I had a wonderful stay here when I fist came to Leipzig as a student. I also made a very good friend from the first day here. The room is very clean and comfortable. The staff were also very friendly. One great thing is they let me put my luggage at the basement after checking out. Thanks again for everything!

This hostel is in an ideal location. It is on a gorgeous little square with a fountain. (The photo is accurate!) It's steps away from an alley packed with popular cafes and restaurants. It was comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities a good hotel room usually has. They have luggage room, billiard room, a very nice lounge with a well equipped kitchen.

First and foremost this hostel is clean and comfortable enough, although the sturdy wooden bunks have slightly awkward stairs and are not the easiest to navigate while putting on bedsheets etc. Service was efficient and kind but is otherwise also quite absent, you check in and that's it. I can't believe this clearness and cosy bed and also it is really good isolation with this price. There is just a little bit of far from the centre but it's easy access to the tram. So I would say perfect hostel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry service at a good price. Clean facilities. I like that the washrooms were not in the sleeping area, they were just outside the door. Less noise for people in the dorm and more privacy for people using the washrooms. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Good location.

Clean, tidy & affordable. Accommodation not really central and public transport here is a challenge to navigate. Nice bar in the hotel, although the staff choose who they want to serve & when. Even pretended they didn't know how to use their coffee machine.

The hostel was really clean and the rooms were great. There’s a nice little biergarten/cafe at the bottom of the hostel and the employees are really nice and helpful. It’s only a couple of minutes from the S-Bahn. Highly recommend for your next stay in Leipzig.

One of the best Hostel in city! Good price, excellent staff, really recommended. Only thing is if you prefer the "centrum" experience, maybe look for other options. We were desperately looking for a place to stay at half past ten at night when we around this little hostel. Super nice staff and great prices. Clean and well equipped. Our room smelled a bit of scented candles, but I think it was just to fit in with the atmosphere of this hostel.

We stayed two nights at Homeplanet Hostel in the Egypt Apartment. + Very friendly and helpful personell + Very nicely decorated room + Reasonable prices - The beds were just cruel. The double bed was just too small for two people and the matress was probably quite old. The "hostel" is an apartment in which 2 rooms are rented. With a shared bathroom and kitchen. Fridge and cooking facilities are fine. Room is large and well furnished. I was there for a short night. The room was neat and clean. The owner very friendly. There is a small selection of drinks at good prices. The bed I loved to sleep in was excellent. The location itself is good too. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The park “Die Nunne” can also be reached quickly. All in all, to be recommended for a short stay.

Ignore the bad reviews, this is clean comfortable quirky accommodation but simple. The people complaining on here (Spießer aus BW?) should know that if you pay 27€ a night (single room), then you're not getting a 5 star penthouse. This is my second time and I've already booked my third.
