Well located. Seems like a well oiled mass processed Hotel for visitors. Nothing wrong but feels crowded at breakfast

Location is 10 mins walk from the main city area. Rooms are big, clean, quiet . Beds are comfortable. Service is great. Lobby is fun with billiard, TVs, comfy sofas, good beer and snacks. Breakfast is AMAZING. They even let us cancel extra 2 nights we didn't need anymore cuz plans change and it's not something to take for granted. Really appreciated that.

Although the room was fairly comfortable with all the amenities, the windows on the rooms fave people on the street a direct view into the room. The curtain had to remain closed and therefore the room was always dark. The stay was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, but the check-in process was a bit longer than expected. The Wi-fi wasn't the greatest and could be better.

There is no laundry service even though it is listed on booking. The mattresses are not really comfortable, you can feel the springs poking into your back when sleeping on them. On the plus side, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good.

Hotel is quite far away from the city. I was travelling with a tour group of 45 people. There was only 1 lift working and the lift had no option to select if the lift was going up or down meaning when you got on the lift at level 2 and tried to go down to the lobby you sometimes had to go up and stop at level 3, level 4 and level 5 and then stop at level 4, level 3 and level 2 again before going down...

The pool at the hotel was very quiet. We got free towels and bathrobes. We couldn’t jump into the pool but it was still nice. Very elegant lobby. In the lobby there was a bowl with cookies inside. I took a cookie and it was delicious.

I stayed here for the weekend while sightseeing in Leipzig. Beautiful, modern hotel which is centrally located near the sights of the old city and to the main train station--which has to be one of the nicest in Germany. The hotel is about as close as you can get to the central station, which is very convenient. There are other hotels in the historic center, which is a couple of minutes walk away, so you can leave your bags in the reception after checking out and not have to carry them through the town. The place is just in front the train station. The guy attending there was professional. He made no problems with taking a bike with me. The room was big, clean and had an interesting design in the bathroom. It had a budtub wich is a big plus. Although it is centrically situated in the room it was quit even from a second floor. The only problem was that the air-conditioer was quiet loud.

I attended an interview with the football manager Ralf rangnick. The rooms were well prepared and tidied up. Technical equipment was working well. Small beer was too expensive for this event.

Mercure Hotels are generally the same where ever you go. They are reliable, clean offer a decent breakfast and are for the most part comfortable. I gave this one 3 stars due to the fact that this outfit is in desperate need of an update! It looks and feels like its stuck in the 90's. The apartments are spacious and well designed although a room for four has only one double bed the others have to slept on the couch. Would not recommend for more than 3 adults. Free parking in front limited if none available either paid parking or a few streets away on public industrial parking spaces. Dogs allowed and gee if extra costs.

The Hotel is Okay. But I wouldn't stay here if I would pay the room. In the apartments the cutlery wasn't clean multiple times. The heating and cooling was a mess. The breakfast is okay but I wouldn't pay 4,50€ for it. The room it self looks old and sometimes it falls apart.

Modern and clean rooms, the only caveat I can find is that the University is directly on the other side of the street and the rooms have very big windows - so you should really close your curtains in the morning. I passed by Leipzig on a car trip and just happened to book a room at Hotel Michaelis. This turned out to be a very good choice as the hotel was excellent in many aspects. Room is very nice and extremly spacious. Beds are comfortable and very big. Breakfast is above average. The staff is friendly and well trained. Just the location is not the happiest choice, but... all the other things mentioned above save the situation.
