A beautiful retreat nestled in the green hills of Austrian Alps with breathtaking views, cozy amenities, a great restaurant, a bar and a lounge with nightly entertainment. Very lovely breakfast experience.

Beautiful location. Friendly staff, and good service overall. Rooms are too warm in the summer, as they don't have climate control. The bathroom is very small, and not well constructed for a Spacey single room. In general the hotel is good, but not 5 stars. 4 stars would be a better rate.

We were given a very friendly welcome and everyone was very friendly and accommodating! We will be back! We really enjoyed it!

Fantastic hotel and base for our holiday in oberstaufen

Simply a wonderful place... So many friendly faces that will make your stay even more enjoyable. If you don't go to the hairdresser, it's your fault, it's just there. And one of the bar people is a master of his craft. I'm just talking first class. Thanks for a great weekend. We'll be back.

This place really deserves the title 'resort'. Excellent accomodations, spa, sauna etc. The restaurant serves excellent Italian food. Breakfast served here leaves you completely satisfied! Couldn't have wished for more.

We stayed here during September of this year. The rooms were perfect for simply sleeping at night and taking day trips across southern Germany each day. I just returned from a weekend stay. The hotel is traditional but very well maintained. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We stayed at the suite (70 square meters). It's at the top of the house (5F), The deco was amazing, very old and fashion (so called picturesque). The services were great. We enjoyed the welcome drinks at the bar and my wife felt we were like in the movie scene.

We enjoyed staying here. Prices were decent, the staff was friendly, there is both an indoor and outdoor pool, breakfast had a lot of bread selection and the rooms were pretty - gives you a true Bavarian country style experience, although that does mean no A/C! We also loved hearing the cowbells!

The hotel impresses with its rustic mix of old and new - very nicely done! Our room was very clean, we also liked the modern bathroom and there was plenty of space in the double room. Particularly nice, for a small surcharge you can have breakfast in your room. The staff are very friendly! The highlight is of course the spa, the outdoor heated pool and the new gym! Awesome hotel! Staff was always nice, rooms were perfect. Never heard our neighbors, beds were freakin comfy. The gym facilities were very good, just as the wellness area - pool, hot tub and sauna. Brilliant for relaxing after a long hiking day. By the way hiking... easy access to a wide variety of hiking trails. Good location in the heart of the city. Everything's nearby. Will come again.

Nature at its best combined with a hotel that fits right in. Great rooms, gorgeous views, fabulous food, a wellness center that feels like an oasis and all this crowned with amazing staff. Worth it every time!

The 11-day Schroth cure at the Kronenhof were just super nice again. I'm already looking forward to my next Schroth cure in 2022 in the Kronenhof. I think it's a shame that the "Oberstaufen Plus Card" is no longer available.

Great hotel that was able to combine tradition and modernity in a good balance. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The location of the hotel is very quiet, the meadow behind the house offers opportunities to relax. Nevertheless, you can walk to town in 10 minutes. The wellness area is nicely laid out and very well maintained. I'm looking forward to the next visit and the next fasting...

The Hotel is very nice, the full service very nice and accommodating. It's all there, indoor swimming pool, a Spa tub, a Sauna, and infrared. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a balcony. The TV could be bigger. Breakfast was very good. I also had a cosmetic treatment, which I really liked. From the Hotel it is baptized a short walk to the centre of the top. I'll definitely be back !

We felt very comfortable and in good hands. Always friendly and always striving for hospitality. We have stayed in four and five star hotels. A team that can stand up to any four and five star hotel. Then, of course, the fantastic surroundings come into play. Pure relaxation makes you want more. There is no downside. A small fridge in the room would be beneficial.

We recently spent a few days in the Allgäu in the Kur und Aktivhotel. We really liked it. Nice staff, we had nothing to complain about. Thanks to the cleaning staff who put a smile on our faces for one day with their little hearts. Lovingly furnished and clean hotel with nice hosts and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated. Excellent family run hotel. We had the "feel-well" package with breakfast, dinner and afternoon cake&coffee. Dinner is excellent, you can tell that the chef (dad of the family) is putting his heart into it. The mom, running everything else, takes excellent care of the guests. The grandma makes amazing cakes for tea-time. Rooms are cute and well maintained.

The best steak that you can eat in the whole Allgäu area. 5 star gurme restaurant at normal prices! Must try for sure!

We "found" this wonderful family-run hotel online and what a pleasant surprise upon arrival! It is definitely off the beaten-path, which ensures the quiet location and peaceful atmosphere with mountain views. The service is outstanding and the restaurant meals were also top-notch. The Oberstaufen Pass provided lift-tickets for the ski areas nearby as well as other benefits which we could not utilize...

What a wonderful hotel with very personal and lovely service! We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every second. It was my boyfriend's birthday and he received a few lovely surprises.
