Hotel Kühberg in Oberstdorf

A wonderful and relaxing hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast offering was good and plenty. The view of the surrounding mountains was amazing. Hotel is situated next to hiking and biking trails. A short 15 minute walk into the town of Oberstdorf where you will find lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Oberstdorf will not disappoint! Will definitely come back again!

Great hotel at a great location! The hotel is family owned with only 20 rooms, which allows very accommodating and nice service. Food quality is excellent, good choice of wines (for good recommendations check with the service, not all wines are shown on the menu) and cocktails. A
For dinner there is always a vegetarian option. Ingredients are mostly local. Stunning views over Oberstdorf and a good starting point for hiking. Hotel is on the hill above the city, about 15 min away from the center

Just pure pleasure: I don’t think we can find so many superlatives. Our stay at Kjuberg was perfect in every way. Starting from the warmth of the whole team, the homely atmosphere, the furnishing of the rooms with super nice mattresses, the fantastic location – you can only rave about it. The crown then certainly lays on the food. Creative, incredibly delicious and every dish a revelation. It all sounds too perfect, but it was. Thanks to everyone at Kjuberg for a wonderful time. We will be back, and until then, have a great time everyone.

Excellent, large, modern rooms. Delicious breakfast with a huge choice, afternoon tea was always very good and the 3 course dinner was delicious every day (including a choice between meat/fish/vegetarian). The quality is much higher than in standard restaurants and visually very attractive. The staff were always very polite and helpful. Always had tips for hikes and other activities. Everything was very clean. Free parking at the hotel. The location with a particularly beautiful view over Oberstdorf. The room with infrared seats. I must have forgotten something, but overall it was just top notch and it definitely was not our last visit!

We were there 3 weeks ago. All I can say is fabulous. The service is just great! The rooms are just beautiful and incredibly clean and the location is just amazing. The food was absolutely delicious 👌 we were so excited that we booked again when we left and can't wait to be there again next week 🤗

The view was amazing. The misunderstanding was handled professionally, an alternative was offered and implemented immediately. The room was very clean, new, fresh and furnished with good furniture. The bed may seem hard, but sleeping on clouds is guaranteed! Thanks for the elderflower syrup :-)

I ended up in this hotel by mistake. I wanted to book at the Hotel Restaurant Kuhberg in Hamburg and when I looked up their website I booked at this other hotel without realising. I called to cancel and they wouldn't let me. I know it was my mistake, but I think humanity should be above rules and contracts, and I would be much poorer than the hotel if I lost that money. Since I couldn't afford to lose the amount of the reservation, I had to take a train and spend 14 hours crossing the whole country. And well, as for the hotel, the truth is that the place is wonderful. The room was spacious and luxurious. The only drawback I would put on it was the pillow, it was noticeably very used and uncomfortable, I think they could use a memory foam makeover. The food offered for dinner was fantastic and the breakfasts were very good too. The attention of the staff is what I would call "professional kindness", correct at all times. In conclusion, it was a change of plans that led to a completely different vacation, but one that I was certainly able to enjoy. I would add that since I arrived in the morning of the following day, I missed a dinner that they have not reimbursed me for. It would have been a nice touch on their part.

It's incredibly beautiful. The rooms are exceptional, modern, comfy, & very well designed. The atmosphere here is superb & quite. Perfect for a vacation in the mountains.

Great atmosphere. Great location, super relaxed staff. Brilliant food. A fantastic view and a direct route to the mountains. The holiday begins the moment you drive onto the farm :)
