Gute Hoffnung Hotel

Positive:
- The Hotel is very centrally located (a reason for our booking), there is a hotel Parking available, otherwise there are other paid Parking in the street available
- Non-Smoking rooms

Negative:
- The reception is occupied only partially, for the rest of the time there is a Check-In machine (with prior booking). We checked in Saturday afternoon, there only on the vending machines. No one could be reached.
- We were housed in room 20. Very cobwebs of the hotel was excellent, on the ceiling, the silicone of the shower grout is very black (mold?), the curtains and bed pad spotty (we don't want to know by what).
- The upper floor is inhabited (family?), from there, came to meet us on arrival, loud music, and in the evening was not to think of sleep. Loud music and noise (there is thought, etc.) to bowl. It is only about 23.30 PM, it was quiet.
- We had booked a quiet non-Smoking room. However, noise pollution up in the night and the rooms to the street side.
- The Hotel is very noisy, the call of our neighbors, we were able to understand almost in plain text.
- The Breakfast the next Morning was disappointing, especially since it was charged with 5 euros per Person (we were informed when booking that the Breakfast costs extra). There is only one staff member for Check-In-Out and Breakfast available. Thus, interruptions in the Breakfast room (coffee and food arose constantly were refilled during the breaks, when not a guest at the Check-In-Out)

We are very disappointed and not come back! A 3-star classification is out of place here!

Good location in town. Old room but clean. Very noisy , no parking , no air flow , uncomfortably warm. We book non smoking room but the room is just above a smoking spot so all the smoke come into the room anyway even with close window. I definitely will not go back to this hotel but might recommend the place to anyone who like smokes and noisy room.
