We have been coming back for many years because it is a small, fine family-run hotel. The atmosphere is homely, the rooms are nicely furnished with lots of beautiful pictures and small works of art. Rooms are being renovated again and again. The wellness area is small and nice. The owners are very friendly and make your stay as pleasant as possible.

We spent 5 days with our dog at the Hotel Hof Wasserkuppe. The hosts were very friendly and tried hard and we really enjoyed our stay from the first to the last day. The breakfast was very good, everything your heart desires. We really liked the wellness area. We can really recommend the hotel unreservedly. Many thanks to the hosts. We will definitely come back again.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Room was great and always clean. Beds were comfy. Only the church bells in the church next door could disturb if you don't sleep as deeply as we did. The rooms are very clean and in good shape. I slept well on the mattress, even though it was very soft. In general, the house is very badly soundproofed and is on the street. At breakfast we first had to ask for a high chair for our daughter and a guest who was afraid of dogs was not taken very seriously ("the dog doesn't do anything"), which was a shame. Loved the shower especially! Room with a kettle is also not to be taken for granted in Germany. Really near the town but not right in it.

The coolest thing is the underfloor heating in the bathroom. And the shower has a lot of pressure on the line ...... We ended up in this hotel by accident! A really great boss, this hotel is run with love, a vegan dish is conjured up when you eat! We were 100% satisfied and can only recommend the hotel! The hotel is centrally located and very suitable for hiking tours!

After a wonderful hike through the Rhön, we have found the perfect end here. Delicious food and fine drinks. Schnitzel lovers get their money's worth here. The service was absolutely fine, the boss bought us a "vitamin drink" on the house. Again any time

I had dinner at the restaurant, can’t say anything about the hotel. They offer home-style cuisine in a rustic setting. The food was good, and the staff was friendly and attentive. They only have a small menu, no starters or desserts.

For a sports hotel, in my opinion, a bit too spartan equipment. For example, we have the option to hang up or dry missing wet clothes. But we also had the cheaper room category with € 60 per night in the neighboring building. Food is better than some 5 star hotels. However, one cannot expect a choice like in a luxury hotel. The fresh dishes (good plain) are always (!!!!) super tasty. The Milseburg invites you to go hiking and those who need a little more action can drive or hike to the summer toboggan run on the Wasserkuppe (15 minutes by car / 2 hours on foot).

3 wonderful days spent here. Were here first. But definitely not for the last time. The service was very courteous and friendly. The food was sensational. Once had a 3 course menu and once a 4 course menu. It was from the exceeded expectations. The roulade is tender and the saddle of venison to the point. Clean and well maintained. The interior was well done with the different themes. The saunas are really worth a visit. The restaurant has a decent variety of food. The showers are completely open so keep that in mind. The people working there are friendly and ready to help.

Everything just fits here. First of all, the location is ideal for a relaxing hiking holiday in the Rhön. A very attentive and local host is available for all open questions and tips. In any case, you should book with breakfast here!

We stayed there for 2 nights in a double room. The building is old but partially renovated. The rooms are a decent size, but it was a little cold. We found the room in a clean condition. Due to Corona, breakfast was not served as a buffet, but directly at the table. Fresh rolls, sausage, cheese, egg jam, raw vegetables, etc. It was plentiful and we didn't miss anything. The room is characterized by the old construction, yet spacious and recently renovated. You can move back to old times in your mind. Location is very quiet, despite the central location. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable, you slept wonderfully. Breakfast was delicious, everything was already to be found at the table. Störend ist der Strassenlärm welcher bei gekipptem Fenster doch laut ist. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Sauberkeit ist top. Zu empfehlen ist auch das zugehörige Restaurant wo sehr gutes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen angeboten wird.

Nice accomodation and a great value for the price! The staff (mostly the owner and his family) are always friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is really good although the furnishing is too traditional for my taste. This place also offers free and reliable wifi!

Great, modern apartment house in a central location! The apartments are newly renovated and very attractively furnished, the contactless check-in via code is flexible and easy and the manager was always easy to reach, and extremely friendly and helpful. Here it was perfectly possible to combine the advantages of the hotel operation vs. AirBnB. An unreserved recommendation on my part!

No night portier, so had to pick up card outside in a box. Had to call for pin. No information on this in English outside, only German. Nice big room, clean towels, nice toilet. Probably one of the best B&B I have seen. New, modern, clean and amazing view. I was pretty surprised. However when I visited I had to first check in before getting in the parking area, which means I had to leave the car in the entrance and go for a check in. It was raining so not the best thing. Maybe the issue is already fixed.

We had a wonderful time in this detailed hotel. True to the motto: small but nice. Thanks to a private hotel tour by the owner, we were able to look at all the rooms with the many loving details. Breakfast was yummy, last room for me was for disabled people...so it was huge room with big bathroom... ? couldt find football channel and that was bad, because of the game Dortmund vs Real Madrid....

The room is very clean and big, and the staff are helpful and friendly. But in summer, i wouldn't recommend it because the room is very hot. Not warm, hot. They are currently doing renovations, so i hope they know about this issue. No AC. But they will give you a ventilator. Maybe this is a good point if you want to stay here in winter😊 Fyi: no refrigerators in the room, nor a kettle. Idk if you could...

Good experience. Very clean rooms. Best part is, it is possible to check-in after 10:30 pm after the reception is closed using the automatic check in machine. One thing to note, if you call the emergency number mentioned on the entry it is not answered by anyone. So good to confirm about free parking before the receptionist beforehand.

The room is very big and 2 complete sides of the room are windows, but the sun shutters didn't work . It was hot , I tried to use the fan in the room also it's not working. Internet connection is also unreliable and very slow. Overall, it's ok.

I just walked in here first time and met very nice staff at the front desk, got my room plus all necessary information. Room is done up in a modern style, really clean and nicely prepared, equipped with a turn around tv desk. Breakfast is available if you book it additionally. Put in a nutshell, you get what you pay for. There's nothing to complain about. Recommend this place.

The accomodation is in the city center, easly reached but really calm and quite. All was working smoothly and in nice way. I would recommend it.

Perfect location in the old city center. Many restaurants, coffee shops and pubs in the vicinity. Very quiet at night. Sharing a bathroom with another guest was no problem at all. Keys were in the safe, waiting for us. Excellent experience.
