate. The breakfast is fantastic, organic produce and lots to choose from!

Great location in downtown Konstanz. Easy to get to from the train, 3min walk from Christmas markets. Great breakfast, amazing view and delightful staff!

Such an amazing find! We were just looking for a place to rest after a birthday, ended up having such an amazing time... Rooms are spacious and clean, staff is super friendly, entire place is super kids-friendly, and make sure you don't miss that last floor and enjoy your breakfast on that deck ;)

Great hotel, great room, great location! Room was spacious and even had a little kitchenette and balcony. Though it was super hot during our stay the portable air con did pretty well plus there is a balcony and the windows open wide. Just popped in for a beer while walking back to town from the thermal baths on a sunny summer day. View was great, clean comfy and not unreasonabley priced. Staff polite and helpful, shame we didn't have time to eat.

It is on its own little island but a great location to the old town and to go over the bridge to great restaurants and shopping etc. we had to wait till 3 to check in but could leave our bags and they had taken them to the room. For a waterfront position the hotel was very average, the room had a lot of hair on the carpet from previous guests (I assume). I had to take my own luggage to my room on the staff luggage trolley (it barely fit in the elevator). Room had an odour but not sure exactly what caused it. This hotel is stellar. It deserves all the stars of the world. Location is gorgeous, to start with, just by the lake with a great lake terrace and gardens. Beautiful hotel with a great view on the Bodensee. It is an old monastery that is beautifully renovated. The dinner and breakfast were delicious!

If you want to spoil yourself, you should check out Hotel Halm, it is gorgeous. The hotel has been around since 1878 and has been very well maintained. The rooms are large, ceilings high and beds comfy. Service was exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was amazing.

A very nice hotel with a lot of charm located right in front the Konstanz train station. We had a room with a seating area and a nice view over the lake. There is a large car park nearby.

The hotel staff were super and friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, right across from the train station. Negatives were the bed, the mattress was too soft and with the split in between the two mattresses , felt like I was going to slip right into it. It's a nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location less than 5 mom on foot to Bodensee. It has a restaurant and bar which also hosts Check in for guests that arrive at late hours. Parking is a nightmare in the area as it is in a residential area and so you have to search a considerable amount of time to find something close to the hotel. Otherwise you have to park further away and take a bus to the hotel....

Nice, well run hotel. The location is (even if you are traveling by car) well and centrally located near the old bridge over the Rhine. Especially the breakfast I like very much.

The location of the hotel is great. Very central but in a quiet side street. In the attic it was very stuffy in the heat. Luckily there was a fan. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but very cute.

This is a budget priced property, but so far we've been pleasantly surprised. A great value and a high recommendation. Our Jr. Suite in this historic hotel is quite large and lovely, so many wonderful windows (as we have an end unit) and a beautiful balcony facing the water. Rooms with views are nice. A little out of the way if you are looking to see Konstanz but as it is at the ferry terminal the bus service is frequent and takes you straight into town. Not large but friendly!

Great staff, very helpful. It was our first time in Germany and we didn't come with much of a plan. The hotel staff gave us great recommendations for what to see in the area. The hotel has a great view of the lake and is steps from the water. Would definitely come again.

I loved the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, my room was very comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. Anyone who stays there should definitely go to dinner at least once, as the food and service is very good.

Petershof is a very nice hotel, very friendly service, good location, not far to walk to the city or you could take a bus instead, bus station is right infront the door, clean an friendly rooms and a really nice breakfast buffet! I enjoyed my stay very much!

Had a lovely stay at the Aqua Hotel this week. Very well-designed and clean rooms, excellent service, staff that made us feel very welcome and at home - and the breakfast was phenomenal! Definitely going to return again some day.

The Schulz family are lovable, friendly, atmosphere golden, fully 100% out of 10. Foods, beer, breakfast are very delicious. They welcomed me as a guest with a friendly awareness of disability as l am deaf. I feel at ease with their good communication. Their time and effort are phenomenal. Hotel is very reliable and clean. I will be back with my four deaf friends here next year for a great holiday...

Modern hotel with comfortable beds and good breakfast bar. Noisy outside of our room on the third floor plus cigarette smoke wafting in from outside, so we ended up closing the window and turning AC on instead.

Stayed here for 1 night while cycling around Bodensee. Friendly staff. Location is a little out of town but only a short walk across the river. Rooms are a little small but very modern. Breakfast is well stocked with a large variety.

Other than the fire alarm that woke us up, good breakfast, nice rooms.

Unfortunately, that's not going well here in the service department. Cleanliness in the room is okay at first glance, but if you look closely, it lives from the fact that everything is new. Breakfast was not good. Since the cancellation was implemented in a customer-friendly manner, neutral 3 stars.

Room was super clean, and staff was very friendly. Also cool that pets are allowed. Breakfast looked good, UT I never got around to going down and trying it. If you were curious, they have no idea what a VAT form is, so don't bother.

The hotel was very modern and well designed. Our room was more like a small apartment. Very clean and modern, Lovely interior design touches here and there. We found the pre arranged breakfast allocation really off putting and didnt like the idea of having a set time that we had to have our breakfast due the current restrictions, apart from that our stay was ok

Friendly staff and beautiful view from a Beach chair on the lake. Actually, only reserved for hotel guests, but two more beach chairs were free, we were allowed to remain seated.

A nice and comfortable mid-size hotel. It's location is near Bodensee and Mainau Island. A bus station is only a minute away and any bus in Konstanz is free for tourists. The street in front of the hotel has some traffic but in the hotel it is quite silent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We did not noticed any noice from other guests.

Very modern rooms at a good price. The Restaurant with a clear map is very good, the Service is second to none! My declared favorite hotel! Easily accessible, plenty of Parking (outdoor and garage). And a beautiful view of the lake at Breakfast.
