Hotel Dampfmuhle

During our 6 nights stay, the bed sheets have not been changed (even though they claim that they change it every 3 days), the towels were not changed and obviously the trash from Monday stayed inside the room until Sunday. The rooms look way better in the pictures, in reality everything is old and smelly. At the reception the woman that “welcomed us” was extremly arrogant and treated us with superiority. When we asked for a bill they had no idea how to fill it. Poor english at reception. Also, we paid for two people, but we received only one body towel, one hands towel and a shower mat. Dishsoap almost empty. They claim to be a 4 star hotel but it is maximum 1 and a half. They blame not cleaning our room on coronavirus, but the staff don’t even wear a mask.

Wi-Fi is horrible! If you want to have breakfast you need run to restaurant at first hour, because later you will no have a food! Water does not drain in the sink. Service 3/10, higiene 2/10.

One of the reception staff was very unpleasant and so nasty and started yelling and yelling at us in front of a lot of hotel guests and phoning the police when we were to check out from the hotel. she demanded more money from us because her college let us in to the hotel a little earlier we paid 63 euros but she felt that it was too little and she requested 74 euros instead but after she was unpleasant from the beginning we refused to pay her between the divorce then she called the police, when the police came to the place so she tried to trick the police and say that we had not paid. but when we talked to the police and showed our reservation, they immediately felt that she was wrong and in the end we were right thanks to the wonderful police who were so professional but she never stopped yelling at us in front of everyone. I hope the owner of the hotel can grab this in a professional way. she does not fit where she is sitting. we were so disappointed and we will never stay in this hotel more. we have been to Germany many times before but we have never met a similar person who was unpleasant like her. I will spread our experience in this hotel to as many people as possible.

Stayed at the camper parking they provided. Laundry room was soaked all over the floor, the dryer didn’t work so I was left with wet clothes and the receptionist had no interest. I first had trouble even exchanging €2 euros for 2x€1 as she had no interest in helping. And when I got €1 Euro coins from the petrol station, the machine took my coins and didn’t work. Apparently at 3pm there is nobody to help me and she looked back at her computer without offering help or even somebody to unlock and release my €2 that didn’t even work!! Just overall very rude and no friendliness at all.
