Not a real 4,5* star hotel if you can get a room with connecting doors to adjacent room with a little baby crying through the night… In general you feel more like in a holiday resort which may be finw but keep it in mind. Breakfast really great but can be crowded and noisy. Quite far from the beach and difficult access, however great views and location on the (steep!) hill with sea on both sides. ...

The hotel was good and comfortable, but the whole experience wasn’t great, check-in was late. The breakfast was nice, but very crowded and one time we could not find a place, given that we were with our baby. The room was small, due to that I found the whole experience kinda not matching to the price.

My wife and I recently stayed at Vju Hotel Rügen, and our experience had its positives and negatives. The hotel room impressed us with its modernity, cleanliness, and spaciousness, and the added convenience of a kitchenette was a nice touch. The breakfast spread was diverse and enjoyable. However, it's worth noting that the hotel's location was a bit distant from the beach, which was a minor drawback...

Staff was mostly friendly. The ad said most rooms have a balcony. But when we arrived, in order to have a room with a balcony we had to pay 150 extra. Not okay. The pool was too cold to enjoy fully. The hotel is in a good location. The rooms are small and outdated. A plus that they had gluten free rolls and bread for me and lactose free milk. However the regular menu had almost nothing I could eat...

The hotel is located very close to Göhren center and still very quite. The personal touch makes this a fantastic location to stay.

The boss of the house is totally friendly and there for each of her guests. (Thanks Tina 😊) The breakfast is very nicely done all Wishes are fulfilled and a lot of regional and homemade (jam a dream!) The rooms are lovingly furnished and very clean. The pool and sauna are a dream. We'll be back 😊

I was a guest at the Hotel Sonnenklahr in June. Absolutely great atmosphere and very nice team. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and of high quality. Virtually nothing to be desired. The breakfast was delicious. The highlight is the film-ready beach that is in the immediate vicinity. Highly recommended, gladly again!

Room was good, big and spacious. The hotel room we got was very near to beach. Nice location. Friendly staff, and nice stay. The car parking (You have to pay extra) lot was just behind the building, so very comfortable. Breakfast was good, limited options for vegetarians. But, not a problem, you can be full. Wifi signal was poor in room, and I say, it was not working inside !

It was very good. Full of burgers. What I found really great was that on the one hand we got a table spontaneously and the kids had something to draw so the waiting time (which was not very long) was more bearable. The service was very good.

Very nice breakfast. A la carte, but you can choose as much as you like. The SPA is very nice. You are close to the beach. Go for a swim and then to the SPA to relax. The hotel is away from the busy area.

This stay was a dream. Direct view of the sea from the bed. The sound of the sea with the window open. That was nice !! Large double rain shower from the bathroom ceiling. Glass corner in the shower and if you are a little taller, you can even watch the sea or the TV from the shower. Bed very good. Duvet and pillows were super soft. This stay was a dream. Direct sea view from the bed. The sound of the sea from the open window. It was good !! Large double rain shower from the bathroom ceiling. There is a glass corner in the shower and if you are a little taller you can even look at the sea from the shower or watch TV. The bed is very good. The duvet and pillows were very soft. Beautifully decorated rooms with attention to detail...

We had a special time here. The hotel is in a great location right on the promenade, but in a quiet part. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the sea and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and polite. We'll be back.

Great location in the centre, 2 minutes from the beach. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was good. The suite was really cozy, clean and well designed. Also the spa area was everything we hopes for for our weekend stay! :) Definitely recommended!

Good hotel, it's not luxury, but we liked it! There are some reports about rooms with a view on the parking, that must be the smaller rooms. We had a superior room, and it had a nice view. Spa is a bit disappointing, lacks of ambience

The hotel is well located, the service very friendly and the breakfast great. However, as others wrote too, our room was pretty small and our bathroom tiny given the brand and pricing of the hotel. In addition, not everything was spotless clean.

My review refers to a “country-style” double room. The rather small room was equipped with very low beds with sharp edges that could establish a risk of injury. There is a lack of storage space for suitcases. The cleaning of the living room and bathroom was perfect. The service was also correct. Noteworthy is the excellent breakfast, the wellness area and the shuttle service from the train station...

Spent 3 nights here, very pleased. The rooms are very clean and modern. Ours was at the back. You can hear any conversation outside through the courtyard, but it didn't bother us too much. The breakfast was very good! We would like to come back

The hotel is highly recommended. However, it is recommended to book the hotel only after the coronation events are fully completed! ... The underground car park is very narrow. If you are lucky, you will be able to drive home without any additional dents in your car.

Had breakfast guests at the house for my wife's birthday. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of the buffet and everything that came with it. Very nice, welcoming and friendly staff. My wife was even serenaded. 😊👍 Highly recommended for locals!! We would love to go back!

I am very conflicted about this hotel! It has many very good points: a nice spa with pool, whirlpool, sauna. The best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. Nice spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location. But there is two big buts: No airconditioner in the room. When we arrived it was 28.5 degrees celsius inside, with an outside temperature of about 21 degrees. All about feel-good hotels with children & dogs. Excellent breakfast! Great ambience. Friendly staff. The only drawback is parking prices - unfortunately you have to rely on them - otherwise you are only allowed to park for 2 hours on the public road - of course for a fee!

Very nice suites, with a balcony and large windows. The suites can also be booked by couples. There were a lot of couples there. It was pleasantly quiet. Great breakfast buffet until 11 a.m. Very helpful and friendly staff. Suite very clean. You can get a parking space for a fee.

Tasteful furnishings, large suite, nice staff, good breakfast but no air conditioning in the attic, people with reduced mobility have to go through the laundry room, reception only open until 6 p.m., minibar hardly cools, balcony furniture stripped down, spa and bar across the street ...

Very nice hotel. Distance to the beach: 2 minutes. The employees are very relaxed, which makes it very easy to switch off and relax. Everything is well maintained and clean. We would like to come again!

There're two different parts on the hotel with different elevators. The one on the right takes you to the best part of the hotel, closer to the buffet restaurant and with much better rooms and views. Make sure you ask them to give you the "good" room, it has the same price as the other one. And please note: The spa is geman-like nude. You'll see some naked people.

The Suite hotel is so great and I can Renommee to. Every one with children.... Theresa is a big playhall eher the Kids up froh 2 years can play so mich stuff... The stuff is gern Nixe and help full the Rooms are little bit small but nice.... You can Fail if you Book. This hotel

Fantastic location on the promenade just 50 metres from the beach, and it was worth paying more for a room with the sea view. Breakfasts were superb, and the restaurant served delicious fish dishes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed there for a week and were genuinely sorry to leave.

Great hotel on the seafront. The rooms are modern and extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are roomy and beautiful. The spa (Turkish bath and two different kinds of sauna) is a dream. Fantastic breakfast and adorable staff. Dogs accepted.

Staff (Especially Reception) was incredibly nice and always smiling. rooms are clean and as shown in pictures. Also amazing kitchen.

The breakfast room is at an excellent location, facing the sea front and the "Promenade" of Binz. The choice and quality of the food is excellent. It is very smart that cold cuts and fish are in a separate, cooled location. Egg choices are being asked by the service staff and prepared and served to you, you don't have to stand in line. What makes this place exceptional is it's 10...

This hotel is situated in the middle of the Strandpromenade in Binz with a few meters to the sandy beach. Our room was at the 4th and fifth floor - we had a balcony with a free view over neighbour houses and a side sea view. The breakfast was splendid with fresh fruit, new prepared eggs dishes - salmon, sausages, croissants etc.

Arrived early @11:00 - room was ready - a bonus. Breakfast was good as always. Sunny balcony at rear [no sea view]. Sauna/spa empty.

Pleasant experience with breakfast and dinner. 20€ city tax for two nights for two people - very high. Also parking - 20€ per day in some other hotel nearby without any surveillance. The room had dirty walls, the pillows are like a marshmallow and do not sustain a good sleep, the carpets on the hall small smoked tobacco and don’t look clean. The bathroom is great, hot shower and clean towels. Fridge...

Very nice hotel. A short walk to the beach via a walking path and a green belt. Nearby locations of natural parks for hiking and biking. The surroundings are kept very clean. You can see how the Germans care about order and especially along the coast near Binz clean and accessible toilet. facilities.

Nice enough hotel. Great location. Good customer service. Our room was spacious and alright for two nights. We had someone stamping in the room above us. I reported this to reception and they dealt with the issue right away. Cleanliness in the room could have be improved. The shower wasn't cleaned and the bedspread was just left as they found it over the chair. There were hairs that don't look like...

We stayed in an spacious apartment with no sea view but was a stone's throw away from the beach. Very helpful staff as well.

Stay was nice. Clean and pretty however the breakfast was worse. There was no item to eat and breakfast was not ready at 9.30. People speak English at reception and are really friendly. All and all had good time.

Amazing hotel, at the beach promenade, with big ADD (with good food, quality and breakfast choice), super health and wellness, indoor pool and big Spa (including big beauty saloon and various applications). Best and only rooftop bar with life music … must visit ! Nice outdoor culinary venues and along many Private Palace Hotels food & beverage outlets along the promenade.

Binz 2019 A lovely destination with lots to see around or just to lie on the fantastic beach. We usually try to stay at the Arkona Strandhotel as it fulfills our wishes and is right on the beach, in addition it is walking distance to most things

Great room and location but the cleaning is not real, they don’t really clean the rooms or change the sheets and no vacuuming so the rooms will get sandy even if you ask for cleaning they don’t do it properly and no vacuuming! Small pool but okay also The sauna and pool is kind of dated!

Our stay there was very good. The breakfast was always very good. The staff was always very nice and helpful. The areas were always clean and tidy. I can only recommend the hotel. If there is one, we will definitely come again.

The rooftop bar is very nice, it is decorated in style and has sea views. The personnel is really friendly. Definitely the place to be in Binz.

Lived at Arkona Strandrecidenzen connected to the hotel and only had the breakfast buffet here every morning for a week. It was great!!! We enjoyed it very much. It must be said that the personal here is some of the most friendly and helpfull we have ever experienced!! Thanks for making the beginning of our days great🌹

Good service , food & location. It is just bizarre that one must beg every day for toilet paper. This is a cheap money-saving policy for a hotel that charges this price.

Location is excellent, about 200m away from the beach and less than 10 minutes walk to the town proper. The room is big, has it's own kitchenette, dining area and living room with a pull-out sofa bed. Both the bed and sofa bed are comfortable. Reception is across the street, the same reception as Arkona Hotel. Receptionist were very helpful and can speak English well.

Great rooms, fine beds. Close to the beach and only 10 minutes from trainstation. We enjoyed our stay. We had breakfast every morning included and it was great.

It's a decent hotel, a bit pricey for what you get during high season. The room was clean but dated. The staff is friendly and breakfast is good. The location is excellent, right in front of Binz beach.
