AZUR Camping Regensburg in Regensburg

We had a good place for parking in a little bit behind,it’s very close to the River and back street but very far away from WLAN .When I went to the Rezeption and asked, the answer was WiFi available only in Rezeption area,Sorry. 😢😢
Another comment are the shower at the same building with Reception are so strong , it’s hurting all back& front body & not good separation so you can’t keep your shoes dry for sure. Some rooms not so clean even we can hear the cleaner slammed the door open when she works 😅😅

But if you don’t mind with theses topics I think this place has a good surrounding area and very easy to surway around Regensburg .

I am amazed that none of the reviews have commented on the fees charged by this campsite - 36 Euros, regardless of size of tent, number of occupants, whether accompanied by a vehicle, whether electricity is required. This is 50% more than any other campsite we stayed on in nearly 5 weeks of cycling. When we queried the fee, we received a shrug of the shoulders and a 'we've got a monopoly on campsites in the city' as justification. The facilities were adequate but bore no resemblance to the 5 Star campsite a day down the road at Neustadt, a snip at 24 Euros in comparison. If we'd only known that the canoe club 500 metres away offered camping facilities, we'd have snapped up the opportunity in an instant.

36€ for a tent and two people in the cyclist meadow? That’s the most expensive of any campsite I’ve come across in months of cycling Europe. Check out the Canoe Club 1.5 km closer to the city- 8€/ person, super peaceful, has a fridge and covered area.

24€ for one night camping pitch is atrocious. 2x every other campsite in Germany. Azur Camping should be ashamed.

The actual pitch is covered in mud hard areas, not much grass. Facilities are good though. I would avoid.

One of the worst campsites we've stayed on in over 50 years. Unfriendly reception, overpriced, scruffy pitches and a complete disregard for safety. The campsite tried to park other motorhomes less than 1 metre away from us and other residents despite the fact that there was plenty of space in other parts of the campsite. We love Germany but we will not return to Azur Camping!
