I gave this hotel a try on a short trip during the week as it location was pretty good and fairly priced with 72 EUR / night. Unlike my expectations with this central locations the room has been actually really quiet. Staff was very friendly. On-site parking with 15 EUR is a bit high considering the prices of one of the local parking garages ( 5.00 EUR / day ) and should be decreased to about 10-1...

It's a clean and good hotel, if you are a business customer. As an Tourist I would not recommend, because it was built by Telekom to provide a hotel for seminars and trainings.

I went there (as a volunteer firefighter) to an event to honor the volunteer firefighters of the city of Leipzig. The place was really great, food was perfect and the host where very kind :) Nothing to complain

This hotel is not a hostel, but it has something of the student house. Rooms are somewhere between Ibis budget and Ibis comfort - for those who know - and breakfast is quite ok for the price. The Hotel is located in the district Plagwitz. The rooms are very pleasantly decorated, the door locking device has to get used to something. Positive: free LAN connection, free enclosed Parking Negative: very poor mobile phone reception, at least in the O2 network The Breakfast is rich and tasty.

I passed by Leipzig on a car trip and just happened to book a room at Hotel Michaelis. This turned out to be a very good choice as the hotel was excellent in many aspects. Super-friendly and helpful staff. A large and clean room with a view of towers and church spires. Nice breakfast included, as well as a small bottle of wine. All this for 79 Euro, which is very competitive price/performance.

Quite comfortable and quiet area but not close to main station

The location of the hotel is very good, the rooms are big and comfortable, the breakfast is the best I've ever had in a hotel. Very good hotel with quite comfortable but also very modern and functional rooms, even if they are not very big. The breakfast is varied and includes the possibility of cooking your own waffles! The hotel staff is kind. Regarding the place, it is in a quiet area, but just 10 minutes walking far from the City Hall.

as always with motel one it offers one of the best value for money experiences at gorgeous places. here in front of the famous Nikolaikirche. i had a room with a french balcony wirh direct view of the church.

A good, well stocked bar. Breakfast is continental, sadly none of the thinly sliced cheese on offer has any flavour, but the bread is good. The room was comfortable and you can open the window. The shower was very effective, too.

Stayed for four nights, August 2024, and couldn't fault it. It's a very good hotel right in the middle of Leipzig city centre. Clean rooms, good breakfast, lovely staff. Rooms are on the small side, basic, but who stays in them except to sleep. Go out to one of the very good bars or restaurants.

A short 2 night stay, the room was very spacious with 2 large single beds, tea/coffee making facilities and mini fridge. The buffet breakfast was very nice plenty of choice with hot and cold options. OK Hotel Good value for the money but a bit far from city center on an Industrial area. 30 min with train to town. My room, a twin bedroom was big and with a nice balcony facing gardens. The bed wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. Big minus for the lack of air condition on the room. Breakfast OK.

i’ve booked a double room here last weekend for my husband and I .because my parents live in Wiederitzsch.a new hotel with 100% new interior, clean and modern. there is a vietnamese restaurant next to this. Booked room on booking.com, good price and nice tidy hotel and room, not the biggest room but was fit for purpose and it had a nice little balcony area that can be used for smoking. The Hotel Papilio is a beautiful and cozy Hotel!!! The rooms are very pleasant with a large flat TV, the beds are very soothing with two pillows and a neck roll. The room service is very courteous and always friendly!!! Up on the road noise on the front of the hotel, with the window open and the small shower, the rooms are really perfect. The price is relatively cheap, the room is quite big, European hotels are relatively clean, the breakfast is very rich, and it is very convenient to the airport, which is a good choice for business trips.

The hotel has a rich buffet breakfast. The hotel is just opposite the airport, only a 3-minute walk away, but there are no shops around. If you need to buy food, you have to return to the airport.

The parking lot is the airport parking lot, which is a bit inconvenient, but otherwise ok, very close to the airport!

Room and staff were great! We loved the airco in the room and the breakfast particularly. When we booked, we paid almost 120 euro per night. However, during our stay the price was about half of that. This felt disappointing, because we paid in full. During the booking process, we were not notified about the free parking in the street next to the hotel. The hotel was clean and in order as expected but there was 2 small things not appropriate. One is the breakfast that cannot be so expensive as is and the second is that is not possible to have a concierge in a hotel nearby an airport that only speaks German.

Our room was very nice, the staff was beyond helpful and breakfast was fantastic. We'd stay here again whenever we're passing through this way again.

Had booked 2 Nights with a trip to the zoo. The room was not very large, but completely sufficient for a short holiday. It was all very clean and the staff was super friendly. The Breakfast was sufficient and everything was fresh. We had felt ourselves very well and can only recommend it. Just great.
