Be aware that some of the deluxe rooms do not have outside space. I was vey disappointed to find that my room did not have a balcony to enjoy the lake view despite paying the same (high price) as other rooms in this category that did have outdoor space. The website shows such a room and so is very deceptive. Management could only offer a ‘downgrade’ if I wanted a balcony and were not interested in following up to help overcome my dissatisfaction - not really good enough for this standard of hotel

Such a beautiful location with a very relaxed ambience. The terrace of the Seerestaurant overlooked the lake and was a beautiful setting for supper and breakfast. The selection at breakfast in particular was excellent. Staff were both friendly and very professional. The roof terrace was the perfect spot for swimming and relaxing with views over the lake. The room was modern, well designed and perfectly quiet with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Perfection!

Some would hesitate to book a 5-star hotel because they believe the atmosphere may be a bit unwelcoming or judgemental, but such is not the case at "RIVA am Bodensee". The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Everyone will do their absolute best to assist you when you arrive and during your entire stay. Peter in the dining area was very helpful, friendly and personable. The staff at the front desk assisted me with some out of the ordinary requests without hesitation. As for the cost, you get what you pay for, and yet this hotel is still quite a bargain. Great atmosphere, great people, great food and drink and a fantastic view. The room was very spacious, modern and air conditioned. We had separate living and sleeping areas, two balconies, a large luxurious bathroom with separate WC. The hotel has elevators to every floor and is equipped with sauna and exercise rooms. A valet parks your car and brings your luggage to the room. It is worth every penny. True, I've never stayed in a 5-Star hotel before (yet many 4-Star stuffy hotels), so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it is fair to say that I was very impressed.

Everything is just perfect! Ultimate experience. Live piano music in the evening, heated swimming pool, amazing service, surrounding, inspiring view from the room, bathroom food! Thank you for such an unforgettable stay🤍

Everything was amazing! The staff took great care of us, breakfast was super, and the spa was excellent. Gave location a 4 because you’re not super close to old town.

Fantastic service and wonderful staff. We arrived at the hotel and when we were shown to our room there were a few things that were not to our liking. The manager and his colleague immediately set about working out how they could accommodate us to our liking. Within 30 minutes we had been moved to a lovely room which was more than we expected. We had a lovely lunch on the terrace and friends joined us for an even better dinner at the hotel. If you want to stay with people that really care for their guests this is the place. Thank you everyone at Riva.

Very much enjoyed a stay of two nights. Everything was modern and impecably clean. Breakfast was magnificent! The rooftop pool was refreshing and welcome. The views across the Bodensee were spectacular. Highly recommended place to stay in Konstance.

A modern expensive trendy hotel with every possible facility but rather lacking in soul. Overlooks the lake and walkable to the Meersburg ferry and Konstanz centre. Good service, room, bar, restaurant and breakfast. Also sauna and gym if you like that sort of thing. Restaurant food prices as expected but wine prices simply excessive. We rebelled and went to Konstanz for our 2nd and 3rd night dinners.

The hotel has a nice modern interior design. They provide you all facilities you need. The place is surrounded by nice quiet environment with the beautiful view of lake. The staff is service-minded, friendly and responsive. We have a very pleasant stay. Thank you so much
