Well located. Seems like a well oiled mass processed Hotel for visitors. Nothing wrong but feels crowded at breakfast

Horror movie carpet! I love it! Great staff! Decent pool, modern room. Nice ladies at the bar and great tasting food. The Korean chicken bites are amazing! For anyone whondering, the carpet in the first floor has the same pattern as the hotel in The Shining.

Location is 10 mins walk from the main city area. Rooms are big, clean, quiet . Beds are comfortable. Service is great. Lobby is fun with billiard, TVs, comfy sofas, good beer and snacks. Breakfast is AMAZING. They even let us cancel extra 2 nights we didn't need anymore cuz plans change and it's not something to take for granted. Really appreciated that.

My stay at the hotel upon arrival was confusing. My team and I came for the consulate to do a military ceremony. As we arrived to the hotel one lady told me I was unable to checkin until 3 which we arrived at 1130. Globally a good hotel. Something rare to notice there is good shower pressure which is rare in modern hotels always trying to reduce the confort of the shower. Negative point also typical of modern hotems they make it difficult to find the stairs. Even when the elevator is busy

Clean hotel and comfortable

Friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Rooms are clean and comfortable. A little out of town but there is a tram stop around ten minutes away by foot.

Yes, it is a simple trade fair hotel, you know that beforehand. I usually travel in Asia and seem to be spoiled. But I am amazed how they can still install bathtubs for showers these days. The toilets are also only designed for reversing into. It was annoying, however, that the service did not replace glasses and cups after use. The coffee was also not refilled.

Although the room was fairly comfortable with all the amenities, the windows on the rooms fave people on the street a direct view into the room. The curtain had to remain closed and therefore the room was always dark. The stay was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, but the check-in process was a bit longer than expected. The Wi-fi wasn't the greatest and could be better.

We find everything nice. Rooms were neat, well designed Breakfast was vast, with person taking care of our needs Smart TV was a added advantage due to my son. One thing which we felt bad was the rude approach of the front office person during check-in, may be they had a bad day. But all other service were so nice that we almost forgot it.

Stayed 5 nights, during Euro 2024. Perfect location very close to city centre (150m), just next to the fan zone. We had a suite with a beautiful view on Augustusplatz. A very grand hotel The rooms were massive We had a suite for a family of 4. They provided 2 mugs only in the kitchenette, nothing else, no cutlery, crockery etc! Shower is a hand held one where the temperature fluctuates which isn't good enough. Ideally located.

as always with motel one it offers one of the best value for money experiences at gorgeous places. here in front of the famous Nikolaikirche. i had a room with a french balcony wirh direct view of the church.

I passed by Leipzig on a car trip and just happened to book a room at Hotel Michaelis. This turned out to be a very good choice as the hotel was excellent in many aspects. I stayed at Ibis Budget. It’s ok and clean but nothing to write home about, just a basic room. For the price payed of 80€ it should in my opinion be better. For that price competitors like MO offer a much better experience.
